    Artykuł podejmuje próbę analizy etycznej słów przysięgi małżeńskiej wypowiadanej przez małżonków w liturgii sakramentu małżeństwa. Analiza ta jest ukazana na tle słów ślubowania w ceremonii cywilnej, wzbogacanej nowymi treściami. Rzetelne odczytanie słów przysięgi małżeńskiej w liturgii katolickiej pozwala odkryć personalistyczny wymiar człowieka i jego miłości. Szczególnie zaś kreśli obraz człowieka jako istoty powołanej z daru miłości darmowego i osobowego Dawcy. Jest to obraz człowieka, który może zarazem spełnić siebie poprzez bezinteresowny dar z siebie samego.
    The article attempts an ethical analysis of the words of the marriage vows pronounced by the spouses in the liturgy of the sacrament of matrimony. The analysis is shown over against the words of the civil ceremony which is enriched with new content. A conscientious reading of the words of the marriage vows in Catholic liturgy allows us to discover the personalistic dimension of the human being and his/her love. It especially portrays the human being as called into existence through a free and personal gift of the Giver. It is an image of the human being as one who can fulfill oneself by offering oneself as a disinterested gift.

    Celem "Equipe Notre-Dame" jest pomoc parom w obszernym doświadczeniu sakramentu małżeństwa. Pojęcie małżeństwa, które można znaleźć w pismach założyciela - Caffarela - oraz w dokumentach Ruchu, skupiają się na trzech podstawowych zagadnieniach: miłości, sakramencie małżeństwa i świętości. Miłość małżeńska jest podstawą samego małżeństwa, pochodzi od Boga i prowadzi do Boga. Para ludzka jako ostatnie istoty stworzone przez Boga jest zwieńczeniem stworzenia. Są one również pełnym obrazem Boga, gdyż "Bóg jest miłością", a miłość jest relacją interpersonalną. Nie tylko sakramentalne małżeństwo jest obrazem miłości Chrystusa do Kościoła, ale również daje udział w tej miłości. Nierozerwalna jedność małżonków wypływa z sakramentu małżeństwa. Odzwierciedla on nieodłączny związek Chrystusa z Jego Kościołem. Łaska sakramentu małżeństwa nie ogranicza się do transakcji małżeństwa, ale w sposób dynamiczny wypełnia całe życie małżonków. Każdy chrześcijanin, niezależnie od ich statusu, jest powołany do świętości. W "Equipe Notre-Dame" możliwość uświęcenia poprzez małżeństwo jest silnie zaznaczona, a także udoskonalana jest na droga małżonków  do świętości.
    The aim of the Teams of Our Lady is to help couples in a comprehensive experience of the sacrament of marriage. The concept of marriage which can be found in the writings of the founder - Father Caffarel - and in the documents of the Movement, focuses on three basic issues: love, sacrament of marriage and sanctity. Conjugal love is the basis of marriage itself, it comes from God and leads to God. The human couple as the last creature of God is the culmination of creation. They are also a full image of God, since „God is Love", and love is an interpersonal relation. Not only is sacramental marriage the image of Christ's love to the Church, but it also gives the married couple a share in this love. The unbreakable unity of the couple stems from the sacrament of marriage. It reflects an inseparable relationship of Christ with His Church. The grace of the sacrament of marriage is not limited to the transaction of marriage, but in a dynamic way fills the couple's whole life. Every Christian regardless of their status is called to sanctity. In the Movement of Teams of Our Lady the possibility of sanctification through marriage is strongly highlighted as well as the path of the spouses to holiness.

