Tematem niniejszego artykułu jest współpraca horyzontalna w łańcuchu dostaw pomiędzy przedsiębiorstwami branży TSL (transport–spedycja–logistyka). Ten rodzaj współpracy odbywa się przez tworzenie wspólnego systemu transportowego, w którym wszyscy jego uczestnicy dzielą ze sobą sieć transportową i zasoby. Horyzontalna współpraca pomiędzy firmami w łańcuchu dostaw jest ważnym obszarem badawczym, ponieważ konkurencja na rynkach światowych, rosnące koszty i zwiększone oczekiwania klientów spowodowały spadek zysków organizacji. Zaangażowanie się w horyzontalną współpracę zapewnia różne możliwości poprawy efektywności. Jednak formowanie sojuszy w branży TSL wiąże się z podjęciem wyzwań, takich jak np. dobór partnera, relacje z partnerem, podział kosztów i/lub zysków. Warto zastanowić się zatem, co zagraża rozwojowi tej współpracy. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie determinant i barier rozwoju współpracy horyzontalnej firm z branży TSL w łańcuchach dostaw. W pracy wykorzystano metodę przeglądu literatury celem weryfikacji aktualnego poziomu wiedzy na temat współpracy horyzontalnej w łańcuchach dostaw. Zdaniem autorów wyniki przeprowadzonych badań przyczyniają się do usystematyzowania wiedzy na temat realizacji współpracy w branży TSL, co będzie oddziaływało na poziom wiedzy teoretycznej z dziedziny ekonomii, zarządzania i logistyki. Ponadto, rezultaty przeprowadzonych badań mogą zostać wykorzystane przez decydentów, badaczy i organizacje jako podstawa do zaprojektowania i zaplanowania współpracy horyzontalnej w łańcuchach dostaw, lecz również jako przewodnik w prowadzeniu badań nad aktualnym stanem literatury w rozpatrywanym zakresie.
The subject of this paper is horizontal cooperation in logistics. This type of cooperation takes place by creating a common transport system in which all of its participants share the transport network and their resources. Horizontal cooperation between companies in the supply chain is an important research area because fierce competition in global markets, rising costs and increased customer expectations have resulted in a decrease in the profits of organizations. Involvement in horizontal logistics cooperation provides various opportunities to improve productivity and supply chain performance. However, forming alliances in the logistics industry involves taking up challenges that can be formulated as follows: What factors hamper cooperation? The purpose of this paper is to analyze the determinants and barriers in the development of horizontal cooperation between logistics companies in supply chains. The method of literature analysis was used in the paper to verify the current level of knowledge concerning horizontal cooperation in supply chains. The expected research results will contribute to the systematization of knowledge concerning the implementation of cooperation in the logistics industry, which will improve the level of theoretical knowledge in the fields of economics, management and logistics. In addition, the results of the research may be used by decision-makers, researchers and organizations as a basis for designing and planning horizontal cooperation in supply chains, and also as a guide to conduct research on the current state of literature in a given field.

Poniższy artykuł prezentuje współczesne cele zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw a także przedstawia warunki społeczne dla przedsiębiorstw działających w obszarze logistycznym. W pierwszej części artykułu, omawiane jest zagadnienie zastosowania zarządzania logistycznego w realiach łańcucha dostaw. Następnie rozważana jest kwestia czy obecne warunki determinujące działanie łańcucha dostaw charakteryzują się stabilnością. Przedstawiony jest także wpływ tych warunków na działanie łańcucha dostaw. Na zakończenie, artykuł przedstawia logistykę socjalną jako nowy kierunek rozwoju logistyki tradycyjnej.

Kooperacja na skalę globalną, dezintegracja wertykalna oraz koncentracja na podstawowej działalności przedsiębiorstw spowodowały, iż zaczęto dostrzegać, że firmy funkcjonują w łańcuchach dostaw, które mają układ sieciowy. W ślad za tym powstało wyzwanie efektywnej koordynacji wszelkich przepływów w tych układach.
Supply chain management is of fundamental importance nowadays, contributes to gaining a competitive advantage and creating the value of companies participating in such chains. The worldwide literature emphasizes the necessity of the interdisciplinary perceiving of this term. The main aim of this article is to analyze the way of understanding the term "supply chain management" by the managers in Poland. The author's analysis is based on the empirical research conducted in 2011on the sample of 79 senior level managers responsible for logistics/supply chain management and representing the largest production and trade companies in Poland.

