    Since the trends of adverse climate change and integrated urban water management have continued in the twenty-first century, governments and other institutions seek reliable predictions as water resource requirements arise. Although uncertainty is never cut off from the need for a probabilistic movement, through current developments in science and the technology of hydrological modeling on urban water management analysis, researchers can improve the ability to create realistic scenarios that will benefit the water sector it adapts to these changes. Model studies on the combined effects of climate change and the water sector have found that the change can be significant, depending on scenarios and the assumptions of climate change, as well as the degree of urban development. In this work, conceptual analysis of urban water management has been applied to several scenarios of climate change in order to obtain new insights and uncertainties.

    The task of controlling the development of the technical-economic system of agricultural production (TESAP) as the only cross-functional business process is carried out. The methodological approach to its solution is proposed, based on the use of marketing research methods and construction of a complex of interrelated models of market-oriented technological options for the development of TESAP and financial schemes of realization. Different ways of interaction of the optimization and simulation models in the complex are considered.

    Opis:
    Hoteling data centers are designated for housing computing and storage units of many, usually small customers, as opposed to traditional data centers supporting own computing and storage resources of a bigger company. One of the services to be provided to consumer’s equipment is cooling. Cooling in data centers is prevalently achieved by circulating air in computer room. Efficient cooling requires delivering cold air from central cooling units directly to the equipment that needs it, in appropriate quantity, and at the right time. But with centralized cooling, hot spots and cold spots arise in computer room, caused by uneven, uncontrolled heat generation. The proposed active cold air flow management is to periodically input data from sensors into a model which calculates parameters at every floor localization based on measurements taken at the most reliable measurement locations. Such model has been created and verified by implementation in an industrial data center.
    Centra danych świadczące usługi kolokacji oferują przestrzeń fizyczną i infrastrukturę do działania sprzętu obliczeniowego małych klientów, w odróżnieniu od tradycyjnych centrów danych obsługujących zasoby własnej, większej firmy. Jedną z usług świadczonych klientom jest usługa chłodzenia ich sprzętu. Najczęstszą metodą chłodzenia w centrach danych jest obieg powietrza chłodzącego w serwerowni. Efektywne chłodzenie polega jednak na tym, by doprowadzać chłodne powietrze z centralnych jednostek chłodzących do odpowiedniej lokalizacji w serwerowni, we właściwej ilości, i we właściwym czasie. Stosowanie centralnych jednostek chłodzących bez dodatkowych zabiegów skutkuje jednak powstawaniem w serwerowni miejsc przegrzanych i miejsc przechłodzonych. Proponowane rozwiązanie aktywnego zarządzania powietrzem chłodzącym polega na modelowaniu parametrów w każdej lokalizacji serwerowni na podstawie pomiarów dokonywanych periodycznie w miejscach serwerowni oferujących najbardziej niezawodne wyniki. Stosowny model został opracowany i zweryfikowany poprzez wdrożenie w jednym z przemysłowych centrów danych.

    Individual-tree models of basal area growth and density were developed for seven plantation species in swamp forest zone of Rivers State, Nigeria. Tree growth data were collected from pure permanent sample plots of seven plantation species within the study area with measurements of diameter at breast height (cm), diameter at the base (cm), total height of tree (m), and also the number of tree per plot was taken and obtained from plantation records. The Quantitative data collected from these selected plantation species were subjected to descriptive analysis, correlation and regression analyses. Linearized models for description of relationship between BA and other growth attributes were developed. The results of the major growth variables by species in the study area showed that Treculia africana has the highest dbh mean value 30.804 ±2.031 (cm) with density 0.0022 and basal area per hectare 1.79×10–4 (m2). Similarly, the results also showed that Nauclea dedirrichii has the lowest dbh mean value 08.484 ±0.339 (cm) with basal area 3.92×10–5 (m2) and density 0.0063 per hectare. The results of correlation analyses showed general associations between basal area and the growth attributes by species with coefficients of correlation ranging from –0.023 to 0.999. The results similarly revealed distinct variations by species in density, basal area and tree number in the study area. The results of relationship between basal area and other growth variables showed significant model fit (best fit) with diameter attributes with model order: LNBA = b0 + b1lnDb + b2Dbh2 in Enthandrophragma angolense (R2 - 0.964, RSME – 0.837). The results of the study revealed that there were significant variations in the growth attributes by species in the study area; with significant associations between the basal area and major growth variables evaluated in the study, while the selected best adjudged fit model in the study area could be reasonably used for predicting basal area which is critical in cubical volume estimation and sustainable management of the study area.
