    Artykuł opisuje próbę przeprowadzenia eksperymentalnego tłumaczenia autotematycznych utworów lirycznych z zamianą podmiotowego “Ja, które pisze” na podmiotowe “Ja, które tłumaczy”. Przytoczone zostają liczne przekłady trzech wierszy (autorstwa Roberta Lowella, Franka O’Hary oraz Jane Kenyon): zostają zinterpretowane one i porównane z dziełami oryginalnymi oraz opatrzone komentarzem, sytuującym je w szerszym kontekście translatologicznym i teoretycznoliterackim. Tłumaczenia dokonały studentki specjalności przekładowej na Wydziale Filologii Polskiej i Klasycznej Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu.
    The article describes an attempt to conduct an experimental translation of a self-referential poems with the conversion of the subjective “I who write” into the subjective “I who translate”. It contains numerous translations of three poems (written by Robert Lowell, Frank O’Hara and Jane Kenyon). They are interpreted and compared with the original works and provided with commentary, which situates them in a broader translatological and theoretical context. The translations were made by the students of the translation speciality (Wydział Filologii Polskiej i Klasycznej, Adam Mickieiwcz Univeristy in Poznań).

    The article offers a new perspective on the phenomenon of code-switching by looking at it from the point ofview of translation studies. In doing so, the article addresses the general issue of untranslatability as well. Boththeoretical topics are discussed using the example of the German translation of the Czech novel Konec punkuv Helsinkách written by Jaroslav Rudiš. The aim of the article is to identify the different compensation strategiesused to translate the untranslatable, i.e., the Czech-German and Czech-English code-switching in the novel.

    Since there are many differences between the standard Croatian language and the Croatian dialects (Čakavian, Kajkavian and Štokavian), Croatian literary works written in dialects usually include a glossary or otherwise try to bring their language closer to inodialect readers. This paper first reconstructs the models of translating modern Croatian dialect literature into the standard Croatian language and then analyses the advantages and disadvantages of each model.

    Opis:
    Libro de Manuel (1973) posee, como las demás obras de Julio Cortázar, una estructura narrativa muy compleja, caracterizada por múltiples cambios de narrador, alteración o ausencia de puntuación e interpolación de otros géneros textuales. Además, la narración conlleva una contínua reflexión sobre el lenguaje y la traducción de una lengua (y una cultura) a otra. Traducir esta novela a otro idioma (en este caso, al italiano) representa un desafío estimulante, porque significa entrar en el laberinto de técnicas y recursos que Cortázar desplega para jugar con las palabras y la realidad que estas representan. El objeto de mi artículo es reflexionar sobre los retos que Libro de Manuel propone al traductor con su plurilingüísmo y con una incesante y genial manipulación de la lengua que va de la alteración de palabras y frases hechas a la invención del lenguaje quimérico y extravagante con el cual uno de los personajes expresa su visión del mundo (y la de su autor). Y mi intento principal es el de buscar soluciones para los numerosos dilemas que cualquier traducción literaria propone, y que se multiplican en una novela donde la reflexión política y existencial del autor se funden con una profunda reflexión sobre el lenguaje y sus infinitas posibilidades.
    Libro de Manuel (1973) has, like the other works of Julio Cortázar, a very complex narrative structure, characterized by multiple changes of narrator, alteration or absence of punctuation and interpolation of other textual genres. In addition, the narration entails a continuous reflection on language and the translation of one language (and one culture) to another. Translating this novel to another language (in this case, to Italian) represents a stimulating challenge, because it means entering the labyrinth of techniques and resources Cortázar deploys to play with the words and the reality they represent. This article aims to reflect on the challenges that Libro de Manuel proposes to the translator with his plurilingualism and with an incessant and genial manipulation of the language that goes from the alteration of words and phrases made to the invention of the chimerical and extravagant language with the which one of the characters expresses his vision of the world (and that of its author). And my purpose is to find solutions for the many dilemmas that any literary translation proposes, and which are multiplied in a novel in which the author’s political and existential reflection merge with a deep reflection on language and its infinite possibilities.

    Celem niniejszego tekstu jest przedstawienie roli autora tekstu oryginalnego jako aktanta w procesie przekładu współczesnej literatury norweskiej na język polski. Obierając za punkt wyjścia teorię sieci-aktora oraz doświadczenia z własnej pracy tłumacza, prezentuję charakterystykę różnego rodzaju interakcji pomiędzy autorem a tłumaczem, osadzając te interakcje w kontekście specyficznych uwarunkowań norweskiego rynku wydawniczego, który, z uwagi na wysoki stopień zintegrowania, interakcje takie stymuluje i do nich zachęca. Podejmuję refleksję nad rolą autora w procesie przekładu, prezentując trzy kategorie – „poziomy” współpracy pomiędzy autorem a tłumaczem, przedstawiając przy tym studia przypadku – procesy powstawania przygotowywanych przeze mnie przekładów.
    The aim of this paper is to present the role of the original text’s author as an actor in the process of translating modern Norwegian literature into Polish. Basing on the actor-network theory (ANT) and experience from my own work as a literary translator, I present the features of different types of interaction between the author and the translator, placing those interactions in the context of the specific conditions of the Norwegian book market that, because of its high level of integration, stimulates and encourages such interactions. I reflect upon the role of the author in the translation process presenting three categories – so-called “levels” of author-translator collaboration, conducting case studies of the translation processesI myself have been involved in.