Niejednoznaczne podejście do postrzegania zarządzania logistyką oraz zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw oraz ich wzajemnych relacji budzi wiele wątpliwości na gruncie teoretycznym. Znajduje to także odzwierciedlenie w praktyce gospodarczej, jednak w tym przypadku może wiązać się z brakiem możliwości wykorzystania potencjału, jaki oferuje wdrażanie koncepcji zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw. Kształtowanie zdolności konkurencyjnej przedsiębiorstw na rynku wiąże się przede wszystkim z identyfikacją takich obszarów, w których istnieje potencjał wzrostu efektywności działań. W pracy zaprezentowano wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w polskich przedsiębiorstwach dotyczących postrzegania roli logistyki oraz jej relacji z zarządzaniem łańcuchem dostaw w tworzeniu i wzroście wartości.
An ambiguous approach to the perception of logistics management and supply chain management and their mutual relations raises a number of theoretical discussions. This is also reflected in business practice, but in this case it may be related to the inability to use the potential offered by the implementation of the supply chain management concept. Shaping the competitive ability of enterprises on the market is primarily associated with the identification of such areas where there is a potential to increase the efficiency of operations. The paper presents the results of surveys carried out in Polish enterprises regarding the perception of the role of logistics and its relationship with supply chain management in creating and increasing value.

Logistics develops dynamically, especially in business practice. It is visible both at the macro level – the development of the Transport–Freight Forwarding–Logistics sector, and at the micro-level – the automa-tion of logistics and the sustainable development of logistics function in the organization. Logistics has become an important source of cost reduction and value creation for companies. Therefore, they now need additional information support to remain in a competitive and dynamic market in the long term. Management accounting may be such a system. This means the importance of science's focus on integrat-ing management accounting and logistics and supply chain management issues. The aim of the article is to identify publications on management accounting that focus on logistics and supply chain management in selected scientific journals. Three scientific journals from Poland were used for the analysis: “Theoret-ical Journal of Accounting”, “Logistics”, “Research Papers of Wrocław University of Economics”. Veri-fication of papers covered the period 2010–2018. The analysis showed that a small number of articles in the selected journals simultaneously concerned management accounting in logistics activities. The arti-cles do not refer to scientific theories, and few of them present the results of their own empirical research carried out either by means of a survey or interviews.
Logistyka rozwija się dynamicznie, głównie w praktyce biznesowej. Jest to widoczne zarówno na płasz-czyźnie makro – rozwój sektora Transport-Spedycja-Logstyka oraz na płaszczyźnie mikro – automatyzacja logistyki, zrównoważony rozwój funkcji logistyki w organizacji. Logistyka stała się istotnym źródłem redukcji kosztów i kreowania wartości dla przedsiębiorstw. W związku z tym potrzebują one obecnie do-datkowego wsparcia informacyjnego, aby utrzymać się na konkurencyjnym i dynamicznym rynku w dłu-gim okresie. Takim system może być rachunkowość zarządcza. Oznacza to istotność ukierunkowania nauki na integrowanie zagadnień rachunkowości zarządczej i logistyki oraz zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja publikacji z zakresu rachunkowości zarządczej ukierunkowanej na logistykę i za-rządzania łańcuchem dostaw w wybranych czasopismach naukowych w Polsce. Do analizy wykorzystano trzy polskie czasopisma naukowe „Zeszyty Teoretyczne Rachunkowości”, „Logistyka”, „Prace Naukowe Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu”. Weryfikacja artykułów obejmowała lata 2010–2018. Z analizy wynika, że niewielka liczba artykułów w krajowych wybranych czasopismach naukowych dotyczyła rachunkowości zarządczej w działalności logistycznej. Ponadto, w opublikowanych artykułach autorzy nie nawiązują do teorii naukowych, a także w niewielu z nich prezentowane są wyniki własnych badań empirycznych przeprowadzonych czy to z wykorzystaniem badania ankietowego, czy wywiadów.

W oparciu o częstość i ważność wskazań badanych megatrendów w literaturze oraz własne badania, autor wskazał w ujęciu hierarchicznym podstawowe megatrendy, podejmując próbę identyfikacji ich istoty i struktury oraz przejawów oddziaływania na rozwój i funkcjonowanie logistyki. Kombinacje megatrendów, wyznaczają zakres i intensywność zmian odnośnie formułowania nowych przedsięwzięć strategicznych w sferze logistyki i SCM.
The article concerns the identification of megatrends affecting and dynamizing the directions of logistics and supply chain management. The author present world-widely known results of the research concerning the structuring of the megatrends and challenges of the contemporary logistics. Based on the researched megatrends within the literature as well as the own research, the author shown in the hierarchical way basic megatrends, taking into advance the attempt of the identification of the nature and structure of the megatrends as well as their influence symptoms on the development and functioning of logistics. The combinations of megatrends show the scope and intensity of the changes concerning the formulation of the new strategic undertaking within the area of logistics and supply chain management.

