Na treść artykułu składają się informacje na temat wypadkowości na polskich drogach w latach 2016-2018. Przedstawiono również dane na temat skutków wypadkowości w naszym kraju, czyli informacje o poszkodowanych w tych zdarzeniach komunikacyjnych osobach rannych i zabitych. Wymieniono najważniejsze przyczyny wpływające na wypadkowość, tj. nieustąpienie pierwszeństwa przejazdu, nadmierna prędkość jazdy i nietrzeźwość kierowców. Dodatkowo w niniejszym artykule pokazano jak w największym polskim mieście kształtowała się w ostatnich latach sytuacja w zakresie wypadków drogowych i poszkodowanych w nich osób.
The content of the article consists of information on the rate of road accidents on Polish roads in 2016-2018. Moreover, it presents data about effects of accident rate in our country, i.e. information about casualties of such traffic accidents, resulting in death or injury. The major causes of the accident rate were listed such as failure to yield the right of way, speeding and driving under influence of alcohol. Additionally, this paper shows how the situation regarding traffic accidents and accident casualties developed in the largest Polish city in the recent years.

Celem pracy jest wskazanie związku urazowości pieszego z przebiegiem zdarzenia drogowego. Wykazanie zależności pomiędzy rodzajem urazu a czynnikami biorącymi udział w zdarzeniu pozwala określić parametry mające znaczący wpływ na rekonstrukcję okoliczności zdarzenia.
The purpose of the study is relation between pedestrian traumas and car accident proceedings. Showing the correlations between type of injury and accident factors allows to fix significant expertise parameters. An article describes biomechanics of car-pedestrian accident issues and traumas after a car accident in reference to road accident expertise.

This article consists of two parts. The first part is based on the theoretical analysis of the concept of safety and prevention measures in road traffic, described in the existing literature and statistics. Whereas the second part focuses on the analysis of vehicle insurance as a financial instrument of economic safety of road traffic participants. In the 21st century, one of very important problems, not only socially but also economically, referring to Poland and other EU countries is the ongoing development of motorisation and, consequently, the progress in transportation. Unfortunately, this development sometimes leads to the growing number of road accidents and their effects.

Opis:
Percentage of young drivers who were involved in traffic accident with fatalities and injuries is very high. In nearly each fourth accident with fatalities was participated one driver younger than 25 years. Young drivers take part in 26% of all accident with serious consequences (died and serious injuries). In the paper we prepared analysis of casualty among the young car drivers 18-24 years old who participated in traffic on the territory of the Republic of Serbia during the period of 2002. to 2006. According to collected data of casualties we carried out analysis by time and type of accident in which young car drivers were involved. The main aim is to give some traffic safety measures to reduce the accident risks of young car drivers on the road in Serbia.

Even in the ancient times, the need to ensure the safety of human life and the willingness and the possibility of free movement of people with the simultaneous development of means of transport, was noticed by people responsible for the safety of other people. There, where danger was noted, the rules for moving along the routes were gradually introduced. These rules were applied to pedestrians and riders, and later they were adapted to the development of communication technology and they also concerned people using mechanical and non-mechanical vehicles. The sustainable development of technologies related to the road traffic, combined with the rule of adapting the regulations defining the principles of moving on the roads and at the same time ensuring safety for all road users, continues to this day. The constant need to improve the road infrastructure or the need and possibility of free movement is reflected in the revisions of road traffic regulations, which not only ensure our safety at the present time, but also impose obligations on us. The need to make revision of the regulations, resulting from continuous safety analyses, shows which traffic-related areas should be focused on. Among others, such areas are infrastructure, safety related services and supervision over road traffic, the need to introduce innovative safety systems and preventive measures. With reference to the aforementioned areas, an analysis of road safety was carried out on the basis of the road incidents and their participants. The aforementioned safety analysis was carried out on the basis of the statistical data on road incidents that occurred in Raciborz County in the years 2015-2019, where the number of road incidents is presented, divided by legal qualifications, groups of road users, testimonies of road users in connection with the violation of road traffic regulations, the results of road incidents, with indication which “areas” should be focused on in order to improve road safety.

In comparison with previous years it can be seen that the number of accidents decreases. According to statistics from the National Police Headquarters on Polish roads in 2005, 39 730 accidents caused the driver, while 7 119 pedestrians. While in 2004 the fault of the drivers was 41 605 cases and the fault of the pedestrian 8 041.

Road accidents and collisions are very common in Poland and, although for the last several years their number has been constantly decreasing, it is still one of the highest in Europe. This article attempts to provide an answer to the question whether drivers’ overrating the changes in the Polish road transport infrastructure might contribute to the status quo – the factor that has so far been left uninvestigated. In [21] the authors demonstrate that drivers take notice of the changes and perceive them as changes for the better.

