Opis:
Multidimensional analysis of hydroacoustic data is usually conducted by way of presentation of the signal information decomposed into dimensions of time and frequency using a short term Fourier transform inform of a spectrogram. Same shortfalls of such visual analysis come into place when studying a signal coming from a source changing its distance from the receiver set because of the variations in the signal strength. The proposed method suggests same ways of such normalization scheme that will diminish the influence of these variations by way multiplication of the spectra by a compensation function dependent of time.

The rate of economic changes and the aging of the population made it necessary to give priority to the importance of lifelong learning (see for example the Lisbon Strategy). The conducted study concerned the demand on courses, trainings and certifications in Poland. This article aims to analyze the educational needs reported by respondents who are in the production age. Our study contains the classification based on sex, education level, type of occupation in relation to whether respondents declare such needs. The research also included the type of courses undertaken and their assessment with respect to the usefulness for further professional life. The proposed approach to this issue may be a substructure of a multidimensional analysis of the situation on the labour market and it may help to identify the factors determining the attractiveness of potential employees from the perspective of employers’ needs.

Opis:
Multidimensional analysis uses various measures for assessing economic effects. However, no single synthetic measure, regardless how popular, can give a satisfactory solution to the above problem. In general, various approaches of combining measures can lead to stable outcomes. Nevertheless, when combining "weak" classifiers one can obtain inevitably poorer classification. We propose here a new approach to construct doubly synthetic measures. The main goal of this work is to analyse the influence these new synthetic measures on the ranking of multidimensional objects.

Jakość produktów handlowych (sortymenty grube i średnie oraz miały węglowe) powstających w cyklu produkcyjnym zależy przede wszystkim od jakości i stanu złóż węglowych, metod urabiania pokładów węglowych i technologii wzbogacania urobku. Wysoka jakość procesów wzbogacania węgla przyczynia się do powstawania lepszych koncentratów, a jakość i stan złóż węglowych, poprzez poprawienie sposobów urabiania pokładów węglowych mogą doprowadzić do zmniejszenia ilości odpadów powstających w kopalni oraz do zmniejszenia obciążenia maszyn i urządzeń ciągu technologicznego zakładu przeróbczego. Wpłynie to na mniejszą awaryjność maszyn i ograniczenia kosztów produkcji węgla. Generalnie rzecz biorąc, rozróżnia się cztery podstawowe układy wzbogacania węgli [12] w zależności od stopnia ich uwęglenia (klasyfikacji węgli), przy czym najbogatszym układem wzbogacania jest układ związany z węglami koksującymi. W pracy zaprezentowano wielowymiarową analizę węgla na przykładzie węgla energetycznego oraz węgla pochodzącego, między innymi, z kopalni "Bielszowice".
Quality of trade products (thick and medium assortments and fine coals) being produced in production cycle depends mainly on quality and state of coal deposits, methods of treating coal fields as well technologies of yield beneficiation. The high quality of coal beneficiation processes causes production of better concentrates and adjustment of quality and state of coal deposits by introduction proper methods of coal fields processing may lead to lowering amounts of wastes produced by mine as well lowering the charge for devices and machines of technological system. This may influence on lower failure rate and limitation of coal production costs. Generally, there are four basic coal beneficiation systems [12] taking into consideration their coal contents (coals classification), while the most complex beneficiation system is the one connected with coking coals. The paper presents the multidimensional analysis of coal on the basis of energetic coal and coal originated, among others, from mine "Bielszowice".

The building of an efficient cadastral system is an important element of the development of the Polish State. It is crucial for a smooth operation of the real estates market - the security and easy of making transactions, registering to a property, planning operations, the introduction of the ad valorem tax on property and more rational use of space. This paper presents the results of a project to compare the performance of cadastral systems internationally, by creating appropriate integrated indicators of cadastral system, using the statistical techniques: technique Friedmana, technique W-Kendalla, factor analysis.

Tourism is an example of the economy branches which are displaying the most dynamic growth. Natural and cultural value of the Krzna River Valley render it suitable for the development of various tourism forms. Until recently, summer tourism was the dominant form but now agritourism has gained popularity, too. The competitiveness of communes located around the Krzna River was conditioned by both the attractiveness of the natural environment and the quality of accommodation facilities. A precise assessment of tourist competitiveness is quite complicated and to a large degree depends on the set of selected variables which reflect the tourist attractiveness of the communes examined.
Badaniami objęto gminy, przez które płynie rzeka Krzna. Dane do analizy zaczerpnięto z Bazy Danych Lokalnych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego za 2015 rok. O konkurencyjności terenów gminnych położonych nad rzeką Krzna decydowały zarówno walory środowiska naturalnego, jak i stan bazy noclegowej. Jednoznaczna ocena atrakcyjności turystycznej jest dosyć skomplikowana i w dużej mierze może być uzależniona od zaproponowanego zbioru zmiennych.