    Współczesne zmiany obyczajowe oraz towarzyszący im zamęt pojęciowy są w pewnej mierze skutkiem teorii tworzonych na gruncie antropologii i filozofii. Pod ich wpływem wielu młodych ludzi odnosi wrażenie, że szczęście można osiągnąć dzięki wielokrotnemu zmienianiu nie tylko partnerów, ale i płci, a więc dzięki absolutnej wolności. Towarzyszy temu zjawisko współmieszkania i inne formy zakładania domów niby-rodzinnych. W związku z tym zadaniem Kościoła jest szukanie nowego języka, możliwości porozumienia się, zwłaszcza z osobami, które zostały dotknięte tymi różnymi rewolucjami. Dlatego też Kościół ostatnio powołał do życia watykańską Radę ds. Nowej Ewangelizacji i zaprosił wszystkich do tego dzieła. Ponadto Benedykt XVI ogłosił Rok Wiary. Zmiany dotyczą też formy przygotowania młodych ludzi do sakramentu małżeństwa. Z praktyki duszpasterskiej wynika, że należy ponownie przemyśleć tematykę kursów, a niejednokrotnie zastępować je indywidualnym przygotowaniem młodych do sakramentu małżeństwa, dzięki czemu możliwe będzie dotarcie do osób obojętnych religijnie.
    Contemporary change of customs and ensuing conceptual chaos are to an extent the results of theories created in anthropology and philosophy. Under their influence many young people get the impression that happiness can be achieved not only by repeated change of partners but also of one’s sex, so by absolute freedom. This is accompanied by the phenomenon of cohabitation and other forms of setting up quasi-family homes. In this situation it is the task of the Church to seek a new language, new possibilities of communicating especially with people affected by various revolutions. That is why the Church has recently created the Vatican Council for the New Evangelization and invited everyone to join in this new undertaking. Moreover, Benedict XVI proclaimed the Year of the Faith. Changes pertain also to the form of preparing young people to the sacrament of matrimony. From pastoral practice it follows that there is a need to rethink the topics of the premarital courses and often even to replace them with individual preparation of the young people to the sacrament of matrimony. This would enable the Church to reach out to people who are religiously indifferent.

    Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na apel Ojca Świętego Franciszka, wyrażony w adhortacji Amoris laetitia, wzywający do lepszego przygotowania młodych ludzi do zawarcia sakramentu małżeństwa. Ukazanym problemem jest odpowiedź na pytanie o najważniejsze zadania, jakie powinno wypełniać przygotowanie do małżeństwa, żeby było jak najbardziej skuteczne, czyli owocowało świadomością znaczenia tego sakramentu, akceptacją wszystkich jego przymiotów, ważnym i godziwym przyjęciem sakramentu małżeństwa, a następnie pogłębianiem relacji z Bogiem i małżonkiem przez całe życie. Do głównych zadań formacji do sakramentu małżeństwa, odczytanych z adhortacji Amoris laetitia i poddanych analizie w tym artykule, należą następujące: głoszenie kerygmatu chrześcijańskiego, troska o czystość, promocja małżeństwa i rodziny, ukazywanie wartości małżeńskiej płodności oraz mistagogia do sakramentu małżeństwa.
    The present article is an attempt to answer Holy Father Francis’s plea expressed in the exhortation Amoris laetitia, calling to better prepare young people for receiving the sacrament of matrimony. The problem that is shown is the answer to the question about the most important task that preparation for entering into marriage should carry out, so that it would be most efficient, that is, it would bear fruit in the form of the consciousness of the importance of the sacrament, of accepting all its attributes, of receiving the sacrament in a valid and honest way, and then deepening the relations with God and with the spouse throughout the life. The most important tasks of preparation to the sacrament of matrimony that can be found in the exhortation Amoris laetitia and that are subjected to analysis in the article include: preaching the Christian kerygma, care for chastity, promoting marriage and family, showing the value of marital fertility and mystagogue for the sacrament of matrimony.

    The article considers the main incoherences, which emerge from the meeting of dogmatic theology (theology of sacraments) and the Canon Law, general and detailed theology of sacraments (with reference to matrimony), and in the very sacramentological systematics of this sacrament. Particular focus is placed on the following problems: the significance of faith for the sacramentality of matrimony, the relation between natural and sacramental matrimony (Code of Canon Law, canon 1055), the relation between celebration of the sacrament and indissolubility of matrimony (the problem of unconsummated marriages), and the minister of the sacrament of matrimony. The article presents the background of the listed problems, their historical roots.

