Opis:
The vocation to parenthood is one of the basic tasks of the spouses. In the modern world marital infertility is one of the ever more common problems affecting married couples. On the other hand, ever more often we encounter situations, in which parents, especially single mothers, do not want to raise their children. The meeting of the needs of people in both these situations makes the so-called unwanted or rejected children get a chance to find parental love and a family home by means of adoption. The article tackles the issue of adoption present in the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church. It indicates that accepting a born child to the family through adoption is a requirement of the spouses' fertile love, but also a Christian fulfillment of the commandment of love, the service to life and a way to preach the “Gospel of life” by means of acts of love given to the most needy child. Adoption is not an easy thing, an event that happens once, but it amounts to saying “yes” to love; it is accepting a certain way of life, in which serving another man and Christ present in the “least” man is the first and supreme aim of adoptive parents' life. It is also worth stressing that the necessity to shape and create mentality serves a man not as something exceptional, but exactly as the style of life of Christian spouses.

Evangelischer Erwachsener Katechismus (“Ewangelicki katechizm dla dorosłych”) w sześciu punktach uczy o małżeństwie: (1) zawarcie małżeństwa i ślub, (2) czym jest małżeństwo?, (3) co należy do małżeństwa?, (4) jakie istnieją formy małżeństwa?, (5) rozwód, (6) małżeństwa różne wyznaniowo. „Katechizm” wychodzi z obserwacji, że małżeństwo występuje we wszystkich narodach i religiach, jak i w różnych porządkach prawnych. Małżeństwo było zasadzone już w porządku stworzenia. Bóg stworzył człowieka jako mężczyznę i kobietę. Sam ustanowił małżeństwo, nadając mu tym samym wiążący charakter. Rzeczywistość małżeństwa jest obrazem relacji, jaką Chrystus ma do Kościoła.  Gdy małżonkowie z wiarą opierają się na tej prawdzie i dana im jest w formie ślubu kościelnego Boża obietnica, realizuje się małżeństwo jako wspólnota życia ustanowiona przez Boga, wyłączna i trwała.
Evangelischer Erwachsener Katechismus (“The Protestant Catechism for Adults”) considers marriage in the six points: (1) civil marriage and church marriage, (2) what marriage is?, (3) what does refer to the marriage?, (4) what kind of marriage does exist?, (5) a divorce, (6) mixted marriages. The “Catechism” acknowledges in the very beginning, that the institution of marriage refers to all nations and religions and from the law’s perspective has been driven by different rules and orders. According to the Bible, marriage has been rooted in the act and the order of creation. Human beings were created as man and woman. A reciprocal relationship written in the very nature of man and woman let to recognise that married state and its binding character had been created by God himself.

This dialogue of love reflecting the relation between the Persons of the Holy Trinity and the dialogue of love of Christ-Bridegroom with the Church, His Spouse, is one of the foundations on the path of the development of spiritual life in matrimony and family.

Die Geschichte der Menschheit verläuft ebenso wie die menschliche Heilsgeschichte durch die Familie. Darum stellt die Familie unter den vielen Wegen der Kirche den ersten und in vielerlei Hinsicht auch den besten Weg dar. Selbst wenn sich jemand dafür entschieden hat allein zu leben, bleibt die Familie doch sein existenzieller Horizont als diejenige Gemeinschaft, auf der das gesamte Leben basiert. Die wichtigste Aufgabe der Familie im Rahmen ihres Mitwirkens an einer Zivilisation der Liebe besteht offensichtlich darin, den Begriff der Elternschaft in einem vertieften Sinn zu verstehen. Im vorliegenden Artikel wurde das Problem aufgegriffen, dass die Elternschaft die Realisierung der göttlichen Berufung sein muss und welche Konsequenzen sich daraus für die Erziehung ergeben. Zunächst wurde dargelegt, wie die christliche Berufung im Allgemeinen zu verstehen ist, bevor in diesem Licht die Berufung zu einem Leben in Ehe und Familie betrachtet wurde. Im Anschluss daran wurde erläutert, dass die Berufung zu einem Leben in Ehe und Familie ein Geschenk aber auch eine Aufgabe darstellt. Dagegen bezieht sich der letzte Punkt auf die elterliche Liebe, die ihren Ausdruck auf ganz unterschiedliche Weise als mütterliche oder väterliche Liebe finden kann.

