Wynik pomiaru wraz z niepewnością ma wartości poznawczą, estetyczną i etyczną. Interpretacja wyniku pomiaru jest sądem prawdziwym, zatem wynik ma wartość poznawczą. Wartość estetyczną zawdzięcza wynik pomiaru formie i odpowiedniości. Wartość etyczna wywodzi się z racjonalności wyniku. Platon pojmował piękno szeroko: nie tylko jako wartość estetyczną, ale piękne były dlań także dobro i prawda. Uzasadniono, że równoczesne występowanie w wyniku trzech wartości – i to jest nowością – daje piękno szczególne, szeroko pojęte, kompleksowe, platońskie.
The paper shows that the measurement result together with the uncertainty has cognitive, aesthetic and ethical value. Interpretation of the measurement result is a true judgement, therefore the result has cognitive value. The aesthetic value of the measurement result arises from its form and adequacy. Ethical value is derived from the rationality of the result; rationality is treated as good. Presence of these three values encourages looking at the result of the measurement in the light of Plato's aesthetics. Plato comprehended beauty widely, not only as an aesthetic value, but also the beauty for him was the good and the truth. Justified that the simultaneous occurrence of the following three values – and this is new – it gives a special beauty, broad, comprehensive, Platonic. It was noted that the laws of physics, which are considered to be beautiful in the modern sense, in fact, also carry cognitive and ethical values. These laws can be contemplated in the Platonic way. Imagining in the mind a comprehensive beauty generates a greater admiration for the laws of mathematical and physical sciences and favours the willingness and the passion for knowledge.
