Wg źródeł biblijnych w czasie, gdy Izrael był minarchią, możliwe jest stwierdzenie istnienia specyficznej świadomości o roli króla w przymierzu zawartym między ludem i Bogiem. Ten wymagający i charyzmatyczny model ucieleśni się i zrelaizuje nie wcześniej niż z Mesjaszem-Królem, który w doskonały sposób objawi ojcostwo Boga.
The understanding of the origins, functions and duties of a monarchy in the ancient world was influenced by religious beliefs current at that time. This „theology” fundamentally impinged on the establishment of the concept and the character of „royal paternity” having previously determined the relations between the king himself and the supernatural world. According to biblical sources, at the time when Israel was a monarchy, it is possible to state that there was a specific awareness of the role of the king that consisted in stipulating the covenant between the nation and God. This demanding and charismatic model has been embodied and realised not until the moment when Messiah – the King who perfectly revealed God’s fatherhood

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienie dotyczące pedagogicznego modelu ojcostwa, przez który ukazano istotę ojcostwa, zadania i funkcje, jakie ma ojciec do spełnienia we współczesnej rodzinie. Pedagogiczny model ojcostwa przedstawiono jako określony konstrukt teoretyczny pożądanego, idealnego wizerunku ojcostwa. Termin ten oznacza zespół cech, właściwości indywidualnych: zewnętrznych i wewnętrznych ojca, zwłaszcza dotyczących jego zachowań werbalnych i instrumentalnych, relacji ojca z innymi członkami rodziny (dzieci, żona), charakteru, okazywanych uczuć, określonych postaw w procesie wychowania dziecka.
The article regards pedagogical model of fatherhood, through which the essence of fatherhood and the role and functions which fathers perform in the contemporary family are presented. The pedagogical model of fatherhood is portrayed as a specific theoretical construct of a desired, ideal image of fatherhood. This construct contains a set of characteristics and individual properties - external and internal of the father, in particular those related to his verbal and instrumental behaviors, relations with other members of the family (children, wife), character, emotions displayed, specific attitudes in the process of the child’s upbringing.

Aim: The aim of the article is to indicate how modern fatherhood is implemented in the era of the new reality Father does not have to maintain the family, he does not have to conquer, defend, but he should bring up the young generation well in a new reality, many families have to face different problems connecting the consistency in a family and upbringing issues. Modern fatherhood can be realized in different ways. Methods: In the research carried out using the questionnaire (interview) 699 fathers (aged 25–55) of early school–age children took part. The research was carried out in Poland between 2018 and 2020. Results: This article describes research results on educational models which are preferred by the youngest and the oldest fathers of early school-age children, educational methods transferred to the families by respondents, lack of relations with their fathers, people to whom children confide their problems and fathers’ reactions to children’s troubles. Conclusions: Despite many changes in the role of the father in the family, he still remains an open to the world for his children, which completes the educational process of the young generation.

CEL NAUKOWY: Celem artykułu jest wykazanie zasadności działań umożliwiających świadome przygotowanie do pełnienia roli ojca. PROBLEM I METODY BADAWCZE: Dla jakich powodów warto zabiegać o przygotowanie przyszłych ojców do stojących przed nimi zadań. Do rozwiązania problemu zostanie wykorzystana literatura przedmiotu analizowana metodą analityczno-syntetyczną.  PROCES WYWODU: Na podstawie ważniejszych aspektów duchowości omówiono zadania wynikające z bycia ojcem oraz kierunki podejmowanych inicjatyw wychowawczych. WYNIKI ANALIZY NAUKOWEJ: Ojcostwo obejmuje zarówno sferę życia biologicznego, jak i duchowego (wewnętrznego). To zaś domaga się inicjatyw ułatwiających dziecku odkrycie, że jest kochane. Temu poczuciu sprzyja poszanowanie podmiotowości nie tylko ojca, ale też i dziecka. Chodzi o doświadczanie wolności, z której dziecko w pełni nie jest jeszcze w stanie korzystać. Ojciec świadomy tych ograniczeń dziecka towarzyszy mu w osiąganiu dojrzałości. WNIOSKI, INNOWACJE, REKOMENDACJE: Przeprowadzony wywód zdaje się potwierdzać zasadność uświadamiania dorosłym potrzeby kształtowania osobowych relacji ojciec–dziecko.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The aim of the article is to show the legitimacy of actions enabling conscious preparation for fulfilling the role of a father. THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: The article aims to answer the question about the reasons why it is worth striving for the preparation of future fathers for the tasks that they face up. The literature on the subject will be used to solve the problem, analyzed by the analytical – synthetic method.  THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: Based on the most important aspects of spirituality, both the tasks resulting from being a father and the directions of undertaken educational initiatives were discussed, as well. RESEARCH RESULTS: Being a father is associated not only with biological but also spiritual (internal) fatherhood. This demands initiatives that make it easier for the child to discover that he/ she is loved. This feeling is fostered by respect for the subjectivity of not only the father, but also the child. Here, it is about experiencing a freedom that the child is not able to use it yet. The father, aware of these limitations of the child, accompanies him/her in reaching maturity. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: The presented process of argu‑ mentation seems to confirm the legitimacy of making adults aware of the need to shape personal father–child relationships

This text discusses the issue on models of fatherhood in both traditional and contemporary terms, in the perspective of male involvement in family life, in the process of raising a child. The authors postulate the need for pedagogical change, as a result of which more will be underlined the participation of the father in family education process. This is a current topic and important from a pedagogical point of view. New, changing conditions of family life raises a number of questions about the role that the father should act as in the family, in the process of the child’s upbringing.

