    Opis:
    We present new evidence against a grammatical distinction between second and third person in Sign Language of The Netherlands (NGT). More precisely, we show how pushing this distinction into the domain of pragmatics helps account for an otherwise puzzling fact about the NGT imperative: not only is it used to command your addressee, it can also express ‘non-addressee-oriented commands’.

    Opis:
    This study consisted of 2 experiments. Experiment 1 examined the effects of hand posture, arm posture and body posture on hand error, while experiment 2 examined the effects of hand posture, breathing type and body posture on hand error. This study showed that more hand errors occurred in the nondominant hand, extended arm, normal breathing and standing compared with errors in the dominant hand, flexed arm, inspire–hold and sitting, respectively. This study advised people to use their dominant hand, flex their arm, inspire and hold the breath and support their body while performing fine manipulation tasks. Finally, hand error varied dramatically across the participants, indicating the need to screen individuals for fine manual manipulation tasks.

    Biskupi bardzo często zajmowali się problemem ubogich. Oprócz postanowień synodalnych, które zawsze musiały mieć zatwierdzenie biskupów jako jedynych prawodawców w diecezji, do obowiązków ich było również wystosowywanie przez nich listów pasterskich dotyczących różnych spraw duszpasterskich, w tym również listy skierowane do wiernych oraz władz zarządzających szpitalami. Pisma te zawierały wskazówki, w jaki sposób należało traktować ubogich czy zajmować się majątkiem szpitalnym i szukali rozwiązań. Wkładali wiele wysiłku w organizowanie pomocy w swych diecezjach.
    The bishops very often dealt with the problem of the poor. In addition to the synodal resolutions, which had to be approved by the bishops as the only legislators in the dioecese, they were also obliged to send pastoral letters regarding various pastoral matters, including letters addressed to the faithful and the authorities managing shelters. These letters contained instructions on how to treat the poor or deal with hospital property. The bishops very often dealt with the problem of the poor. They pointed and sought solutions. They put a lot of effort into organizing help in their dioeceses.
