Opis:
In electron microscopic studies on structure of the capsule surrounding Trichinella spiralis larva the techniques have been employed which permit demonstration of proteoglycans and collagen fibers at various stages of their formation, i.e. fixation in tannic acid and staining reaction with ruthenium red. The muscle cell has been demonstrated to produce both collagen fibers and glycoproteins plus proteoglycans. The products formed inner part of the capsule, separated from the outer part by the basement membrane. The outer part of the capsule contained collagen fibers and matrix, synthesized by the interstitial tissue cells, by fibroblasts and vascular endothelium cells in particular.

Opis:
In the course of trichinellosis in mice the numerous cells inside larval capsules were observed. Beginning on 14 day post infection (dpi) they were seen in about 7% of infected muscles fibers but at 21 dpi the percentage of capsules with the cells amounted to 77. In the next stage of infection the number of capsules containing cells continued to increase and reach almost 100% at 60 dpi. The identification of the cells was carried out by the indirect immunoenzymatic method using anti-CD4⁺, anti-CD8⁺ and anti-macrophage (Mac-1 antigen) monoclonal antibodies. In course of observation the level of CD4⁺ cells decreased from 11.3 to 0.7, of CD8⁺ from 17.7 to 3.0 and of macrophages from 71.0 to 23.1 %. The most numerous CD4⁺ cells were seen at 14 dpi while the CD8⁺ and macrophages at 21 dpi. Beginning on 28 dpi negatively reacting cells inside larval capsules were also observed. The number of these cells increased from 23.8 to 73.2% at 60 dpi and their identification requires further investigations. The role and the function of all these cells are discussed.

Opis:
Results of micromorphological and histological studies of larvae of Trichinella Spiralis and T. pseudospiralis, as weil as, muscles, liver and small intestine of the rat-host before and after biostimulator administration of phytohemagglutinin and phytoanthelminthic were presented. It has been established that rats with Trichinella larvae of both species developed unspecific allergic angiomyositis, hepatitis, cholangitis, and erosio-haemorrhagic enterocolitis in the host's organism on the 35th day after infection. Furthermore, processes of compensatory hypertrophy, that support the host's (rats) homeostasis, on cell and tissue levels, were observed at histodestructional and morphofunctional deficiency. lt has been revealed that phytohemagglutinin, biostimulator injected into the host's organism before infection, is of immunostimulating nature and partially destroys the larvae of Trichinella. The phytoanthelminthic produces a significant trichinellocide effect: RNA synthesis and glycogen is intensified in the organs of the treated animals, their pathomicromorphogenesis weakened, and their compensatory and regenerative processes were observed. The combined use of the phytohemagglutinin and phytoanthelminthic fails to intensify the mentioned effect.
