    Opis:
    The issue of men’s confession is very little developed, although it is seem as an important research problem. Contemporary conditions of experiencing masculinity include changes in civilisation and the development of various types of therapies which, despite revealing wounds, do not always help to overcome them. Interdisciplinary research on confession of men shows that their motivation to recourse to the sacrament of penance includes the desire to meet an understanding confessor who will help them regain confidence and self–reliance. Willingness to overcome weaknesses lies at the heart of seeking help in mastering one’s lusts and sins. Men’s different approach to moral problems consists of their willingness to solve the problem quickly, or of resorting to illusory escape from the experienced difficulty. It is important to show the theological aspect of confession which is an encounter with Christ who defeated sin and death in the mystery of the cross and resurrection.

    Artykuł jest próbą opisania postawy wobec sakramentu pokuty. Badanie ankietowe zostały przeprowadzone na grupie 65 osób. Jeden z aspektów dotyczył praktycznego podejścia osób badanychpraktycznego sakramentu pokuty i pojednania. Wykazano, że wysoki stopień deklarowanej religijności często nie idzie w parze z praktykowania tego sakramentu.
    The  article  is  an  attempt  to  describe  the  attitude  toward  the  sacrament  of  penance. A questionnaire-based survey carried out on the group of 65 people provided some basic information, including their practical approach to the confession. It has been proved that a highdegree of declared religiousness often does not go hand in hand with practicing of this sacrament because as much as 1/4 of the respondents goes to confession rarely or sporadically. Almost 20% of the group spends little or no time on the examination of conscience and a prayer before the confession. Moreover, the motivation, difficulties and the opinion on how confession influences life, were also diagnosed. It turned out that in many cases there is a noticeable connection between the answers and sex, place of living (urban or rural area), age and level of education. The analysis showed that there is a considerable degree of individualism and selectiveness in attitude toward the sacrament of penance and reconciliation so it is necessary to realize again the need and under- standing of it, especially among men and young people.

    Zagadnienie spowiedzi mężczyzn jest bardzo mało opracowane, choć jawi się jako ważny problem badawczy. Do współczesnych uwarunkowań przeżywania męskości należą zmiany cywilizacyjne oraz rozwój różnego rodzaju terapii, które ujawniając zranienia, nie zawsze pomagają je przezwyciężyć. Interdyscyplinarne badania nad spowiedzią mężczyzn ukazują, że ich motywacją przystępowania do sakramentu pokuty jest pragnienie spotkania z rozumiejącym spowiednikiem, który pomoże im odzyskać pewność i zaufanie do samego siebie. Chęć pokonania słabości leży u podstaw szukania pomocy w opanowaniu swych pożądliwości i grzechów. Odmienność traktowania trudności moralnych przez mężczyzn polega na chęci ich szybkiego rozwiązania lub pokonywaniu znalezionej złudnej formy ucieczki od przeżywanych trudności. Istotne jest ukazanie teologicznego wymiaru spowiedzi jako spotkania z Chrystusem pokonującym grzech i śmierć w tajemnicy krzyża i zmartwychwstania.
    The issue of men's confession is very little developed, although it is seen as an important research problem. To the contemporary conditions of living of masculinity are changing civilization and the development of various types of therapies that revealing injury, do not always help to overcome them. Interdisciplinary research confession men show that their motivation to join the sacrament of penance is the desire to meet the understanding confessor that will help them regain confidence and self-reliance. The desire to overcome the weakness underlies seek help in mastering their lusts and sins. Disparate treatment of moral problems by men lies in their willingness to quickly solve the problem, or overcoming it finds the illusory form of escape from the difficulties lived. It is important to show the theological dimension of confession, as an encounter with Christ defeated sin and death in the mystery of the cross and resurrection.

    Artykuł podejmuje kwestię tajemnicy spowiedzi rozpatrywanej od strony jej służenia dobru duchowemu penitenta oraz zasad, którymi powinien kierować się spowiednik. Motywem zachowywania tajemnicy spowiedzi jest dobre imię penitenta i jego poczucie bezpieczeństwa w konfesjonale oraz zachowanie prawa kościelnego stojącego na straży świętości sakramentu. Zakres treści tajemnicy spowiedzi obejmuje zarówno grzechy, jak i okoliczności będące przedmiotem wyznania w sakramentalnym spotkaniu. Zdrada tajemnicy spowiedzi może zachodzić wprost lub pośrednio i w obu formach wyrządza krzywdę penitentowi i społeczności eklezjalnej. Nowym zagadnieniem teologicznomoralnym jest niebezpieczeństwo naruszenia tajemnicy w spowiedzi na odległość, szczególnie z użyciem mediów elektronicznych.
    The article discusses the secret of confession from the point of view of its serving to spiritual welfare of a penitent and principles which should be respected by confessors. The reason of the secret of confession is good name of a penitent and his sense of security in the confessional and keeping the Canon Law protecting the holiness of this sacrament. The secret of confession includes both sins and circumstances which are the subject of confession in the sacramental encounter. Betrayal of the secret of confession may occur directly or indirectly and in both forms harms a penitent and an ecclesial community. New theological and moral issue is a danger of a breach of secrecy in a confession at a distance, especially with the use of electronic media.