Artykuł w swojej części teoretycznej prezentuje zamieszczone w „Programie Katechezy Parafialnej Młodzieży Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych”, zagadnienia, które należy omówić w katechezach parafialnych (nr 1) oraz akcentuje znaczenie celebracji liturgicznych w katechezie (nr 2). Natomiast w części praktycznej (nr 3) podaje konkretne celebracje liturgiczne, stanowiące duże wsparcie dla wybranych zagadnień, które są zaproponowane do omawiania we wspomnianych  katechezach parafialnych. 
This paper, in its theoretical part, depicts some questions contained in the Program Katechezy Parafialnej Młodzieży Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych (“Programme of Parochial Catechesis for Secondary School Students”). They should be discussed at parochial catecheses (1). It also stresses the significance of liturgical celebrations in the catechesis (2). In its practical part (3) it provides concrete liturgical celebrations. They are considerable support for some questions that are proposed at parochial catecheses.

Ojciec święty Benedykt XVI w liście apostolskim Porta fidei zapowiadającym rok wiary w Kościele zwrócił uwagę, że rodzina jest jednym z podstawowych miejsc, w których człowiek może wzrastać w wierze, dzielić się wiarą i rozwijać swoją relację z Jezusem Chrystusem. Rodzina jest bowiem środowiskiem najbardziej bezpiecznym. U jej podstaw jest bowiem relacja miłości pozwalająca dzielić się swoimi doświadczeniami, nawet najbardziej intymnymi, a wiarą, jest takim właśnie doświadczeniem. Szczególną rolę odgrywają w rodzinnym przekazie wiary rodzice, którzy na mocy sakramentu małżeństwa mają rozwijać swoją wiarę, a prosząc o sakrament chrztu świętego dla dzieci mają być dla nich pierwszymi zwiastunami i świadkami wiary. Ważnym elementem dzielenia się wiarą jest autentyzm jej przeżywania w wypełnianiu codziennych rodzinnych obowiązków oraz międzypokoleniowa wymiana doświadczeń wiary – świadectwo osobistego spotkania z Jezusem Chrystusem wobec członków rodziny.
In his Apostolic Letter Porta fidei announcing the Year of Faith in the Church the Holy Father Benedict XVI pointed out that the family is one of the basic places, in which a man can grow up in faith, share his faith and develop his relation to Jesus Christ. It is so, because the family is the safest environment, as the relation of love that allows one to share his experiences, even the most intimate ones – and faith is such an experience – is at its foundations. In the family message of faith a special role is played by the parents, who, on the strength of the sacrament of marriage, are supposed to develop their faith, and asking for the sacrament of holy baptism for their children should be the first heralds and witnesses of faith for them. Authenticity of experiencing faith in performing everyday family duties is an important element of sharing faith; it is a testimony about a personal encounter with Jesus Christ offered to the family members.

Als Schöpfung Gottes hat der christliche Ehebund verschiedene Ziele. In der Sicht von Martin Luther kann man über drei wichtigsten Ehezielen sprechen. Das erste und zweite Ziel bilden, ähnlich wie in der katholischen Kirche, die Nachkommenschaft (die prokreative Funktion der Ehe) und die gegenseitige Hilfe der Ehegatten. Neues in der lutherischen Eheethik (im 16. Jahrhundert) ist die sehr positive und offene Ansicht über den Sexualtrieb, den man jedoch nur in der Ehe befriedigen darf (matrimonium – remedium et medicina). Laut Luther ist noch das dritte Ziel des Ehestandes – nämlich das Kreuztragen (ferre crucem). Dieses Ziel ist stark mit der reformatorischen Theologie verbunden, in der das Kreuz, der Beruf, die Liebe und der Glaube die wichtigsten Elemente bilden.

Opis:
The challenges that pastoral care in Poland has to face today are not less numerous than at the time when it was established several dozen years ago. It seems that we should begin our survey of these challenges from inidicating a group of challenges that may be called challenges to marraige and family. Here we find that the structure of marriage as a relationship between heterosexual persons: a husband and wife is more and more commonly questioned; marriage is questioned as the foundation of family; the processes of marital disintegration increase, divorces and remarriages; free unions that last for years. The causes for this group of challenges as ideaological or practical. Another group of challenges consists of separation due to economic reasons, mainly going abroad to work. This causes the increasing process of marrital disintegration, rapid growth of social orphans, old parents and often ill are left unattended by their adult emigrating children. It follows from job problems that the competitive model of interpersonal relations is extrapolated on the marrital bond. We have to add the issues of psychological and physical violence in the family, abortion and calls to legalise euthanasia. A further group of challenges consists of those related to sexual activity. Contraceptive mentality and practices are popular, the phenomenon of marrital infertility is increasing, life is conceived beyond its natural and marrital milieu. In view of the above challenges, pastoral care for families in Poland should change its legal-moral categories of marriage and family iinto sociological and theological, it should purify the image of God from its anthropomorphic elements. It depends much on this image that man can understand himself and build his marrital relationship. Another important issue is to link theological knowledge and adequate aspects of the particular sciences. This link must be methodologically correct in pastoral care. Theological knowledge shows a model of marriage and family, whereas the particular sciences provide practical solutions how to accomplish this model. All this calls for an ordering of basic concepts of marriage and family, as there is much disorder there. Eventually, such actions should bring about milieus of support for the family that would make it easier to defend the principal Christian values.

