Opis:: This article concerns the issue of modernization of the manufacturing system of national enterprises by implementing modern information technologies. The analysis of the need for the industrial transformation of Ukraine at the macro level has been conducted. The role of modernization of the manufacturing structure of the enterprise is determined. Changes in technology have significant influence on the transformation of enterprise management system. The role of modern information systems in management of technological processes is analyzed. Effective Enterprise Management System (EMS) shall harmoniously combine diverse targeted components into the new competitive socioeconomic system. Changes in areas of EMS improvement during the process of formation of information infrastructure are shown in this research. MES system is a key element of the overall enterprise information structure; it is able to meet the challenges of the manufacturing sphere. The existing barriers to the development of production systems for national enterprises are also analyzed and summarized.

Opis:: This paper investigates a production system configuration with respect to the use of technological machines that make part of this system. The investigation involved the design of a reconfigurable production system for manufacturing shafts. Based on input data, the number of necessary technological machines (machine tools) is defined, system configurations ensuring the required rate of production yield are developed and selected solutions (configurations) are analyzed. The production system was assessed based on numerical simulation results obtained with Enterprise Dynamics.

Opis:: W pracy zaprezentowano proces wdrożenia w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym branży mechanicznej, elementów systemu produkcyjnego zorganizowanego według zasad Lean Manufacturing (LM). Ogólnie scharakteryzowano wybrane metody i narzędzia wykorzystywane w tym procesie (np. system 5S) oraz ich implementację w warunkach prezentowanego przedsiębiorstwa. Przedstawiono również uzyskane na etapie wdrażania koncepcji Lean Manufacturing rezultaty w zakresie wzrostu efektywności i opłacalności produkcji oraz poprawy jakości wytwarzanych wyrobów. W podsumowaniu zawarto uwagi dotyczące praktycznych działań i trudności związanych z wdrożeniem systemu Lean Manufacturing.
Lean Manufacturing is one of the most recent and popular concepts of the improvement the production enterprises in the case of manufacturing processes. It makes it possible to cut down the time of production cycles, increase the quality of products, reduce production costs, and increase morale, productivity, and engagement of the staff. The main tools of Lean Manufacturing, among others, are the 5S System, Kaizen, the Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Value Stream Mapping, Total Quality Management (TQM), and Just in Time (JiT). The intention of the author was to describe the process of practical application in productive enterprise and the productive system guided according to principles of the Lean Manufacturing. The paper also characterises the selected methods, techniques, and process tools that were used in this concept and their implementation in conditions of chosen enterprise. The paper also presents the results in the range of the growth of efficiency production and the improvement of production quality on the stage of the practical application of the Lean Manufacturing conception.
