- The purpose of the article is to show the need to implement solutions in warehouse facilities, focusing on achieving maximum efficiency while ensuring the precision of warehouse operations. In the first part of the article, problems encountered in the implementation of warehouse processes with the participation of man were identified, indicating disturbances generated by the human factor. The next step was to characterize the fully automated high bay warehouse with a description of their operation. Advantages and disadvantages of the presented solution are also described. Then, examples of the use of this type of facilities in two manufacturing companies are presented. The article ends with a summary that discusses the impact of automation on the development of the TSL industry.
