    Opis:
    Purpose: The article present issues related to strengthening the supporting structure of swimming pool in a primary school building paying special attention to the damaged reinforced concrete pillars of supports. Design/methodology/approach: Analysis of design solutions strengthening the supporting structure of the building for further safe use. Findings: Engineers noticed multiple cracks and deformations in rebar while performing on-site verification. Three posts (pillars) were damaged in the basement rooms and needed repair. Research limitations/implications: Structural elements of building structures wear out over time and cause damage that requires repair. The scope of repair works should be designed and carried out in accordance with applicable law. Practical implications: The solution, which has been designed in great detail, allows the building to continue working without the risk of damaging the structure. Originality/value: Due to the scale of damage to the reinforced concrete columns in the basement of the building, it was necessary to protect the facility against a construction failure.

    Opis:
    The task of the study is consider some specifics of design and construction of composite structures in seismic regions on the example of Kazakhstan including geological specifics of Almaty city. The new constructive concept for seismically dangerous areas was proposed. This is the composite steel and concrete structural frame, which was developed in Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University.
    W artykule omówiono wybrane warunki projektowania i budowy struktur kompozytowych stosowanych w zagrożonych sejsmicznie regionach, na przykładzie Kazachstanu, z uwzględnieniem warunków środowiskowych Almaty. Zaproponowano nową konstruktywną koncepcję struktur do zastosowania w obiektach budowlanych wznoszonych w rejonach sejsmicznych. Jest to konstrukcja kompozytowa wykonana ze stali i betonu, opracowana w Poltavskim Państwowym Uniwersytecie Technicznym im. Yuriya Kondratiuka.

    Dynamicznie rozwijający się świat, wymaga efektywnych narzędzi projektowych. Pracujemy szybciej, tworzymy budynki wyższe, bardziej zaawansowane technologicznie dokumentując jednocześnie każdy detal bardziej kompleksowo niż dotychczas. Na skutek tego biura projektowe wdrażają narzędzia, które pozwalają optymalizować proces projektowy, zarządzać zespołem i dokumentacją oraz cyklem życia budynku w wydajniejszy sposób. Rozwój technologii BIM (Building Information Modeling) sprawia, iż budynki XXI wieku tworzone są przy użyciu oprogramowania do projektowania wielowymiarowego 6-7D. Przy użyciu definiowanych parametrycznie multidyscyplinarnych baz danych, zawierających pełną informację o strukturze, materiale, instalacjach czy konstrukcji, projektuje się precyzyjnie, a wszelkie kolizje wykrywa już na wstępnym etapie prac projektowych nie zaś na placu budowy. Analizy, badania i autorskie rozwiązania architektoniczne harmonizowane są z branżą konstrukcyjną, instalacyjną, uwzględniając proces budowy, działania i starzenia się obiektu, aż do momentu jego utylizacji w ramach zintegrowanego procesu projektowego.
    The dynamically developing world requires effective design tools. We work faster; we create buildings that are taller and more technologically advanced, while at the same time documenting every detail more comprehensively than ever before. As a result, design offices implement tools that allow them to optimize the design process, manage the team, documentation, and the building’s life cycle in a more efficient way. The development of the BIM (Building Inform ation Modeling) technology means that the 21st-century buildings are made using software for 6-7D interdisciplinary design. By using parametrically defined interdisciplinary databases containing complete information about the structure, materials, installations or construction, the design process is precise and all clashes are detected at the initial stage of design works rather than at the construction site. Analyzes, research, and proprietary architectural solutions are harmonized with the construction and installation industries, taking into account the process of construction, operation and aging of the facility, until its utilization as part of the integrated design process.

    Podstawą optymalizacji jest układ kryteriów. W publikacji podejmuję się próbę określenia źródła kryteriów w metodologii projektowania i konstruowania maszyn. Określa się wpływ kryteriów na dwa podstawowe utwory działań inżynierskich: system i konstrukcję. System określa sposób działania, natomiast konstrukcja opisuje struktury zewnętrzne, wewnętrzne i stany przyszłego środka technicznego. Jako projektanci i konstruktorzy nowych środków technicznych jesteśmy tyle warci, ile warte są nasze kryteria.
    The basis of the optimization are the criteria. The paper presents an attempt to identify the source of the criteria in the methodology design and construction. Determines the impact of the criteria on two basic pieces of engineering activities: system and construction. The system determines the method of operation, constructions describes the external structure and internal states of future technical means. As designers and constructors of new technical measures we are worth as much as worth are our criteria.

