    The purpose of the article is to present intangible cultural heritage as a resource for a special category of cultural and educational tourism, namely heritage tourism. The authors use embroidery and carpet weaving as examples of intangible cultural heritage. The methods used in the study include a review of foreign and domestic theoretical and methodological developments, analysis of best practices in the field of heritage tourism, field research, analysis of materials collected during a survey of locations and the authors’ personal experience of tourist products. The results of the study outline the development of heritage tourism based on a creative approach as well as strategic plans of the state regarding tourism development. Based on practical experience, the authors present general principles of designing tourist routes, where elements of intangible cultural heritage act as “magnets”. The analysis has indicated elements of intangible cultural heritage that can appeal to tourists under particular circumstances. The authors argue that the development of heritage tourism based on a creative approach to designing tourist products in the form of intangible cultural heritage should popularize it in the national tourism market and promote tourism destinations with intangible cultural heritage, such as embroidery and carpet weaving. These tourist destinations should be used not only to attract domestic and foreign tourists, but also to promote the Ukrainian culture.

    Autorka artykułu opisuje specyfikę niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego w miastach na Białorusi. Omawia elementy dziedzictwa miejskiego wpisane na Krajową listę dziedzictwa historyczno-kulturowego Republiki Białorusi, analizuje wybrane tendencje rozwojowe, uwzględniając zarówno ich aspekty pozytywne, jak i negatywne. Do pozytywnych aspektów zalicza: włączenie niematerialnego dziedzictwa do lokalnych planów rozwoju, ochrona w ramach Krajowej listy, rosnące zainteresowanie dziedzictwem wśród ludności miejskiej i partycypacyjne praktyki jego ochrony; do negatywnych: uwarunkowania ekonomiczne, globalizację kulturową, zmiany demograficzne, dekontekstualizację oraz komercjalizację.
    The author draws attention to the specificity of the urban intangible heritage in Belarus. The elements of urban on the National List of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Belarus are presented. Both positive and negative development trends are revealed. The positive ones are connected with the involving of intangible heritage in local cultural development plans, its safeguarding by the National List, increasing of urban population interest in heritage and using of participatory practices for safeguarding. Among the negative aspects of intangible heritage in the cities are economic pressure, cultural globalization, demographic changes, decontextualization and commercialization.

    Wydawnictwa informacji bezpośredniej cieszą się w ostatnich kilku dekadach dużym zainteresowaniem. Powstają one zarówno w wersji drukowanej jak i online.  Dla wielu dziedzin wiedzy zostały już opracowane. W niniejszym artykule przyglądam się wybranym obcojęzycznym encyklopediom, słownikom i leksykonom poświęconym tradycyjnym strojom ludowym, narodowym czy etnicznym, aby wykazać, że publikacje te stanowią  ważne źródło dokumentacji niematerialnego dziedzictwa. Przybliżam także polskie próby stworzenia tego typu publikacji wraz z omówieniem ich układów.      
    Direct information publishers have attracted a lot of interest in the last few decades, they are created in print and online versions. They have already been developed in many areas of knowledge. In this article, I will look at selected foreign-language encyclopaedias, dictionaries and lexicons devoted to traditional folk, national or ethnic costumes to demon-strate that they are an important source of intangible heritage documentation. Polish attempts to create this type of publication and how their layout was planned were also presented.

