    Opis:
    The article begins by recalling the most important understandings associated with the term prudence in the history of philosophy.Then it introduces the Aristotelian concept of prudence linked to practical truth—prudence seen in contrast to wisdom and knowledge of manufacturing. The article discusses various forms of rational knowledge associated with the right will, and proves the need of linking prudence to all the other ethical virtues based on moral principles. It emphasizes the problem of how to relate general principles to specific actions which involve particular goods. For resolving this problem, the article refers to Aristotle who sees the solution in political ethics which has a significant impact on individual behavior; consequently, good law and proper education are considered to be necessary conditions which allow to form the moral judgment skills for providing a morally good life. The article concludes with the claim that the proper field to capture the specificity of prudence includes the theory of human action and that of human morality.

    Opis:
    Treścią artykułu jest „integracja w moralności ludzkiej”. Założeniem badawczym jest to, że człowiek nie może się w pełni rozwijać i doskonalić, a tym samym w pełni integrować, bez właściwego rozwoju moralnego. Wszystko zaczyna się od „odkrywania” własnej, ludzkiej tożsamości i odpowiedzialności za siebie i innych. Bez tego nie może być mowy o sensownej integracji. Z moralnego punktu widzenia to moralność decyduje o nieustannej formacji ludzkich sumień w prawdzie. Sokrates określał to mianem „etosu akuszerki”, ponieważ podobnie jak w narodzinach, tak i w moralności nikt człowieka nie może zastąpić. Doskonalenie sumienia w prawdzie i zgodnie z prawdą ukazuje nam to, iż integracja nie może się odbywać „poza” życiem moralnym człowieka. I tak najpierw widzimy integrację osoby poprzez rozwój osobistego sumienia. W moralności zaś społecznej integrujemy się etycznie we wszystkich więzach rodzinnych. Możemy mówić także słusznie o integracji poprzez moralność pracy, moralność zawodową, poprzez moralność ludzi mediów itp. Najczęstszymi przejawami prawdziwego życia moralnego jest uczestnictwo ludzi w kulturze i poprzez kulturę. Podobnie jak kultura, również moralność jest sprawą na wskroś ludzką. I tu, i tu wizja człowieka odgrywa zatem rolę podstawową. Na tej też płaszczyźnie rysuje się perspektywa pozytywnego oddziaływania moralności na kulturę. Możliwości są tu poważne, bo chodzi o szerokie działanie integracyjne, a co ważniejsze, o działanie zachodzące od wewnątrz procesów rozwojowych w kulturze. Punktem wyjścia tej integracji jest uznanie niezbywalnej godności człowieka jako osoby.
    The content of this article is “integration in human morality”. The research presupposition is that man cannot fully develop and improve, and thus fully integrate, without a proper moral development. This starts with “discovering” own human identity and responsibility for themselves and others. Without this there can be no meaningful integration. From a moral point of view – morality determines the constant formation of human consciences in the truth. Socrates described it like “the ethos of the midwife”, because, as in birth, so in morality, a man could be replaced with anything else. Improvement of conscience in truth and according to truth shows us that the integration cannot be done “outside” of the moral life of man. And so – first we see the integration of people through the development of personal conscience. The moral and social integrate ethically in all family ties. We also speak rightly of integration through work ethics, professional morality of people through the media, etc. The most common manifestations of true moral life is the participation of the people in the culture and through culture. Similarly, like the culture, the morality is a matter of human vision of a man and therefore plays here and there a fundamental role. On this plane also draws the prospect of a positive impact on the culture by morality. The starting point of this integration is the recognition of the inalienable dignity as a person.

    Honesty allows man to live in the truth, that is, to know the true values and implement them in man’s life. Honesty is therefore the spiritual force in man, which allows him to properly refer to values and their hierarchy in the spirit of the constantly acquired truth. The aim of the analyses presented in the article is an attempt to show honesty in a varied splendor of truth, i.e., to show honesty as a moral condition sine qua non of learning and living the truth and at the same time revealing the truth as the foundation of being honest. We try to justify the thesis that only through inner integrity and honesty man can discover the truth about man’s human dignity and the dignity of another man and, according to this truth, shape his conscience and be guided by it.

    Jan Paweł II przypomniał w siedzibie UNESCO w Paryżu dnia 2 czerwca 1980 roku, że kultura moralna jest pierwszym i podstawowym wymiarem każdej autentycznej kultury będącej „właściwym kształtem życia człowieka jako takiego”. Młody człowiek powinien nabywać kulturę moralną m.in. na drodze edukacji, tzn. kształcenia i wychowania. Ważnym elementem w tej pracy jest etyczny namysł nad życiem i działaniem człowieka. Jednak nie każda etyka (model etyczny, kierunek etyczny) służy wspomnianemu procesowi. Proponowany artykuł prezentuje główne idee etyki normatywnej w odniesieniu do kultury moralnej w myśli filozoficzno-teologicznej Karola Wojtyły – św. Jana Pawła II.
    John Paul II reminded in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on 2nd June 1980 that moral culture is the first and basic dimension of each authentic culture which is “the right shape of man’s life itself.” A young person should acquire the moral culture inter alia in the way of education i.e. instruction and upbringing. An ethical reflection on life and a person’s activity is an important element in this thesis. However, not every ethics (ethical model, ethical direction) favours the mentioned process. The suggested article presents the main ideas of the normative ethics in reference to the moral culture in the theological and philosophical thought of Karol Wojtyła – St. John Paul II.
