    Opis:
    Theobtaining of heat and electricity from thermal waters fulfills environmental goals to increase the share of energy from renewable energy sources in the total energy consumption. Therefore, investments in energy sector should be one of the priorities in implementation of the State Environmental Policy in Poland. The high investment and operating costs of companies pursuing geothermal projects require support of their activities. The recently introduced changes in legislation and initiatives of non-governmental institutions create an opportunity for development of geothermal energy in Poland.

    Na potrzeby niniejszej pracy założono, że wszystkie stosowane złoża wielofunkcyjne oczyszczają uzdatnianą wodę do wymaganych parametrów przy zastosowaniu jednakowej dla każdej masy pojedynczej kolumny. Celem pracy było porównanie efektywności ekonomicznej dwóch złóż wielofunkcyjnych: Crystal-Right 100 i Ecomix A, używanych do uzdatniania wody. W analizie uwzględniono zakup złoża, zakup urządzeń dodatkowych niezbędnych do pracy złoża, koszty reagentów oraz opłatę środowiskową za pobór wody.
    A properly selected filter material can eliminate the costs associated with the use of chemical reagents needed for the regeneration of beds, it can also eliminate the process of aeration of water during the process, extend the duration of the filtration cycle, as well as time beds technological prowess. The objective of the article was to compare the economic efficiency of the two deposits multifunctional: Crystal-Right 100 and Ecomix A, used for water treatment. Exploitation of multifunctional beds generates a lower unit cost of treatment obtained by using bed Ecomix A.

    Opis:
    In this article the economic indicators of a two-pipe water heating system of a residential building in Ukraine and Poland are identified. It was established that the requirements for the premises in which the heating system is designed in Poland are stricter than the requirements in Ukraine. Most notably, in Poland, the maximum heat transfer coefficient of enclosing structures and the value of indoor air temperatures in residential premises, which should be maintained by the heating system, is lower. This allows the design of heating systems for residential buildings in Poland with a lower heating capacity. However, due to the higher cost of heating equipment and workers' salaries, the economic indicators of a water heating system in Poland is higher than in Ukraine.

    Artykuł zawiera rozważania dotyczące wytycznych, zaleceń i metodyki szacowania kosztów operacyjnych na potrzeby oceny efektywności inwestycji infrastrukturalnych w transporcie kolejowym. Na tle rozważań teoretycznych przedstawiono zróżnicowane podejścia do szacowania tego strumienia pieniężnego oraz ich wpływ na wskaźniki efektywności finansowej i ekonomicznej inwestycji oraz poziom dofinansowania z funduszy UE.
    The paper presents the issues concerning the guidelines and estimation methodology of the operating costs in project appraisal of rail infrastructure investments. On the basis of theoretical deliberations, different approaches to estimating operating costs generated by the project were introduced along with their impact on financial and economic performance indicators and level of EU assistance.

    Opis:
    The aim of this research is to propose particular measures aimed at streamlining costs in terms of operations in a selected company. A specific proposal is based on the concept related to using services of the transport databank. As at least two out of five major carriers of the investigated company resell shipments to other carriers on such portals, the company could reduce the transport costs by entering shipments into the transport databank on its own. One out of three selected providers will be chosen using multi-criteria evaluation methods, specifically, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (hereinafter referred to as AHP) and the Base-criterion method. Determination of the weights of criteria will be carried out using the Saaty method of quantitative pair wise comparison and the Fuller pair wise comparison method. In this paper, the presented methods are applied for the example of a specific company specialized in the manufacture of metal storage racks and steel structures. In the Czech Republic, the company employs 65 employees in production, storage and administration. Based on the analytical evaluation of the current situation of the company, relevant measures will be proposed with a required effect on the effectiveness of such an enterprise.