The aim of this article is trying to draw the issues of risk management in the supply chain, its essence, classification and relationship between supply chain management and risk management. In addition, article applies risk criteria in the supply chain, with examples of risks that may occur between the participants. Identification of the risk level allows to define areas which should be carefully analyzed by organizations. The risk management process brings measurable benefits, but it is only possible when the factors affecting on the supply chain had been identified before.

Analiza bibliometryczna artykułów naukowych dostarcza cennych informacji o strukturze zarówno nauki, jak i jej wybranych obszarów (np. zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw). Autorzy artykułu dokonali przeglądu publikacji w "Gospodarce Materiałowej i Logistyce" za lata 2010-2012 z zastosowaniem narzędzi analizy bibliometrycznej. Celem przeglądu była identyfikacja obszarów badawczych w zakresie zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw oraz ustalenie zawartości i struktury. Cel badań został zrealizowany poprzez analizę bibliometryczną bazy opublikowanych w latach 2010-2012 artykułów (ich anglojęzycznych abstraktów). Rezultaty analizy posłużyły do sformułowania wniosków dotyczących kluczowych, newralgicznych kierunków rozwojowych badań zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw w polskim obszarze badawczym na najbliższe lata.
Bibliometric analysis of scientific articles provides valuable information on the structure of both science and the selec- lod areas (eg. supply chain management). The authors reviewed the publication in „Materials Management and Logistics” for the years 2010-2012 using bibliometric analysis tools. The purpose of the review was to identify areas of research in the field of supply chain management and to determine the content and structure. Aim of the study was carried out by analyzing the bibliometric database for 2010-2012 published articles (the English-language abstracts). Bibliometric analysis confirmed the high performance potential of supply chain management as an area of scientific and research activities. Despite the narrow time frame of the analysis in the study area was observed high variability subjects of articles (as well as research projects, the underlying). Some research areas have remained unchanged, and the number of published articles confirmed the continued interest of researchers defined issues (eg. transport processes within the supply chain). In some of the analyzed periods occurred more than average interest in part of the problem areas.

Opis:
Purpose: The aim of the article is to analyse and evaluate the influence of logistics supply chain strategies on the results of enterprises implementing them and creating a supply chain on the example of selected Polish manufacturing and trading enterprises. It presents the theoretical aspects of logistics supply chain strategies in contemporary market conditions. A research methodology has been described and a brief description of the studied population has been made. The results of the research concerning logistics supply chain strategies used in practice by the surveyed enterprises has been presented and an attempt to assess the influence of logistics supply chain strategies on the results of enterprises implementing them and creating a supply chain has been made. Design/methodology/approach: The article is based on the study of literature and own empirical research. The results of author’s own empirical research presented in the article come from more extensive studies concerning the analysis of logistics systems and logistics process management of Polish manufacturing and trading enterprises in the years 2014-2016 in the context of building the competitiveness of enterprises. The research was conducted in 2017 by face-to-face interviews with managers responsible for logistics in the surveyed companies using a questionnaire. 298 manufacturing and trading enterprises from north-eastern Poland were examined (55.4% from the Warmia-Masuria Province and 44.6% from the Podlasie Province), characterized by a diversified competitive position on the market. Findings: Contemporary manufacturing and trading enterprises can use logistics both as a main element to achieve the intended competitive position and as an element to strengthen the adopted by the company method to achieve the intended competitive position. The conducted studies confirmed that the implementation of the adequate to the conditions logistics supply chain strategy allows the enterprise to increase the adjustment of operations to requirements and expectations of customers, respond properly to market challenges, achieve the set goals, implement innovations, increase sales revenues with the same or better financial liquidity than competitors’, reduce costs and reduce capital involvement, and consequently, achieve the competitive advantage and intended competitive position of enterprises creating the supply chain. The most frequently implemented logistics strategy in the best enterprises was the supply chain management strategy. In the majority of the best enterprises, an emergent logistics strategy was implemented, which was in a constant stage of creation and development, and was characterized by a quick response to changing customer requirements, environmental conditions and competitors’ activities. Research limitations/implications: More and more logistics managers manage logistics processes on the scale of the enterprise and the entire supply chain. Creating and implementing a logistics strategy in the supply chain is a very complex process. The article presents only selected aspects of logistics supply chain strategies. The issue of logistics supply chain strategies requires further, in-depth research. Practical implications: The article proposes logistics managers of Polish manufacturing and trading enterprises practical suggestions for using logistics supply chain strategies to achieve the intended competitive advantage. Originality/value: The article fills a cognitive gap regarding logistics supply chain strategies. An extensive review of the literature on logistics supply chain strategies in contemporary market conditions has been made. The article also fills an empirical gap. It presents the results of studies concerning selected aspects of logistics supply chain strategies used in practice by the surveyed manufacturing and trading enterprises. The research results presented in the article can be used by logistics managers of Polish manufacturing and trading enterprises.