The choice of media is an essential part of the preparation of an advertising campaign. Specialists in numerous publications and books are written, it is important to pay attention to the proper selection of media based on the difference between the target groups to whom it is addressed campaign. The differences that may impact on the choice of advertising media are: age of the respondents, place of residence, sex. The target group to which it is addressed campaign has its own particular way of communication and perception of the world, so examine it may be important for advertisers in the selection of appropriate media and communication. Advertisers often save money for preliminary studies on the target group, which is reflected in the end result of the campaign. This paper presents the above depending on the two campaigns in the context of social security.

W artykule omówiony możliwości wykorzystania klasycznych modeli trendu jako modeli jednoczynnikowych do modelowania liczby ofiar niechronionych uczestników ruchu w wypadkach drogowych w Polsce: liczby ofiar śmiertelnych, rannych i ofiar łącznie (rannych i zabitych). Jako zmienne niezależne rozpatrywano ogólną: liczbę wypadków, liczbę ofiar śmiertelnych, liczbę rannych i liczbę ofiar łącznie. W przypadku pieszych uczestników ruchu drogowego oraz liczby ofiar śmiertelnych wśród rowerzystów stwierdzono nadspodziewanie dobre dopasowanie wszystkich modeli dla wszystkich modelowanych zmiennych. W pozostałych przypadkach dopasowanie jest co najwyżej dobre, a w przypadku liczby ofiar śmiertelnych wśród motorowerzystów bardzo słabe. Jako miarę dopasowania wykorzystano współczynnik determinacji R2.
The article discusses the possibilities of using classical models trend as univariate models for modeling the number of vulnerable road casualties in road accidents in Poland: the number of deaths, injuries and the victims in total (dead and injured). As a general independent variables were considered: the number of accidents, number of deaths, the number of injuries and the number of victims in total. For pedestrians of traffic and the number of fatalities among cyclists it was found surprisingly good fit all models for all modeled variables. In other cases, the fit is at most good, and in the case of fatalities among motorcyclists very weak. As far as matching used the coefficient of determination R2.

Niniejszy artykuł stanowi pierwszą z dwóch części.
This article presents the measurement results of movement speed of pedestrians. It takes into account the pedestrians in aged between 10 and 75, with reference to the sex and movement technique of the person as well as the special movement conditions, such as: leading a child hand in hand, carrying a child in someone's arms, carrying bigger parcels, leading a pram, movement of people who hold hands, movement on a wheelchair, with crutches, movement of people who are blind or visually impaired. This article is the first out of two parts.

The aim of the article is an attempt to determine whether the technical condition of vehicles in Wielkopolska has an impact on road traffic. For this purpose, the lighting of 20 passenger vehicles and tires in public transport and driving school cars in Wielkopolska were analysed. The lighting of the subject vehicles was organoleptically tested and their intensity and dipped beam were checked at the vehicle inspection station. In the case of five of the tested vehicles, the luminous intensity was at an unsatisfactory level. In the next step, the tires of 16 randomly selected buses were tested. Tread wear tests were discussed in the analysed buses and the influence of tread wear on tire exploitation was presented. For the tested buses, it is noteworthy that the tires were changed if the tread height was too low. In the last step of the research, the tires of a driving school truck were analysed. It was found that the wear of the tire is not even due to driving on a manoeuvring area. Based on the above tests, it can be concluded that the technical condition of road vehicles is important and affects their operation and safety.

Polish Road Safety Observatory is one of the entities involved in collecting and analyzing data in the field of road safety. An interactive map is a tool which is an integral part of the Observatory. The article presents analysis of road accidents in the municipality of Szadek in 2010–2017 with the use of this tool.

The stochastic processes theory provides concepts and theorems that allow building probabilistic models concerning accidents. So called counting process can be applied for modelling the number of the road, sea and railway accidents in the given time intervals. A crucial role in construction of the models plays a Poisson process and its generalizations. The new theoretical results regarding compound Poisson process are presented in the paper. A nonhomogeneous Poisson process and the corresponding nonhomogeneous compound Poisson process are applied for modelling the road accidents number and number of injured and killed people in the Polish road. To estimate model parameters were used data coming from the annual reports of the Polish police [9, 10]. Constructed models allowed anticipating number of accidents at any time interval with a length of h and the accident consequences. We obtained the expected value of fatalities or injured and the corresponding standard deviation in the given time interval. The statistical distribution of fatalities number in a single accident and statistical distribution of injured people number and also probability distribution of fatalities or injured number in a single accident are computed. It seems that the presented examples explain basic concepts and results discussed in the paper.
