    Opis:
    The article analyzes emotions in literature and their deep connection with the represented space. A good illustration of such interrelations is provided by the memoir of Amos Oz, A Tale about Love and Darkness (2002). The interpretation demonstrates that the relation between the personal experience (including family) and community values may shed light upon other questions such as the difficult past of the state of Israel, growing up into a wise patriotism and establishing real connections with the homeland.

    Tekst omawia relacje między obszarem, przestrzenią i miejscem. Autora interesują nie tyle same pojęcia, ile ich znaczenie w postrzeganiu, waloryzowaniu i użytkowaniu miejskiej przestrzeni. W pierwszej części analizuje rolę miejsca i sposobów jego konstruowania w społecznej praktyce. Kolejne fragmenty artykułu dotyczą mitotwórczej roli metra i ambiwalencji przestrzeni, sposobów jej przyswajania oraz kurczenia się przestrzeni publicznych we współczesnym mieście.
    The article is devoted to the relationship between the concepts of territory, space, and place. The author is interested in the meanings of these concepts in the context of perceiving, valuing and using the urban space. The first section focuses on the role of place and its construction in the social reality. The following parts refer to the meaning of a metro and the ambivalence of space, methods of absorbing it, and to the disappearing public space in contemporary cities.

    Theoretical considerations and research on “territoriality” of development processes cause that territory takes on a new meaning. Writing about the territory Nowakowska [2011] states that we should no longer take into account only ‘area’ extracted according to geographical and administrative criteria – but also the space that has been shaped historically, in which a specifi c institutional and organizational arrangement has been created. The essence of the concept of “territory” boils down to the combination of dimension associated with the space in the physical dimension with its cognitive and social dimensions. Considerations on the nature of “territory” bring to “conclusion” that the term is no longer associated only with “physical space” treated in the traditional theories of business location as cost of land, capital, labor and transportation costs. Territory begins to be seen as “a form of organization that reduces uncertainty and risk, which is a source of information, accumulation as well as a transfer of knowledge and skills and as a source of innovation. In this paper formulated thesis states that in the coming term (years 2014–2020) a well-organized space will be a source for innovation. There was presented a forecast of regions’ innovation potential for 2016 with the use of a non-model method. Based on the article it can be concluded that the diversity and creativity drive each other and thus allow to stimulate innovation and economic growth for which well-organized space is essential.

    The article presents Heidegger’s concept of dwelling and Arendt’s figure of a stateless person in order to show a more profound existential dimension of the issue of the occupied territory. The juxtaposition of the above philosophical perspectives allowed for fully stressing the fact that the issues concerning refugees, migrants, repatriates are undoubtedly associated not only with legal or economic aspects, but primarily with how are we able to think about human existence in the context of the dwelling space.

    L’objectif de l’article est de questionner, dans une approche comparative, le lien entre la mémoire et l’espace dans les récits autobiographiques et testimoniaux d’Anna Langfus, Bruno Durocher et Piotr Rawicz. Dans leurs textes, l’espace s’érige en un des moyens de faire travailler la mémoire et aborder le passé. Il s’agit d’un côté d’une dimension extérieure, dépendante des décisions épistémiques du sujet parlant. Avec ses frontières bien délimitées, l’espace prend soit la forme d’un refuge, d’un « chez moi », soit, au contraire, il devient hostile et menaçant. La deuxième dimension n’opère ni frontières, ni topologies, mais résulte de la découverte de l’animalité de l’homme. Poussée à l’extrême, elle aboutit à une symbiose parfaite ou à une « indiscernabilité » entre le sujet et le lieu. Ainsi, combinant les approches autobiographiques/testimoniales et les perspectives spatiales/territoriales, l’article démontre-t-il le caractère spatial de l’expérience humaine et de la mémoire.
    The paper aims at describing and interpreting in comparative approach the works of three Polish‐French writers: Anna Langfus, Bruno Durocher et Piotr Rawicz. I follow the authors of What Is Philosophy in believing that “thinking takes place in the relationship of territory and the earth”. Therefore, my analysis is structured with the Deleuzian notion of territory and demonstrates how memory of wartime is anchored in the geographical and imaginary spaces. On the one hand, it is an external dimension which depends on the epistemic decisions of the subject. With its well-defined borders, the space is represented as a refuge, an “at home”, or, on the contrary, it becomes hostile and threatening. On the other hand, the space is represented as a territory and results from the discovery of the animal nature of man. Combining autobiographical/testimonial approaches and spatial/territorial perspectives, the article demonstrates the spatial character of human experience and memory.

    Artykuł stanowi próbę zastosowania koncepcji rezerwatu autorstwa Ervinga Goffmana jako narzędzia służącego do opisu, wyjaśnienia i zrozumienia roli przestrzeni w procesach edukacyjnych studentów niepełnosprawnych – szczególnie w przestrzeni opartej na braku segregacji. W artykule przestawiono analizę roli jaką odgrywa przestrzeń, miejsca i obszary w procesach kształcenia niepełnosprawnych uczniów. Autor charakteryzuje problem tworzenia przestrzeni uczniów niepełnosprawnych w edukacji włączającej i integracyjnej jako formę tworzenia rezerwatów. W artykule zilustrowano koncepcję dokonując opisu dwóch założeń kształcenia włączającego przy pomocy kategorii zaproponowanych przez Goffmana, tj. dobra, roszczenia, interesant, przeszkoda, autor, agent.
    The paper attempts to apply the concept of sanctuary developed by Erving Goffman as a tool for describing, explaining and understanding the importance of space in educational processes of disabled students – especially in its non-segregational forms. The paper presents an analysis of the importance of space, places and territories in the processes of education of disabled students. It characterizes the problem of creating space of disabled students in inclusive and integrational education as a form of creating sanctuaries. Finally, the paper attempts to exemplify the concept by describing two assumptions of inclusive education by means of Goffman’s categories: goods, claims, stake holder, obstacle, agent.