    Jedną z form przygotowania narzeczonych do sakramentu małżeństwa są katechezy przedmałżeńskie zalecane w Dyrektorium Duszpasterstwa Rodzin. Najczęściej obejmują one 10-12 katechez podejmujących najważniejsze zagadnienia dotyczące katolickiego małżeństwa i rodziny. W referacie przedstawiono krótką charakterystykę uczestników katechez oraz omówiono treści prezentowane na spotkaniach realizowanych w archidiecezji poznańskiej. Wobec rosnących wskaźników rozpadu związków małżeńskich wskazano na szczególne znaczenie rozumienia sakramentalności małżeństwa. Na podstawie wieloletnich doświadczeń uzasadniono celowość podejmowania w ramach katechez problematyki sakramentalności małżeństwa jako jednego z najważniejszych zagadnień. W ramach pracy dyplomowej wykonanej na Podyplomowym Studium Rodziny UAM dokonano oceny prowadzonych katechez w kilku parafiach Poznania, potwierdzając w ogólności pozytywny odbiór ich treści oraz formy. Przytoczono część wyników badań ankietowych dotyczących sakramentu małżeństwa i wykazano pozytywne zmiany postaw w odniesieniu do istoty sakramentalnego związku małżeńskiego. W końcowej części referatu sformułowano ogólne wnioski.
    Premarital catechizing recommended in the Directory for the Pastoral Care of the Family is one of the forms of the engaged couple's preparation to the sacrament of matrimony. It includes typically 10 to 12 catechizing meetings, which apply to the most important issues of Catholic marriage and the family. The present paper provides a short characterization of the participants and the content presented during the meetings held in the Archdiocese of Poznań. An increasing rate of marriage breakdowns shows the great importance of understanding the sacramentality of marriage. On the basis of long-term experience it is purposeful to include the issue of matrimonial sacramentality within the scope of catechizing meetings as one of the most important problems. Within the framework of the present study written at AMU Postgraduate Family Studies evaluation of catechizing in several parishes in Poznan has been done, which confirmed the generally positive perception of its form and content. A part of the questionnaire results related to the sacrament of marriage have been adduced and some positive changes in the attitudes towards the essence of matrimony have been proved. In the final part of the paper some general conclusions have been formulated.

    Sakramentalna transformacja miłości małżeńskiej nie eliminuje fizycznej relacje między małżonkami, która jest źródłem satysfakcji i szczęścia dla nich, ale przemienia ją w wymiarze duchowym. Małżonkowie mogą nauczyć się kochać, jednak tylko wtedy, gdy uda im się nawiązać intymną więź z Chrystusem. Podstawowym elementem jest afirmacja miłości ukochanej osobie i oferując jej własne zaufanie. Osoba kochająca prawdziwie w miłości nie szuka samozadowolenia, ale ma na celu dobrobyt współmałżonka. Taka postawa powoduje, że ich życie jest prowadzone w głębokiej wierze.
    Sacramental transformation of conjugal love does not eliminate a physical relationship between the spouses, which is a source of satisfaction and happiness for them, but transfigures it into a spiritual dimension. Spouses are likely to learn how to love, however, only if they manage to establish an intimate bond with Christ. The basic element of love is affirmation of the beloved person and offering him or her one's confidence and trust. The person truly in love does not seek self-satisfaction, but aims at the well-being of the marital partner. Such an attitude implies that their lives are guided by deep faith.