Doświadczenie miłości jest jednym z podstawowych doświadczeń człowieka, które stanowi o jego szczęściu i spełnieniu. Każdy człowiek poszukuje miłości, pragnie być nią obdarowany i nią obdarowywać. Często jednak napotyka na trudności w poznaniu prawdy o tym, czym jest miłość, zadawalając się jej namiastkami, fałszywym rozumieniem, spłyceniem jej tylko do uczucia, a nawet egoizmu. A tymczasem prawda o miłości wskazuje, że jest ona piękna, daje człowiekowi szczęście, pozwala na jego rozwój, gdy stawia wymagania. W sposób szczególny dotyczy to miłości małżeńskiej, która ma stać na straży trwałości i nierozerwalności małżeństwa, bycia z sobą do końca życia oraz odpowiedzialności za przekazanie życia dzieciom. Prawdę o pięknie i wymaganiach miłości ukazał nam Jezus Chrystus, a najpełniej zrealizowali małżonkowie z Nazaretu – Maryja i Józef. Tę prawdę o pięknie, trudzie i wymaganiach stawianych przez miłość ukazano w artykule poprzez analizę nauczania Jana Pawła II, skierowanego zwłaszcza do młodych i do małżonków, w których wskazuje on, że miłość jest piękna właśnie poprzez to, że stawia wymagania, wymagania te zaś są skierowane najpierw do osoby kochającej. Miłość jest bowiem bezwarunkowa i kocha się drugą osobę nie przez to, co może ona dać, ale ze względu na wartość samej osoby. Taka bezwarunkowa, wymagająca i tym samym piękna miłość stoi także na straży godności człowieka – tego, który jest kochany, i tego, który kocha.
The experience of love is one of the basic human experiences that make him happy and fulfilled. Every person is looking for love, wants to be given it and give it. However, he often encounters difficulties in learning the truth about what love is, contenting himself with its substitutes, false understanding, reducing it only to feeling and even selfishness. Meanwhile, the truth about love shows that love is beautiful, gives a person happiness, allows him to develop when it makes demands. This applies in particular to conjugal love, which is to safeguard the permanence and indissolubility of marriage, being together for the rest of one's life, and responsibility for handing over life to children. Christ showed us the truth about the beauty and demands of love, and the spouses of Nazareth — Mary and Joseph — were fully realized. In the article, the Author shows this truth about beauty, toil and requirements of love by analyzing the teachings of John Paul II, directed especially to young people and spouses, in which he shows that love is beautiful precisely by setting requirements, and these requirements first they are aimed at a loving person. Love is unconditional and you love another person not because of what they can give, but because of the value of the person himself. Such unconditional, demanding and thus beautiful love also protects the dignity of man – the one who is loved and the one who loves.

Zaprezentowana w artykule literalna analiza tekstów prawnych, wsparta analizą protokołów komisji kodyfikacyjnej (ukazującą zamysł prawodawcy) oraz systemu prawa kościelnego, skłania do sformułowania wniosku, że wszystkie normy Kodeksu prawa kanonicznego z 1983 roku zawierające odniesienie do podziału przeszkód małżeńskich na tajne i publiczne należy interpretować w zgodzie z normą zapisaną w kan. 1074 KPK 1983. Tym samym, gdy mowa w nich jest o przeszkodach publicznych, nie jest istotne ich rozgłoszenie (notitia/divulgatio), ale możliwość ich udowodnienia na forum zewnętrznym zgodnie z zasadami prawa kościelnego, które również określa siłę dowodów.
The literal analysis of legal texts presented in this article supported by a review of the protocols issued by the Pontifical Commission for the Revision of the Code of Canon Law showing the legislator’s intention, and by an examination of the system of canon law, leads to the conclusion that all the norms in the 1983 Code of Canon Law referring to the division of marriage impediments into occult and public should be interpreted in light of the norm of c. 1074 of the 1983 Code. Therefore, whenever the law refers to public impediments, what is important is not whether the impediment in question has been divulged but whether it can be proved in the external forum in accordance with the provisions of canon law, which also determine the strength of the proofs produced.

Opis:
The article presents the founding idea of pastoral care of families as a sub-field of practical theology as well as its significance for the saving work of the Church. The issue is presented in several stages. The starting point is a reflection on the notion and unique nature of pastoral care of families, then it is presented as a scientific discipline but also an important element of the saving activity of the Church focused on the family. Also, the main areas of concern are outlined. The highlight of the article is point 5 attempting to show the idea of having a textbook for family pastoral work, an aid that has never been conceived in Poland. In fact the presentation is not a mere outline but quite a concrete and detailed plan.
