    W artykule przedstawiono tendencje w zakresie informatycznego wspomagania operacyjnego zarządzania produkcją. Omówiono możliwości informatycznego wsparcia realizacji produkcji. Przedstawiono, na przykładzie, problem integracji i wymiany danych między systemami oraz potrzeby i propozycje rozwiązań zarówno dla przebiegu, jak i organizacji produkcji ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem TPP.
    The article presents tendencies in computer aided production operation management. Possibilities of computer supported production implementation have been discussed. Also, there have been presented integration and data exchange problems between systems and needs with possible solutions for both the execution and organization of production with the particular emphasis on TPP.

W artykule wskazano przesłanki, potrzebę, problemy i możliwości informatycznego wspomagania funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych.
    The basis of a well functioning production enterprise is the information flo. Its flowwithout computer aided support would be ineffective. Nowadays it is difficultto imagine a company with no information technology support. The article pointed out reasons, needs, problems and possi-bilities of computer aided functioning of production enterprises.

    Opis:
    Effective management of the company is not the result of the trial and error method, but is based on modern-functioning companies on rational management instruments. They include management methods that are well-tried, logical sets of rules and stages used in the processes of managing human teams. The application of a certain management method in practice can not be accidental. Before executing the implementation decision, the management of an economic organization should: carry out a company's diagnosis in the system: factors influencing the company's success - management results, analyze whether the managerial staff is a critical element of the company's development, define a long-term program for improvement of business management systems, select a bunch of management methods adequate to the specifics of the company. After analyzing the above-mentioned tasks, the basic management method and supporting methods should be selected. The basic method should be total, i.e. applicable to all organizational entities. At the same time, at individual management levels, the so-called a free management space within which it is possible to use other partial management methods.

    Opis:
    The competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) is vital for the European economy. Also, manufacturing is often the core competence of SMEs. Adopting lean philosophy is a viable and popular approach for developing production and enabling continuous improvement. Despite the increased interest in empirical lean research, the body of knowledge about lean manufacturing development in SMEs is currently insufficient. This paper describes a study of a lean development project in a Finnish-based manufacturing SME. A current state analysis and development proposals are presented. The project applies a framework that other SMEs can utilize in identifying their problem areas and creating development proposals for their production activities. The results of the study contribute to the existing body of knowledge in lean manufacturing. In addition, managers in SMEs can utilize the study results as a reference when designing production development projects.
