Filozof  prowadzi bowiem nieprzeciętne dociekania nad jednostką ludzką partycypującą w strukturze obywatelskiej. Głównym elementem rozważań badacza, jest tytułowe nieposłuszeństwo, które to zostaje rozpatrywane przez pryzmat filozofii, nauki, historii, a nawet sztuki.  Autor występuje w obronie humanizmu oraz rozsądku.
    The review of the book is intended to highlight the main aporias raised by the French philosopher. It is based on the assumption that reading Frédéric Gros' work is a valuable source of information for anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of both current and past social problems. The philosopher leads extraordinary research on the human individual who participates in the civic structure. The main element of the researcher's contemplation is the title disobedience, which is investigated through the prism of philosophy, science, history and even art. The author stands up for humanism and reason.

    In this article, we consider the relationship between obedience and freedom in the light of the thought of H. U. von Balthasar. On the example of Mary, the Swiss theologian notes the paradoxical reversal of the interdependence between obedience and individual freedom. Usually, the increase of obedience is associated with the restriction of freedom, whereas, according to Balthasar, Mary, showing her absolute obedience to God, attains the highest degree of human freedom. We try to display the relation noticed by Balthasar in the Christological dimension and then consider its implications in the universal-ecclesiological dimension, paying special attention to the conditions of imitating such an attitude by all Christians, but also to the dangers and threats arising from its misunderstanding.
    W artykule tym rozpatrzona zostanie relacja posłuszeństwo – wolność w świetle myśli H. U. von Balthasara. Na przykładzie Maryi szwajcarski teolog zauważa paradoksalne odwrócenie wzajemnej zależności pomiędzy postawą posłuszeństwa a wolnością jednostki. Zazwyczaj zwiększone posłuszeństwo kojarzy się z ograniczeniem wolności, tymczasem według Balthasara Maryja, okazując absolutne posłuszeństwo Bogu osiąga najwyższy stopień wolności ludzkiej. Zauważoną przez Balthasara zależność autor postara się naświetlić w wymiarze chrystologicznym, a następnie rozważyć jej implikacje w wymiarze uniwersalno-eklezjologicznym, zwracając szczególną uwagę na warunki naśladowania takiej postawy przez ogół chrześcijan, ale również na niebezpieczeństwa i zagrożenia, jakie płyną z błędnego jej rozumienia.

    Man is someone real and as such he is immersed in a world that is a task set to him as a person. Therefore, the whole world, as entirely coming from God, and entirely assigned to Him, is constantly bursting with its natural truth and good and, consequently, also beauty. This is an important perspective, both in the order of nature and in the order of grace, also because the synthesis and fulfilment of all values (perfections), which is personal fullness – holiness, is the ultimate reference of the human person to the Person of God. However, this perspective becomes comprehensible only in the field of the realism of the human person’s truth, goodness and beauty, related to their perfect Source, and therefore to the Truth, Goodness and Beauty of the Person of God Himself.In this sense, it can be said that God is the End of all perfections. Holiness itself is thus a specific peak of the elevation of human potentialities to a higher level of being. „Holiness, through the elevation of truth, goodness and beauty to the supernatural level, can fulfil the potential of human nature – reason and will, to their limits; and this fulfilment, in Christian thought, can only take place in visio beatifica, to which this life here and now is supposed to prepare us”. Let us add that the understanding and implementation of evangelical counsels: chastity, poverty and obedience, serve this growth in a particular way. The counsels are the evangelical factor stimulating and strengthening the work of the intellect and free will.

    W ramach współczesnej chrystologii, która powróciła do tradycji patrystycznej, a zwłaszcza do teologii św. Maksyma Wyznawcy, na nowo podkreśla się, że posłuszeństwo stanowi najwyższe wyrażenie życia i posłania Jezusa Chrystusa. W posłuszeństwie urzeczywistnia się osobowe utożsamienie bytu i misji Jezusa, wyrażające Jego relację do Boga Ojca i określające Jego wyjątkowość. Na tym gruncie można w sposób pogłębiony dokonywać interpretacji Jego dzieła na rzecz człowieka wykraczającego poza wszelkie redukcje immanentne. Takie ujęcie staje się potem punktem wyjścia do właściwego rozumienia i interpretowania dokonanego przez Niego dzieła zbawienia, a tym samym zawartego nowego przymierza. W niniejszym artykule zostaje ukazane posłuszeństwo Chrystusa w relacji do tajemnicy i dziejów przymierza, które stanowi niejako wstęp do właściwego ukazania formy i treści tego posłuszeństwa, a tym samym skonkretyzowania jego znaczenia soteriologicznego.
    Within the frames of contemporary Christology, which has returned to patristic tradition, it is once again emphasised that the obedience constitutes the highest manifestation of life and message of Jesus Christ. It is in obedience where personal identification of the being and mission of Jesus, expressing His relation with God the Father and defining His exceptionality, finds its realisation. This perspective allows a profound interpretation of Jesus’s work for the benefit of man, which goes beyond all immanent reductions. This view becomes also a starting point for the appropriate understanding and interpretation of the act of salvation and by the same token of the new covenant with God. This article presents the obedience of Christ in relation to the mystery and history of the covenant which constitutes, to some extent, an introduction to the correct representation of the form and content of this obedience and simultaneously to determination of its soteriological meaning.

Dziś, kiedy kultura jest w przeważającej mierze antychrześcijańska, przekazuje i promuje anty chrześcijańskie wzorce i wartości, jest szczególnie istotne, żeby wiara była wiarą odważną.
    The article reviews and analyses the history of Abraham and its existential implications. The author claims that the story reveals three particularly important aspects: the salvation as liberation from fear, deep freedom resulting from that experience and obedience to God as exceeding what is impossible to understand. All these interrelated aspects of Christian life are truly essential. Since modern culture seems to be predominantly and increasingly anti Christian and it shows and promotes anti Christian values and patterns of behaviour, it is particularly important for the faith to be a brave one.

    Christ’s obedience which belongs to the mystery of the covenant is characterized by a specific form and content. It is focused on the fulfilling of the will of the Father, constituting the raison d’etreof Jesus Christ and internally defining His entire mission of salvation.Addressing the issue of Christ’s obedience as a crucial dimension of His existence and His divine mission among people implies the reflection on His love, His will to give Himself to save the world and His freedom of the Son of God who became man “for us”.Thus, the Christology of obedience constitutes the foundation of anthropology and defines its appropriate form. Therefore, it is in Christ’s human freedom, based on and expressed in His obedience, where our freedom of men and Christians is decided.