    W artykule przedstawiono różne aspekty budowy konstrukcji żelbetowej parkingu wielopoziomowego jako rozwiązanie zadania dyplomowego na studiach magisterskich na Wydziale Budownictwa Mechaniki i Petrochemii Politechniki Warszawskiej. Autorka artykułu w pracy dyplomowej inżynierskiej zaprojektowała konstrukcję parkingu w technologii monolitycznej żelbetowej z elementami prefabrykowanymi (w płytowo-belkowo-słupowym układzie konstrukcyjnym), a w pracy magisterskiej przedstawiła różne zagadnienia związane z realizacją takiego obiektu. Prace dyplomowe autorki łączą zagadnienia konstrukcyjno-materiałowe z technologicznymi i z organizacyjnymi. Przedstawiono w nich konstrukcję żelbetową obiektu, projekty deskowań, technologiczne warunki wykonywania robót, problemy mechanizacji robót betonowych i montażowych, rzeczowo-czasowe analizy wykonania procesów budowlanych z harmonogramem budowy. Wykorzystano przy tym współczesne możliwości wspomagania analiz projektowych – programy komputerowe oraz nowoczesne techniki i standardy prowadzenia robót budowlanych.
    The article presents diffrent aspects of the reinforced construction of a multi-storey car park as a solution to the diploma thesis at The Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mechanics and Petrochemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology. The author of the article in the engineering diploma thesis designed the construction of a car park in monolithic reinforced concrete technology with prefabricated elements (in a slab-beam-column structure), and in the master’s thesis presented diffrent issues related to the implementation of this object. The author’s diploma theses merge construction and materials with technological and organizational issues. They present the reinforced construction of the building, formwork designs, technological conditions for the performance of works, problems of mechanization of concrete and assembly works, material and time analyzes of the construction processes with the detailed schedule. Modern possibilities of supporting design analyzes were used with computer programs and modern techniques and standards for carrying out construction works.

    Wykonano architektoniczny i konstrukcyjny projekt budynku ośrodka szkoleniowego sportów wodnych w Ełku. Jako konstrukcję nośną budynku zastosowano żelbetowe ramy ze stropami płytowo-żebrowymi. Baseny wioślarski i kajakarski mają własne konstrukcje nośne, które nie przenoszą obciążeń na konstrukcję główną budynku i nie były one uwzględniane w analizie statycznej. Wszystkie obliczenia statyczne i wymiarowanie wybranych elementów konstrukcji przeprowadzono zgodnie z Eurokodami.
    The architectural and construction concept of the building of the water sports training centre in Ełk was designed. Reinforced concrete frames with slab-rib ceilings were used for the building’s main construction system. Rowing and canoeing pools are equipped with their own supporting structures, which do not transfer any load to the supporting structure of the main building, thus were not accounted for in the statistical analysis. All of the statistical calculations, as well as the dimensioning of selected construction elements were carried out according to the Eurocodes.

    W pracy przedstawiono algorytm doboru parametrów geometrycznych sprzęgła typu Alsthom do układu napędowego lokomotywy. Celem analizy jest polepszenie właściwości dynamicznych sprzęgła, poprzez zmniejszenie odkształceń w przegubach oraz zmniejszenie sił bezwładności generowanych w badanym mechaniźmie. Przedstawiona metoda doboru parametrów może by stosowana do projektowania nowych układów napędowych przystosowanych do dużych prędkości.
    The aim of the paper is the analysis of the method of selection geometrical parameters of locomotive flexible clutch. In particular the aim of the analysis is improvement of dynamic propriety of the clutches, decrease of the deformations in joints, and also decrease inertia forces generated in mechanisms and transferred through units and the components of the driving gear. The introduced method of the selection of parameters can be used in the process of constructing new driving arrangements adapted to the high speeds. Deformation in joints, and also the inertia forces acting on the parts of the mechanism will be studied.

    W artykule omówiono koncepcję bezpośredniego napędu małego pojazdu elektrycznego z wykorzystaniem trójfazowego tarczowego silnika BLCD. Przedstawiono i opisano wyniki projektu elektromagnetycznego i bezszczotkowego silnika tarczowego z centralnym szczelinowym stojanem i podwójnym wirnikiem zewnętrznym z magnesami trwałymi, który został umieszczony w obrębie koła małego pojazdu elektrycznego.
    The paper deals with suggested concept of direct drive for small electric vehicle, using a three-phase double disc BLCD motor. Presented and described in the article are results of electromagnetic design and construction of a disc brushless motor with central slotted stator and double outer rotor with permanent magnets that has been found to be suitable for its positioning within wheel of small electric vehicle.