    Celem niniejszego opracowania było ukazanie sprawdzonych form przygotowania do sakramentu małżeństwa w archidiecezji gnieźnieńskiej oraz przedstawienie ich mocnych i słabych stron. Punktem wyjścia do rozważań na temat ślubu kościelnego jest nauka Kościoła o przygotowaniu do ślubu zawarta w dokumentach Papieskiej Rady ds. Rodziny oraz w wypowiedzi Benedykta XVI. Omówiono zarówno: „parafialną pedagogizację rodziców”, odnowienie przyrzeczeń małżeńskich, modlitwę całej wspólnoty parafialnej za małżonków oraz o przyszłe powołania do sakramentu małżeństwa, promocję błogosławionych małżonków, jak i katechezę parafialną dla młodzieży ponadgimnazjalnej oraz przygotowanie bezpośrednie. Jako fakultatywną propozycję dla narzeczonych w archidiecezji przedstawiono tzw. „Weekendy dla narzeczonych”.
    The aim of the study was to present proven forms of preparation to the sacrament of matrimony used in the archdiocese of Gniezno and discuss their merits and defects. The point of departure for the reflections on the church wedding is the teaching of the Church on preparation to marriage contained in the documents of the Papal Council for the Family and in the addresses of Benedict XVI. The following forms are described: “pedagogization of parents in the parish”, renewal of the marriage vows, prayer of the whole parish for spouses and for future callings to the sacrament of matrimony, promotion of blessed spouses, parish catechesis for secondary school graduates and direct preparation. An optional offer for engaged couples in the archdiocese of Gniezno, namely the so-called “Weekends for engaged couples” are also discussed.

    The words derived from the Ut unum sint encyclical as well as the fruits of the newest research by theologians (among others the members of the International Theological Commission) on the meaning of the Catechism formula of Christian Marriage: “the Sacrament of Faith in the Service of Communion” — became an inspiration to attempt to verify the assumptions confirming the sacramental Identity of Marriages of Baptised Non-Catholics. The author assumes that the today’s challenge for the study of canon law should be to explore more the subject matter of the “the mystery of communion” (UUS, n. 5) in all the complexity of its detailed issues, including the development of relevant conclusions in the canonical (lawmaking) and canonical-pastoral (application of the law) spheres. This is in the name of the rule that church legislation, especially in clarifying key/systemic issues — and among such is the issue of the universality of Bellarmine’s principle of eo ipso sacramentum — is always based on the widely adopted theological foundations.