The articule shows the essence of security, in a special way the essence of economic security is presented, structure and the basic problems connected with it, as well as general factors of that security. The authors shows important problems, looks at the logistic of enterprises from the side of economic security, presents the basic determinants of economic security to which that should pay attention in logistic, including financial, organizational – management, international and technological – development issues. At the same time, the articles shows how enterpises should operate in order to stay on the market and be able to gain a competitve advantage on the me arket.
Artykuł ukazuje istotę bezpieczeństwa, w szczególnej mierze przedstawiona jest istota bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego, jego podział struktura i podstawowa problematyka z nim związana oraz ogólne czynniki tegoż bezpieczeństwa. Autorka ukazuje ważną problematykę, spojrzenia na logistykę przedsiębiorstw od strony bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego, przedstawia podstawowe determinanty bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego na jakie należy, zwrócić uwagę w logistyce, m.in. kwestie finansowe, organizacyjno – zarządcze, międzynarodowe oraz technologiczno – rozwojowe. Jednocześnie artykuł ukazuje w jaki sposób przedsiębiorstwa powinny funkcjonować, ażeby utrzymać się na rynku i mieć możliwość zdobycia przewagi konkurencyjnej na rynku.

Nowadays, managers of manufacturing companies are facing more and more difficult decision-making problems to resolve. Fluctuations in demand and constantly growing markets place many requirements for planners to create a correct production schedule. Thanks to technological development it is possible to use systems supporting decision-making. However, not all systems work properly together. An example of problems with system integration is the implementation of a production monitoring system (MES) into an existing Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) class system. This article aimed to show the use of the basic functions contained in the ERP system as part of the functions of the MES system. By integrating the ERP system with a mobile application, it becomes possible to obtain the basic functionalities of the MES system, i.e. monitoring of current production and confirmation of yield at the workplace. The article contains a short theoretical introduction regarding production schedule planning and the functions of ERP and MES class systems. The empirical part shows the diagnosed problems of the production company and an example of implementing an original solution, and is summed up with conclusions and guidelines for further stages of research.
W obecnych czasach menedżerowie przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych stają przed coraz cięższymi problemami decyzyjnymi. Wahania popytu oraz stale rozwijające się rynki stawiają przed planistami wiele wymagań dotyczących utworzenia poprawnego harmonogramu produkcji. Dzięki rozwojowi technologicznemu możliwe jest korzystanie z systemów wspierających podejmowanie decyzji. Jednakże nie wszystkie systemy prawidłowo współpracują ze sobą. Przykładem problemów z integracją systemów jest wdrożenie systemu monitorującego produkcję (MES) do istniejącego systemu klasy ERP. Ten artykuł ma na celu pokazanie wykorzystania podstawowych funkcji zawartych w systemie klasy ERP jako części funkcji systemu MES. Poprzez integrację systemu ERP z aplikacją mobilną możliwe staje się uzyskanie podstawowych funkcjonalności systemu MES, czyli monitorowania bieżącej produkcji oraz potwierdzania uzysku na stanowisku roboczym. Artykuł zawiera krótki wstęp teoretyczny dotyczący ustalania harmonogramu produkcji oraz przedstawienie funkcji systemów klasy ERP oraz MES. Część praktyczna pokazuje zdiagnozowane problemy przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjnego oraz przykład wdrożenia autorskiego rozwiązania. Całość podsumowana jest wnioskami oraz wytycznymi na dalsze etapy badań.

Supply chain activity control is an essential part of Supply Chain Management (SCM), ensuring compliance with customer requirements. This paper presents a case study into the control of SCM activities. The study analysed two areas involving two different SC links associated with order picking, and outsourced truck freights, respectively. The studied company had problems with these links. An approach based on developing a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) was proposed to address the issues. Consequently, different affected processes were analysed and characterised, considering the relevant data for defining a KPI. Then, strategies and methods were devised for data collection and processing regarding the system’s current state. Finally, tools were designed to facilitate the interpretation of the system’s current state and thus, pave the way for the decision-making process on corrective measures.

The main aim of this paper was to analyze the actual state of buying and selling cut-flowers in a chosen company. New controlling system was suggested for this company on the basis of collected and consequently separated, compiled and organized data. This system should provide the information on the anticipated development of purchase in the future. The motivation for creating the new system was given by the actual problems appearing due to not very clear and transparent way of flowers buying decision making. Especially considering the decisions about the amount and sorts of cut-flowers booked in advance. The new controlling system was designed in order to improve the current state of warehouse supply chain management. We believe that it would be useful in the process of planning, deciding, controlling and evaluation of orders exactness.
