    Opis:
    In the background monitoring areas (small wooded catchments) agricultural pollution is negligible and the atmosphere is the only source of widescale pollution. We review the chemical compositions in the soil profiles of Auk?taitija, Dzukija and ?emaitija in Lithuania. We describe also trends in groundwater level fluctuations, the chemical composition of groundwater in 1994-1999, compare the chemical and physical properties of runoff water and show results of the simulation of successive data series of soil water flow and soil moisture saturation at different depths by the SOIL model. The simulation results may be used to evaluate water movement and element mobility in the soil.

    W artykule przedstawiono najnowocześniejsze tendencje w zakresie wykorzystania symulacji komputerowej w procesie opracowywania nowych rozwiązań, w tym również rozwiązań w branży odlewniczej. Opisano działanie Zintegrowanego Systemu Modelowania Materiałów i Procesów Inżynierskich (ang. Integrated Computational Materials Engineering – ICME) zaakceptowanego w roli wiodącego narzędzia w opracowywaniu nowych materiałów, konstrukcji oraz technologii w przemyśle lotniczym, motoryzacyjnym, okrętowym, energetyce w USA oraz w Unii Europejskiej. Prześledzono funkcjonowanie zintegrowanego systemu w procesie opracowywania konstrukcji odlewanej przez modelowanie stanów naprężeń podczas pracy odlewu, modelowanie właściwości stopu oraz samej technologii. Przedstawiono zagrożenia i korzyści ze stosowania systemu.
    This article presents the latest tendencies within the scope of the application of computer simulation in the process of developing new solutions, including solutions in foundry practice. The functioning of Integrated Computational Materials Engineering is described, which is regarded as a leading tool for developing new materials, constructions and technologies in aerospace, automotive and maritime industries in the USA and the European Union. The functioning of ICME was studied in the process of developing a cast construction by modelling stresses of the cast at work, modelling alloy properties and the technology itself. Threats and benefits resulting from the application of ICME are also presented.

    The Peynin catchment (15 km2) is prone to catastrophic floods (June 1957 – Recurrence Interval R.I.>100 yr), June 2000 (R.I.-30 yr) with serious damages to infrastructure and buildings located at the outlet. In this paper, PIT tags tracers and Vensim modelling software are used to better assess the sediment delivery unsteadiness, and more specifically to evaluate the respective role of geomorphological processes on sediment supply during flood event. For the last 20 years, our results highlight a significant variability in sediment delivery from a tributary to another one. According to our studies, we suppose that two torrential tributaries of the Peynin river, the Peyronnelle and Three Arbres subcatchments (<2 km2, representing <15% of the Peynin catchment area) are responsible of 80% of the sediments observed at the outlet of the catchment. Several processes take a part of these sediment transfers, but the efficiency of the sediment cascade in this catchment can be explained by a strong connectivity between sediment erosion area and the main channel of the catchment. Debris and torrential flows triggered during high intensity meteorological event are actually effectively coupled in space and time and guarantee an important sediment supply able to reload the downstream part of the sediment cascade. Recent climate trends, marked by extremes, suggest consequently more damaging events to come, in a context of increasing vulnerable assets.

    The article is dedicated to urgent problem of reconsideration of methodological content of possibilities of variative modelling of personality development in the existing social space. Perspective of approval of system-and-integrated paradigm of interpretation of psychic phenomena, which allow to comprehend specificity of non-linear modelling of modern human being’s personal profile in terms of multifactor and diverse social and cultural influences, as postnonclassical basis of investigations of personality development was proved. Principles of existential and humanitarian anthropology, methodological settings of structuralism and social constructivism, methodological measurements of postmodernism have been chosen as implicated determinants of the concept of modeling personality constructs. The author regards personality constructs modelling as an act of continuous formation and transformation of subjective psychic reality – unique model (image, concept) of personal measurements of social and cultural space
    Artykuł poświęcony jest rzeczywistym problemom przemyślenia metodologicznej zmiennej wartości, możliwości modelowania jednostki w zmieniającym się środowisku społecznym. Udowodniono prognozujące potwierdzenie jako podstawę postklasycznego badania rozwoju osobistego systemu – integracyjnego paradygmatu interpretacji zjawisk psychicznych, co pozwala zrozumieć specyfikę modelowania nieliniowego profilu osobowości współczesnego człowieka w wieloczynnikowym i wielokierunkowym wpływie społeczno-kulturowym. Proces modelowania autorskiego konstruktu osobistego występuje jako akt tworzenia transformacji subiektywnej rzeczywistości psychicznej. Jest on unikalnym modelem osobowego wymiaru przestrzeni społeczno-kulturowej