The paper presents a multidimensional analysis of mineral processing feeds consisting of different amounts of different size and density fractions. The considered feed was coal which was screened into size fractions which were subsequently separated into density fractions and their weights determined. The feed material was characterized with commonly used size and density frequency and cumulative distribution plots and next approximated with the Weibull (size) and logistic (density) mathe-matical functions. Having the contribution of each particle size and density fraction in the feed a two–dimensional analysis of the feed size/density properties was performed using two methods. The first one is based on the best chosen cumulative frequency function for two random variables and the second uses the so–called Morgenstern family functions. In the paper the undependability of the particles size and density was investigated using statistical approach based on the so–called Χ2 test, and the correlation between these parameters using the so–called F–Snedecor statistical test. In both cases it was found that particles size and density of the investigated coal particles were dependent what means that with growth of particle size its density grew too and there was correlation between them regardless of significance level assumed for the analysis.

W celu uporządkowania obiektów posłużono się wskaźnikiem Perkala.
The study analyzed the position of Polish terms, the state of the environment in European Union countries. The survey was conducted in the EU countries in the period 2000-2013. You attempted to create a ranking of countries in terms of the environment. 8 selected diagnostic features describing the state in terms of the environment. In order to sort the objects were used one of the methods of multidimensional comparative analysis.

W artykule poruszony został problem z zakresu analizy wielowymiarowej i jej oceny danych dotyczących ceny jednego metra kwadratowego powierzchni mieszkalnej w Polsce. Badania wykonano w trzech etapach. W etapie pierwszym przeprowadzono analizę i ocenę szeregu czasowego pierwotnego dotyczącego ceny jednego metra kwadratowego powierzchni mieszkalnej w Polsce w ujęciu dynamicznym. W drugim i trzecim etapie wielowymiarowej analizy przeprowadzono grupowanie danych. Zmienną grupującą były lata, kwartały i na ich podstawie przeprowadzono analizę i jej ocenę. Przeprowadzona ocena wielowymiarowej analizy jest przesłanką do poprawnego doboru metody prognozowania na przyszłość.
In this article the author raises the issue related to the multidimensional analysis and its evaluation of data concerning the price of one square metre of a flat in Poland. The research was conducted in three stages. During the first stage, the analysis and evaluation of original time series were done in relation to the price of one square metre of living space in Poland dynamically. During the second and third stage of the multidimensional analysis, the grouping of data was done. The grouping variable comprised years, quarters and on the basis of them the analysis and its evaluation were conducted. The conducted evaluation of multidimensional analysis is a premise for the choice of forecasting method for the future.

W artykule przeprowadzono wielowymiarową analizę porównawczą i ocenę danych dotyczącą długości torów kolejowych w dwudziestu siedmiu państwach Europy w latach 2007-2017. Pierwszym etapem badań było pogrupowanie danych pierwotnych. Wyodrębniono dwie grupy: państwa i lata. Obie grupy zostały poddane analizie i ocenie z wykorzystaniem wielu statystycznych narzędzi badawczych do których zaliczono: wykresy ramka-wąsy, średnich arytmetycznych, odchyleń standardowych, histogramy i wykresy normalności. Oceną jest zaobserwowanie tendencji i cech niewidzialnych z punktu oceny samych danych surowych.
In this article the authors conducted the multidimensional comparative analysis and the evaluation of data concerning the length of railway lines in twenty seven European countries between 2007-2017. The first stage of research was the grouping of original data. Two groups were isolated: countries and years. Both groups were analyzed and evaluated with the application of various research tools: box-and-whisker, arithmetic means, standard deviations, histograms and normality charts.. The evaluation is the observation of a trend and invisible characteristics in the context of raw data evaluation only.