    Praktyka pozaustrojowego zapłodnienia "in vitro"rozprzestrzenia się coraz szybciej. Osoby, które uczestniczą w różny sposobów w tych procedurach nie są w stanie ocenić ich prawidałwo w konteście sakramentu pokuty i pojdenania. Jaka jest droga podczas której spowiednik powinien poczyć to osoby, jakie warunki muszą zostać spełnione, aby autentyczne pojednanie z Bogiem mogło mieć miejsce? Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą pokazania i przeanalizować kilka podstawowych kwestii odnoszących się do problemów związanych z zapłodnieniem "in vitro" w kontekście sakramentu pojednania i pokuty.
    The practice of extracorporeal „in vitro" fertilization is spreading faster and faster. Persons who participate in many different ways in these procedures and at the same time are unable to evaluate them properly, benefit from the sacrament of reconciliation and penance. What is the way in which the confessor should receive these persons, what conditions have to be accomplished so that an authentic reconciliation with God could take place? The present article is the attempt to show and analyze some fundamental issues relating to the problems connected with „in vitro" fertilization in the context of the sacrament of reconciliation and penance. The analyses pertain to three points. The first one concerns the validity of the sacrament and discusses two main conditions of the sacrament: contrition and atonement; at the same time the need of taking into consideration the moment when the penitent asks for the sacrament with reference to the course of the „in vitro" process is discussed. The second point shows the need of taking into account different determinants on the penitent's part and the influence of these determinants on the awareness and voluntariness of activities undertaken; the author discusses also the problem of the responsibility of different persons involved in artificial fertilization. Last but not least the significance of the confessor's attitude is highlighted

    W niniejszym artykule, wychodząc od pojęcia przestępstwa, rozwinięto zagadnienie bezpośredniego lub pośredniego naruszenia tajemnicy sakramentalnej, o czym mowa w kan. 1388 § 1 KPK/83. Omówione również zostało przestępstwo polegające na nagrywaniu za pomocą jakichkolwiek urządzeń technicznych albo na rozpowszechnianiu w złych zamiarach w środkach społecznego przekazu tego, co zostało powiedziane przez spowiednika lub penitenta w spowiedzi sakramentalnej, prawdziwej lub fałszywej.
    This paper, using the concept of offence as a starting point, elaborates on the issue of direct or indirect violation of the sacramental seal, as referred to in can. 1388 § 1 CIC/83. The author also discusses an offence consisting in the recording with any technical device or dissemination to the media of what was communicated by a confessor or penitent in a sacramental confession, real or false, with malicious intent.

    Opis:
    God acts “ordinary” through the sacraments of the Church and saves us from sin, however always remains open for us a question about the way of salvation. In the space of theological researches and their pastoral applications, however, controversial concepts have emerged, raising a number of questions and doubts that demand a critical assessment. These include concepts of “generational sin”, “intergenerational forgiveness” and “wicket’s confession”. Theological reflection and the involvement of the pastors of the Church in Poland brought with them concrete results in the form of competent theological opinions and disciplinary regulations, and this whole process has become an opportunity to deepen the awareness of God’s action in the sacraments of baptism and penance, as well as the theological-pastoral challenge.

    Autor podejmuje problem warunkowego udzielania głównie dwóch sakramentów: pokuty i pojednania oraz namaszczenia chorych. Na podstawie analizy nauczania Kościoła: lex credendi i (głównie Katechizmu Kościoła katolickiego i Codex Iuris canonici i Kodeksu prawa kanonicznego) i lex orandi (dawne rytuały i obowiązujące księgi liturgiczne) uzasadnia, że w Kościele katolickim była możliwość warunkowego udzielania tylko dwóch sakramentów: chrztu i namaszczenia chorych. Jedynie w podręcznikach teologii moralnej ich autorzy nie tylko rozważali problem warunkowego udzielania rozgrzeszenia, ale także dopuszczali taką możliwość, a nawet ją zalecali. We współczesnej teologii sakramentów świętych mocno akcentuje się prawdę, że są one sakramentami wiary, dlatego mogą je przyjmować jedynie ludzie wierzący oraz wymaga się świadomego w nich uczestnictwa. Zwłaszcza w sakramencie pokuty akty penitenta takie jak żal za grzechy i spowiedź wymagane są do tego, aby otrzymać rozgrzeszenie. Nie ma więc warunkowego rozgrzeszenia, ani warunkowego namaszczenia chorych. Sakramentów udziela się tylko tym, którzy są odpowiednio dysponowani, albo nie udziela się ich wcale.
    The author discusses the problem of conditional administering of two sacraments: of Penance and of the Anointing of the Sick. On the basis of the teaching of the Church—lex credendi (mainly the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Codex Iuris Canonici) and lex orandi (past rituals and currently valid liturgical texts)—the author claims that the Catholic Church has only recognized two sacraments as conditionally administered: of Baptism and of Anointing of the Sick. The idea of conditional administering of Penance has only been discussed in handbooks of moral theology, whose authors not only pondered upon the issue, but also admitted it as an option which they often encouraged. Contemporary theology of sacred sacraments strongly highlights the fact that they are sacraments of faith. Hence, they can only be accepted by believers who are expected to participate in them with awareness. The Sacrament of Penance, in particular, requires such acts like penitence and confession as prerequisite to absolution. Hence, there can be no conditional absolution or conditional Anointing of the Sick. These sacraments are either administered to those who have the required dispositions, or they are not administered at all.