    “The Gaudium et spes Constitution does not approach [matrimony] a priori—as the Casti connubii Encyclical did—but, instead, it analyzes the reality of matrimony as it is reflected in the Christian consciousness shaped by the teaching of the Church.” This characteristic sentence, derived from Śląskie Studia Historyczno-Teologiczne [Silesian Studies in History and Theology] (1968), which debuted at that time on the market of theological periodicals, shows in itself the epistemological sensitivity and sharp methodical sense of the Author and the Executive Editor of the periodical. This study adopts a hypothesis, which suggests that in this and similar lines of the famous article from 1969—perfectly set in the current of the conciliar aggiornamento—a key to understanding the phenomenon and scientific format of the work of Rev. Professor Remigiusz Sobański (1930–2010) appeared. Positive verification of this hypothesis is not in doubt: the experience of half a century of work as a scientist and person with real-life experience (a judge and officials in the Katowice Tribunal) and the related fact that he has become an undisputed authority in the field of canonical matrimonial law, resulted in the Author’s exposition of the systemic principles of the codified ius matrimoniale (CIC 1983). This finding makes it necessary to reflect, with sharpened attention, on the title area “Pillars of the system of ius matrimoniale canonicum according to Remigiusz Sobański” in the following order: (1) “the principle of matrimonial indissolubility” (irrevocabilis consensus personalis—vinculum indissolubile), (2) “the principle [that] shapes from within all the canonical norms on marriage” (favor matrimonii), (3) “the principle of the right to marriage” (ius connubii), (4) “sacrament— one of the structural elements of the Church” (sacramentum matrimoni; principles: eo ipso sacramentum and favor fidei).
    “Konstytucja Gaudium et spes nie podchodzi [do małżeństwa] a priori – jak to czyniła jeszcze encyklika Casti connubii, lecz analizuje rzeczywistość małżeńską tak, jak ona przedstawia się w świadomości chrześcijańskiej uformowanej przez naukę Kościoła.” To charakterystyczne zdanie, wyjęte z debiutujących podówczas na rynku periodyków teologicznych Śląskie Studia Historyczno-Teologiczne (1968), już samo w sobie zdradza wrażliwość epistemologiczną i wyostrzony zmysł metodyczny twórcy i redaktora naczelnego czasopisma. W niniejszym opracowaniu przyjęto hipotezę, że w tym i podobnych wersach głośnego artykułu z 1969 roku – znakomicie osadzonych w nurcie soborowego aggiornamento – objawił się klucz do zrozumienia fenomenu i naukowego formatu twórczości Księdza Profesora Remigiusza Sobańskiego (1930-2010). Pozytywna weryfikacja tej hipotezy nie budzi wątpliwości: półwiecze pracy naukowca i bogata praktyka (sędziego i oficjała w trybunale katowickim) oraz związany z tym fakt, że stał się on niekwestionowanym autorytetem w dziedzinie kanonicznego prawa małżeńskiego, zaowocowały autorską ekspozycję zasad systemowych skodyfikowanego ius matrimoniale (CIC 1983). Ustalenie to każe z wyostrzoną uwagą reflektować tytułowy obszar filarów systemu ius matrimoniale canonicum według R. Sobański, w następującej kolejności: (1) “zasada nierozerwalności małżeńskiej” (irrevocabilis consensus personalis – vinculum indissolubile), (2) “ zasada, [która] inspiruje wszystkie przepisy kanoniczne dotyczące małżeństwa”(favor matrimonii), (3) “zasada prawa do małżeństwa” (ius connubii), (4) “sakrament – jeden z elementów strukturalnych Kościoła” (sacramentum matrimoni; zasady: eo ipso sacramentum i favor fidei).
    « La Constitution Gaudium et Spes n’aborde pas [le mariage] a priori – comme le faisait encore l’encyclique Casti Connubii – mais analyse la réalité du mariage telle qu’elle se présente dans la conscience chrétienne formée par l’enseignement de l’Église. » Cette phrase caractéristique, extraite de la revue théologique Silesian Historical-Theological Studies (1968), qui a fait en ce temps-là ses débuts sur le marché, trahit déjà à elle seule la sensibilité épistémologique et le sens méthodologique aigu du fondateur et rédacteur en chef de la revue. La présente étude adopte l’hypothèse que c’est dans cette phrase et dans les phrases similaires du célèbre article de 1969 – bien intégrées dans le courant de l’aggiornamento conciliaire – qu’a été révélée la clé de la compréhension du phénomène et du format scientifique de l’œuvre du Révérend Professeur Remigiusz Sobański (1930–2010). La vérification positive de cette hypothèse ne soulève aucun doute : un demi-siècle de travail académique, une riche pratique (juge et fonctionnaire au tribunal de Katowice) ainsi que le fait connexe qu’il est devenu une autorité incontestable dans le domaine du droit canonique du mariage, ont abouti à l’exposition par l’auteur des principes systémiques du ius matrimoniale codifié (CIC 1983). Cette constatation rend nécessaire une réflexion approfondie sur les titres des piliers du système du ius matrimoniale canonicum selon R. Sobanski, dans l’ordre suivant : (1) « le principe de l’indissolubilité conjugale » (irrevocabilis consensus personalis – vinculum indissolubile), (2) « le principe [qui] inspire toute la législation canonique sur le mariage » (favor matrimonii), (3) « le principe du droit au mariage » (ius connubii), (4) « le sacrement – un des éléments structuraux de l’Église » (sacramentum matrimoni ; principes: eo ipso sacramentum et favor fidei).

    Opis:
    Referring to the biblical truth about the creation of mankind brings about an exciting understanding of marriage, its sense and objective. Creating man in his own image, God created them as man and woman, and then he gave them a command to be fruitful and multiply and to subdue the Earth (Gen 1:27–28). Pope Leo XIII wrote: “in marriage there is something sanctified and religious, not added but innate, not received from people but rooted in the nature”. The divine origin of marriage means that it is not a purely human institution which is governed by the principles from this world or by individual human desires. It is God’s design. As God is the creator of marriage, man cannot ignore it. In this article we would like to look at God’s design for marriage, which is the contents of the teaching of the Church and her shepherds. In particular we would like to focus on the statements which present the place and role of love in marriage.
