    Opis:
    The paper focuses on the definition of innovation and innovation process from the historical and today’s perspective of the Massag engineering company. In order to analyse the innovation process, a SWOT analysis was performed, and, based on the results obtained, the correlation between the results of the analysis and the statistics of innovation activities in the Czech Republic was made. Within the historical analysis of the company, key innovation milestones were identified and described. The main finding was the combination of the use of different types of innovation activities, which plays an important role in terms of the access to innovations and it is necessary to take innovation as a whole, composed of sub-types of innovation that permeate the whole society. The results of the SWOT analysis showed that the main factor that affects the success of the organization and innovation is the long history of the company and knowledge of the markets. This is reflected in the long-term and quality customer relationships. These established contacts with other companies engaged in engineering production are strengths, which are today reflected in the opportunities for further development of the company. The correlation between results and statistics shows that SMEs are forced to innovate because they are under constant pressure from competitors and the market. Therefore, innovation activities are essential for these companies and play a significant role in their current and future competitiveness.

    Celem i przedmiotem niniejszej publikacji było przedstawienie roli przemian i przekształceńw strukturze przemysłowej gospodarki w Polsce. Powstała ona na podstawie ogólnodostępnej literatury,danych statystycznych i wiadomości netograficznych. W artykule przedstawiono pokrótce zmiany w rozwojuprzemysłu w Polsce, począwszy od lat dziewięćdziesiątych XX wieku do czasów współczesnych. Dokonanocharakterystyki skali tych zmian oraz omówiono najważniejsze przeobrażenia. Publikacja przybliża równieżtemat bieżących zadań polityki przemysłowej oraz wyzwań, jakie niesie ze sobą dla omawianej politykiczłonkostwo w strukturach Unii Europejskiej. Wskazano też najbardziej innowacyjne dziedziny przemysłui firmy, które je reprezentują. Podano także wielkość nakładów inwestycyjnych w przemyśle w Polsce w porównaniudo innych krajów europejskich. Dokonano charakterystyki zmian w handlu zagranicznym. Danezostały zilustrowane za pomocą tabel i wykresów. Metoda badawcza zastosowana w publikacji to analizadanych zastanych oraz krytyka piśmiennicza. Z przeprowadzonej analizy jasno wynika, że w ostatnich latachdoszło do znaczących przemian w strukturze przemysłu w Polsce. Jednak sam ten proces jeszcze się nie zakończyłi będzie postępował. W artykule oceniono zmiany, jakie zaszły, i wskazano możliwe ścieżki działania,jakimi należy podążać, aby poprawić obecną sytuację.
    The aim and the subject of the article is to present the role of change and transformation in the industrial structure of economy in Poland. The publication is based on the available printed literature, statistical data, as well as on news netography. The article briefly explains the changes in the industrial development in Poland from the 1990s to the present day. The scale of the changes that have occurred was determined, and the key areas of transformations that have taken place were discusses. The publication also includes information on current tasks of industrial policy and on the challenges facing said policy due to the involvement in the European Union structures. It also identifies the most innovative sectors of industry or companies that represent them. The size of investment in industry in Poland was compared to other European countries. Changes in the foreign trade were characterised. The data were illustrated with tables and graphs. The research method used is the analysis of existing data and critical analysis of written sources. Based on the available literature book, netography and statistics, it becomes clear that in recent years there has been a significant change in the structure of industry in Poland. However, the actual process is not finished and will continue. Through presenting statistical data analysis and available materials relating to industrial policy, the author evaluates the changes that have occurred, and indicates possible directions of improving the current situation.

    The article analyzes the textile industry of Kazakhstan, considers its main problems and gives the main ways to increase the competitiveness of the industry by increasing the innovative activity of textile enterprises. During the research, the following problems were identified: having various opportunities for the development of the textile industry in Kazakhstan, most of the raw materials necessary for textile products are exported without processing; low coverage of textile products in the domestic market, ensuring the studied requirements mainly due to the import of textile products; low competitiveness of textile enterprises, etc. Kazakhstan is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), therefore, indicators of textile production in these countries were considered for comparison. This study discusses the RCA index of textiles for the EAEU member countries. Today, the EAEU includes five member states: Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of this work is to analyze the textile industry status in Kazakhstan and provide ways to increase the innovative activity of textile enterprises. The article considers: (a) the status and key problems of the textile industry in Kazakhstan, (b) the innovative activity of enterprises in Kazakhstan, (c) ways to increase the innovative activity of textile enterprises in Kazakhstan. The article presents methods for increasing the innovative activity of textile enterprises. These are: (a) transition to the production of competitive innovative textile products from domestic textile raw materials, (b) increase in the share of export-oriented products, (c) introduction of new equipment and new production methods by attracting foreign direct investment in the industry, (d) filling the deficit of specialists by attracting specialists from abroad. The implementation of these methods can have a positive impact on the development of the textile industry in Kazakhstan.
    Artykuł analizuje przemysł tekstylny Kazachstanu, rozważa jego główne problemy i podaje główne sposoby na zwiększenie konkurencyjności przemysłu poprzez zwiększenie innowacyjnej działalności przedsiębiorstw tekstylnych. W trakcie badań zidentyfikowano następujące problemy: posiadające różne możliwości rozwoju w przemyśle tekstylnym w Kazachstanie większość surowców niezbędnych do produkcji wyrobów włókienniczych jest wywożona bez przetwarzania; niskie pokrycie wyrobów włókienniczych na rynku krajowym, zapewniając badane wymagania głównie ze względu na import wyrobów włókienniczych; niska konkurencyjność przedsiębiorstw tekstylnych itp. Kazachstan jest członkiem Eurazjatyckiej Unii Gospodarczej (EAEU), w związku z czym wzięto pod uwagę wskaźniki produkcji tekstylnej w tych krajach. W tym badaniu omówiono wskaźnik RCA tekstyliów dla krajów członkowskich EAEU. Dziś EAEU obejmuje pięć państw członkowskich: Białoruś, Kazachstan, Federację Rosyjską, Armenię i Republikę Kirgiską. Celem tej pracy jest analiza statusu przemysłu tekstylnego w Kazachstanie i zapewnienie sposobów na zwiększenie innowacyjnej działalności przedsiębiorstw tekstylnych. Artykuł rozważa: (a) status i kluczowe problemy przemysłu włókienniczego w Kazachstanie, (b) działalność innowacyjną przedsiębiorstw w Kazachstanie, (c) sposoby zwiększenia działalności innowacyjnej przedsiębiorstw tekstylnych w Kazachstanie. W artykule przedstawiono metody zwiększenia innowacyjnej działalności przedsiębiorstw tekstylnych. Są to: (a) przejście do produkcji konkurencyjnych innowacyjnych wyrobów włókienniczych z krajowych surowców tekstylnych, (b) wzrost udziału produktów zorientowanych na eksport, (c) wprowadzenie nowego sprzętu i nowych metod produkcji poprzez przyciągnięcie bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych w branży, (d) wypełnienie deficytu specjalistów poprzez przyciągnięcie specjalistów z zagranicy. Wdrożenie tych metod może mieć pozytywny wpływ na rozwój przemysłu tekstylnego w Kazachstanie.

    A modern business operator is entering the new industrial revolution era. New challanges requires adequate solutions and highly qualifed workers which are capable of meeting new market requirements. It is necessary to change the method of advanced vocational training and preparing employees to serve a new role as proffesionals in the foruth-generation industry.
