    The article presents the essence and importance of leadership, with particular reference to the specificity of military leadership. The purpose of the article is to indicate the validity of certain leadership qualities in the civil and military context, as well as the interaction between them. The research was carried out on civilian organization employees who were to assess the validity of selected leadership traits. The most important features and social competencies necessary for effective leadership and attitudes, described in the literature as worthy of imitation, are presented. The applied research methods (the analysis of literature and surveys in civilian organizations) allowed for indicating the distinguished leadership traits and some similarities between the characteristics of a military and civilian leader.

    The article considers issues related to the formation of leadership in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The practices and training programs for leaders, both in Ukraine and in its Armed Forces, are analyzed. Problems, obstacles and difficulties that arise in the process of forming a military leader are studied.
    Artykuł rozważa kwestie związane z formowaniem przywództwa w Siłach Zbrojnych Ukrainy. Przeanalizowane są praktyki i programy szkoleniowe dla liderów, zarówno na Ukrainie, jak i w jej Siłach Zbrojnych. Badane są problemy, przeszkody i trudności powstające w procesie formowania dowódcy wojskowego.

    In social reality no structures, groups or organizations exist in which there are no leaders. Virtually every formation has its own leader, which binds human resources, and whose behavior affects the implementation of tasks. The fact of having strong leadership supported by competencies and relevant characteristics of an individual is crucial for the functioning of groups responsible for security. A competent leader should be able to express and evoke enthusiasm for common visions and goals, to take a leadership role regardless of occupational status, to direct subordinates’ work, but at the same time, without exonerating them from the obligation to achieve results, to strive to set a positive example in any given situation. A leader should be able to convince subordinates with his or her decision and reconcile the management style with the appropriate approach. Being aware of own positive and negative characteristics, he or she disciplines himself/herself and takes a lead. Due to the ability to communicate with subordinates and the environment, a leader makes people who come into contact with him/her understand the intentions of his/her messages and actions and feel confident that they understand the information.

    The article presents the results of empirical studies of psychological features of the style of interaction and management of heads of educational institutions. The article makes a comparative analysis of the studied indicators in female and małe managers. lt has been established that the communicative characteristics associated with communication with people have a more pronounced level of development in women heads of educational institutions, and their impact on the effectiveness of management is significant for managers of different genders. Found significant differences in achieving high efficiency of administrative activity managers of different sexes manifestations depending on the degree of sociability, responsibility, kindness, collegiality, demanding to themselves. Men-leaders are more focused on the case and, accordingly, its effectiveness, women-leaders are more focused on communication to achieve high results of joint activities. lt is empirically established that the most common democratic style of leadership among małe managers, while among women - combined.
    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań empirycznych osobliwości psychologicznych stylu interakcji kierowników instytucji edukacyjnych. W pracy dokonano analizy porównawczej badanych wskaźników kierowników płci żeńskiej i męskiej. Ustalono, że cechy komunikacyjne związane z komunikowaniem się z ludźmi mają wyraźniejszy poziom rozwoju wśród kobiet na stanowiskach kierowniczych instytucji edukacyjnych, a ich wpływ na skuteczność działalności w zakresie zarządzania jest znaczący dla kierowników różnych płci. Znaleziono istotnych różnic w osiąganiu wysokiej skuteczności działalności w zakresie zarządzania kierownikami różnej płci w zależności od stopnia przejawów towarzyskości, odpowiedzialności, życzliwości, kolegialności, wytrwałości wobec siebie. Mężczyźni na stanowiskach kierowniczych są bardziej zorientowani na realizację zadań i dlatego są bardziej produktywni, a kobiety na stanowiskach kierowniczych są bardziej zorientowane na komunikację, aby osiągnąć wysokie wyniki we wspólnych działaniach. Ustalono empirycznie, że wśród kierowników płci męskiej najbardziej rozpowszechniony demokratyczny styl kierownictwa, podczas gdy wśród kobiet jest to styl łączony.

    The authors consider the issues concerning the activity of young people in scouting organisations, recognising its advantages. Based on the analysis of the literature and their own reflections, they characterise scouting organisations in Poland, explain the concept of leadership and describe its main concepts. In the context of the broadly understood meaning of leadership in the uniformed services, they put forward a thesis: scouting organisations are the real place for shaping leadership qualities of their activists. Proving its validity, they reveal forms and methods of scouting activity that are a measurable carrier of leadership predispositions in their charges. They conclude that scouts should be the elite among the candidates for universities of uniformed services.
    Autorzy w artykule rozważają kwestie dotyczące działalności młodzieży w organizacjach harcerskich, dostrzegając atuty owej aktywności. Na podstawie analizy literatury przedmiotu oraz własnych refleksji charakteryzują organizacje harcerskie w Polsce, wyjaśniają pojęcie przywództwa oraz opisują główne jego koncepcje. W kontekście szeroko pojętego znaczenia przywództwa w służbach mundurowych stawiają tezę: organizacje harcerskie są rzeczywistym miejscem kształtowania cech przywódczych swoich działaczy. Dowodząc jej zasadności ujawniają formy i metody aktywności harcerskiej będące wymiernym nośnikiem predyspozycji przywódczych podopiecznych. Prowadzone rozważania kończą konkluzją, iż harcerze winni stanowić elitę wśród kandydatów do uczelni służb mundurowych.