Celem artykułu jest analiza, na przykładzie Polski, związku między stabilnością finansową a makroekonomiczną. Opracowanie ma teoretyczno-empiryczny charakter. Najpierw omówiono definicje i metody pomiaru stabilności finansowej i makroekonomicznej. Następnie przedstawiono przedmiot, zakres czasowy badania i metodę badawczą. W ostatniej części zawarto wyniki analizy relacji między stabilnością finansową a makroekonomiczną. Analiza literatury doprowadziła do wniosku o braku jednorodności w definiowaniu oraz mierzeniu obu rodzajów stabilności. Warto podkreślić, że o ile w definiowaniu stabilności finansowej podkreśla się jej istotną rolę w kształtowaniu stabilności gospodarczej, to na poziomie definicji stabilności makroekonomicznej kwestia stabilności systemu finansowego jest często pomijana. Przeprowadzone badanie nie potwierdziło istnienia wpływu sytuacji systemu finansowego na stabilność makroekonomiczną, natomiast został potwierdzony związek odwrotny, tzn. stan koniunktury gospodarczej przekłada się na stabilność systemu finansowego.
The aim of the article is to analyze the relationship between financial and macroeconomic stability in the Polish economy. The article has a theoretical and empirical character. In the first part the definitions and the methods of measuring the financial and macroeconomic stability are described. Then the subject, time range of the conducted research are presented, as well as the applied research method. The results of an empirical analysis of the bilateral relationship between financial and macroeconomic stability are contained at the end of the article. The conducted analysis of the literature leads to a conclusion that there is no uniformity in defining and measuring financial and macroeconomic stability. The conducted research confirms the existence of impact of the economic situation on the stability of the Polish financial system, while the reverse relationship, the impact of the situation in the financial system on the macroeconomic stability of Poland, has not been confirmed.

The most frequently analyzed aspects of diversification and dynamics of tax systems are their structure and its impact on economic parameters such as economic growth or unemployment. In this paper, however, attention has been paid to the compliance of tax systems with tax principles. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to assess the functioning of the tax systems of selected EU countries in relation to the tax principles that were proposed by Adam Smith and for years have been the subject of extensive discussion. For each of the four classic tax principles, measures were proposed to assess their fulfillment. This allowed us to create a ranking of EU countries in terms of fulfilling these principles. A synthetic development measure method was used for this purpose.
Najczęściej analizowanym aspektem zróżnicowania i dynamiki systemów podatkowych jest ich struktura oraz wpływ na takie parametry ekonomiczne, jak wzrost gospodarczy czy poziom bezrobocia. W niniejszym artykule zwrócono uwagę natomiast na przestrzeganie zasad podatkowych, które od czasów A. Smitha stanowią instytucjonalne ramy opodatkowania. Stąd też celem opracowania jest ocena funkcjonowania systemów podatkowych wybranych państw UE w odniesieniu do formułowanych w literaturze zasad podatkowych. Dla każdej z czterech klasycznych zasad podatkowych zaproponowano miary pozwalające na ocenę ich wypełniania. Pozwoliło to stworzyć ranking krajów Unii Europejskiej z punktu widzenia wypełniania tych zasad. Wykorzystano w tym celu syntetyczny miernik rozwoju.

The paper presents a scheme of conducting ANOVA, which can be a statistical method using for the analysis of various complex phenomena in different fields of science. It is mainly focused on presentation of different areas of application at statistical model, especially in mineral engineering. Selected experiments in which ANOVA was used successfully to study the process of flotation and proper-ties of three types of coal are presented in this study. Mineral resources are characterized by different properties and the flotation process depends on many factors which must be carefully controlled to obtain an expected separation efficiency of the process under industrial conditions. These facts determine the complexity of mineral processing structure. This choice of ANOVA was dictated by the adjustment of methodology to the nature of the analyzed phenomena. Based on this analysis it can be stated that the analysis of variance is appropriate to consider problems associated with the mineral engineering. The examples described in the paper confirmed a high potential which ANOVA carries. However, it should be noted that the one-dimensional analysis of variance has some limitations.

Opis:
The paper presents a damage identification method of technical objects with the use of multidimensional analyses. The studied objects were rolling bearings tested on a laboratory test stand as well as vehicle wheel rims. The rims were examined by an Automated Tester. A group of variables describing the condition of the bearings included basic parameters of acceleration signal such as: RMS, peak value, functions describing the envelope of vibration spectrum and additionally the experimental coefficient of friction for the oscillatory motion. Diagnostic measurements data can be input into the proposed mathematical models and compared with a database of cases of the object technical states. Results of the multidimensional analysis of diagnostic parameters are presented in the form of diagrams (cluster trees). On this basis, the technical condition of the tested object can be easily interpreted. The proposed models supported the classification of wheel rims into groups characterized by similar frequencies and amplitude based on shock tests.
