    Tak charakterystyczne dla współczesnej gospodarki globalnie rozmieszczone rynki produkcji i zbytu prowadzą do tego, że coraz więcej pełnowartościowych dóbr transportowanych jest w sieciach logistycznych obejmujących cały świat. W związku z tym procesy transportowe i logistyczne są rozpatrywane z punktu widzenia wzrastającej dynamicznej i strukturalnej kompleksowości różnorodności zagrożeń. Pomimo to szczegółowe informacje o stanie towarów i ich nienaruszalności nie są cały czas dostępne, a szczegółowe warunki podczas transportu pozostają transparentne. Sprawnie funkcjonujące procesy informacyjne i komunikacyjne poprawiają koordynację i efektywność w logistyce.
    Basic problems related to management in global transportation networks have been discussed. The attention was placed to basic transportation processes, sources of demand for transport have been characterized, and features of transportation services have been defined. It has been underlined in this article that basic purpose of transport is to fulfill transportation needs. An adequate execution of these needs mainly depends of selection of proper transportation means, which falls into responsibilities of a person managing transport. At present, in the time of rapid globalization process, management in global transportation networks and the related challenges and dangers is becoming highly significant.

    Information flows in logistics and their capacity become a starting point for consideration in the field of the Logistic Information System. In order to select the most significant information in the perspective of decision accuracy, of the greatest value and in a short time, there is a need to employ proper information means and techniques. Only computer techniques are capable of dealing with such a large amount of data, and transform them into valuable and useful information. Purpose of the work is to present significance of logistics in agribusiness enterprises, and the logistic information itself.
    Przepływy informacyjne w logistyce i ich objętość stają się punktem wyjścia do rozważań na temat logistycznego systemu informacji LIS. Aby wybrać informacje najistotniejsze z punktu trafności decydowania, o największej wartości i w krótkim czasie, należy zastosować odpowiednie środki i techniki informacyjne. Tylko techniki komputerowe są w stanie uporać się z tak olbrzymią ilością danych i przetworzyć je w wartościowe, użyteczne informacje. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wykazanie ważności znaczenia logistyki w przedsiębiorstwach z sektora agrobiznesu oraz samej informacji logistycznej w agrologistyce.

    Opis:
    The article concerns logistic procedures in the promotion of agritourism services used by farmers engaged in agritourism and by agritourism associations, local authorities in municipalities and agricultural advisory centers. On the basis of the literature, various promotional instruments used by rural service providers and by these entities in the communication processes with the market were shown. Logistic aspects concerning planning and implementation of agritourism development were presented, mainly the role of agritourism information and promotional activities in these processes. Farmers providing agritouristic services most often use various forms of promotion. Among them, they use online advertising, publishing houses, including catalogs, trips to agritourism fairs, personal sale and different forms of public relation. In the agritourism promotion they often have support from local authorities, agritourism associations and agricultural advisory centres. All promotional activities undertaken by farmers themselves and with the support of these entities constitute an important part of agrotourism logistics.