    Głównym zagadnieniem będącym przedmiotem artykułu jest kwestia znaczenia wybranych zjawisk niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego miasta Krakowa dla tożsamości osób je kultywujących (depozytariuszy). Muzeum Krakowa od ponad 70 lat współpracuje ze społecznościami, które podtrzymują lokalne krakowskie tradycje. Początkowo były to społeczności związane z pochodem Lajkonika, szopkarstwem krakowskim i bractwem kurkowym, do których w ostatnich latach dołączyli flisacy wiślani oraz koronczarki krakowskie. Społeczności te współpracują z Muzeum Krakowa w obszarze dotyczącym ochrony i popularyzacji ich niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego. Jednocześnie pracownicy Muzeum Krakowa (Centrum Interpretacji Niematerialnego Dziedzictwa Krakowa, a do 2020 r. Działu Folkloru i Tradycji Krakowa) realizowali w ostatnich latach projekty badawcze, których celem było dokładniejsze rozpoznanie wymienionych środowisk, obejmujące również znaczenie kultywowanego przez ich przedstawicieli niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego dla ich tożsamości oraz rolę przekazu międzypokoleniowego. Zgromadzony w toku tych projektów materiał nie został jeszcze w pełni wykorzystany w naukowym dyskursie poświęconym niematerialnemu dziedzictwu kulturowemu. Przygotowywany artykuł będzie się opierał na tym obszernym materiale. Wnioski pomogą uzyskać odpowiedzi na pytania, jaki wpływ na życie osób i rodzin ma zaangażowanie w podtrzymywanie lokalnych tradycji, w jaki sposób odbywa się przekaz międzypokoleniowy oraz z jakimi wartościami łączy się niematerialne dziedzictwo dla jego depozytariuszy. Znaczenie tej kwestii wynika też bezpośrednio z definicji niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego z konwencji z 2003 r., zgodnie z którą za niematerialne dziedzictwo mogą zostać uznane zjawiska będące źródłem poczucia tożsamości i ciągłości międzypokoleniowej.
    The main issue that is the subject of the article is the question of the importance of selected phenomena of the city of Krakow’s intangible cultural heritage for the identity of those who cultivate it. For more than 70 years, the Museum of Kraków has been working with communities that cultivate local Krakow traditions. Initially, these were communities associated with the Lajkonik parade, the Krakow nativity scenes and the longbow fraternity, joined in recent years by Vistula rafters and Cracovian lace makers. These communities work with the Museum of Kraków for the protection and popularization of their intangible cultural heritage. At the same time, the staff of the Museum of Kraków (Center for the Interpretation of the Intangible Heritage of Krakow, until 2020, the Department of Folklore and Traditions of Krakow) have been carrying out research projects aimed at a more thorough identification of the aforementioned communities, including the importance of the intangible cultural heritage they cultivate for their members’ identity and the role of intergenerational transmission. The material gathered in the course of these projects has not yet been fully utilized in the scholarly discourse on intangible cultural heritage. The article in preparation will be based on this extensive material. Conclusions will help provide answers to questions such as the impact of involvement in maintaining local traditions on the lives of individuals and families, intergenerational transmission and the values intangible heritage is associated with for its keepers. The importance of the issue also stems directly from the 2003 Convention’s definition of intangible cultural heritage, according to which intangible heritage is made up by phenomena that provide a sense of identity and intergenerational continuity.

    The article discusses strategies to overcome the fear of the COVID-19 pandemic and its threats in the sphere of the intangible heritage in Poland and Belarus. The strategies are presented as activities that make an adaptive use of the measures for safeguarding recommended by the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage 2003. Activities to maintain the viability of the intangible heritage have both similarities and differences in both countries. The difference is revealed in the institutional sphere of heritage safeguarding. The similarities have a negative dimension (resignation from actions, disruptions in the transmission of knowledge) and a positive dimension (a two-model strategy of transforming traditional practices, the use of the Internet and multimedia instruments).

    This paper is devoted to the cultural heritage of the Podlasie region and in particular, the intangible heritage of culinary art. Changes in the definition of “intangible heritage” and the definitions related to culinary tourism are also discussed. The area of research has been defined as the Hajnówka county. On the basis of authors research examples of traditional dishes and products and the possibility of their use in order to increase the value of economically under-invested areas are considered. In addition, the paper presents cases of similar activities undertaken in Italy and Great Britain. To conclude, a comprehensive approach of combining tangible and intangible cultural heritage is proposed.

    In this article, which is the second part of the undertaken research, the authors wish to present examples of the intangible legacy of the presence of Jews in Międzyrzecz region. This area is treated as an example in order to show the potential of the Jewish cultural heritage of the Lubuska Land/ Lubuskie Voivodship. We are interested in intangible heritage – the memory of citizens of Jewish origin, contained in memoirs or biographies. We also attempt to reconstruct some fates. In this part of the research, the authors used the method of reconstruct some fates. In this part of the research, the authors used the method of reconstruction and deduction, analyzing and confronting memoirs with documents preserved in archives. Moreover, the sociological method of biographical research was used.
    W niniejszym artykule autorzy skupiają się na badaniu niematerialnego żydowskiego dziedzictwa na Ziemi Międzyrzeckiej. Obiektem zainteresowania są wspomnienia dawnych niemieckich mieszkańców Kreis Meseritz i ich konfrontacja z dokumentami zawartymi w archiwach Instytutu Yad Vashem.W ten sposób autorzy rekonstruują losy dawnych obywateli Kreis Meseritz żydowskiego pochodzenia. Ponadto w artykule zawarto refleksję nad sposobami upamiętnienia międzyrzeckich Żydów.