The present text deals with the role of contemporary father evolves in connection with cultural changes, globalisation, medialization and technological progress. Such a role involves participation and acceptance of the new model of activity. The family life is more threatened with family members lack of integration, conflict spouses, freedom in marriage and weakening emotional bond between family members. The article deals with an analysis of father s roles in early primary scool education. It elaborates consists of two parts-theoretical one and research results. An importatnt element of of the analysis is cooperation between fathers and teachers. Father /family as a smallest social unit and the basic educational environment can help and support children success. Many factors such as age, education, environment influence fathers s activity. The variety of the research conducted among 669 fathers of early school-age children. It was carried out in the years 2018–2020 in 2020 in Poland.
Niniejszy tekst dotyczy roli współczesnego ojca w edukacji dzieci w wieku wczesnoszkolnym. Rola ta ulega przemianom w związku ze zmianami kulturowymi, globalizacją, medializacją, technicyzacją. Wymaga od ojców zaangażowania oraz przyjęcia nowego modelu aktywności, w szczególności kiedy życiu wspólnoty rodzinnej coraz bardziej zagraża brak poczucia integracji, konfliktowość małżeńska, podkreślanie wolności w małżeństwie, osłabienie więzi emocjonalnych. W tekście artykułu dokonano analizy zmian, jakie nastąpiły we współczesnych rolach ojców w zakresie ich zaangażowania w proces kształcenia i wychowania. Opracowanie składa się z części teoretycznej i analizy uzyskanych wyników badań. Ważnym zagadnieniem jest współpraca ojca/rodziny ze szkołą, ponieważ stanowi ona podstawowe środowisko wychowawcze dziecka, stanowiące o jego sukcesie edukacyjnym. Wiele zmiennych, jak wskazują uzyskane wyniki badań, decyduje o aktywności ojców; są to wiek, wykształcenie, środowisko terytorialne. W przeprowadzonych badaniach wzięło udział ogółem 669 ojców dzieci w wieku wczesnoszkolnym. Badania przeprowadzono w latach 2018–2020 w Polsce.

The problems of fatherhood have become today a matter of interest for many learned areas and disciplines. The role of meaning of the father in a family system is also one of the basic aspects of the studies on the family. This publication if an evidence of that interest. It consists of two principal parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part discusses the problems of the biblical and theological understanding of fatherhood as well as the contemporary issues of fatherhood. The second part presents a strategy of research and an quantitative analysis of the findings. The studies use the method of psychological questionnaire. Their goal was to examine the role of the father in a family system. Particular questions dealt with the following issues: religiousness that secondary school graduates declared, interpersonal relations with fathers, assessment of the father's personality (positive and negative), an image of the ideal father, father's participation in the process of upbringing, father's influence on his children's religious formation, father-mother relationship, children's respect towards their father, and an image of the father inherited in childhood. The whole of the study has been crowned with a summary, conclusions, and bibliography. It is worth adding that the studies provided a complete answer to the questions in the questionnaire. They showed an image of the father in the contemporary Polish family according to secondary school leavers. The studies' value resides also in this that they covered a very numerous group (867 persons).

Zaburzenia ze spektrum autyzmu (autism spectrum disorders, ASD) obecnie diagnozowane są coraz częściej. Niezależnie od przyczyn wyjaśniających dane zjawisko zagadnienie to dotyczy coraz większej liczby rodzin. Ostatnie dekady przyniosły imponujący wzrost liczby badań obejmujących liczne wątki tematyczne w tym dotyczące rodzicielstwa a ich wyniki wskazują, że skutki posiadania dziecka z ASD podobnie jak samo zaburzenie są wieloaspektowe, złożone i obciążające, wpływając na wszystkie obszary funkcjonowania rodziców i rodziny. Na tle ogólnej liczby badań nad rodzicielstwem niewiele jest tych, które podmiotem swoich dociekań uczyniły ojców dzieci z ASD. Artykuł przedstawia przegląd wyników badań skoncentrowanych na doświadczeniach rodziców w tym na doświadczeniach ojców.
Nowadays, autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are diagnosed with increasing frequency. Regardless of the reasons that explain the phenomenon, more and more families are affected. Recent decades have seen an impressive increase in the number of studies covering a wide range of connected topics, including parenting. The results of ongoing research indicate that the effects of having a child with ASD – just like the disorder itself – are multifaceted, complex, and debilitating, affecting all areas in which parents and families function. Against the background of the global number of studies on parenting, there are only few that have focused on fathers of children with ASD as the subject of their inquiry. This article presents an overview of research findings focused on the experiences of parents, including the experiences of fathers.

The article attempts to show the family in the teaching of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński from a pedagogical perspective. Parenthood understood by the Primate as a gift and task was presented. The importance of the family in national and social life and upbringing in the family in Wyszyński’s social thought were presented.

W artykule podjęta została problematyka rozwodu i jego konsekwencji dla funkcjonowania dziecka. Wskazane zostały najczęściej podawane przyczyny rozwodu oraz wybrane teorie, które mogą być wykorzystywane w podejmowanej w artykule problematyce. Podjęte zostało również zagadnienie rozwodu jako sytuacji trudnej, „zdarzenia krytycznego”, „trajektorii cierpienia”. Ukazano dziecko w sytuacji kryzysu rozwodowego, charakteryzując stadia rozwodu przez jakie przechodzi dziecko jego doświadczające. Zaprezentowane zostały również emocje towarzyszące dziecku w obliczu rozwodu rodziców.  Kolejnym zagadnieniem poruszonym w artykule były sposoby radzenia sobie dziecka z rozwodem rodziców. Wskazane zostały czynniki sprzyjające pozytywnej adaptacji dziecka do sytuacji w jakiej się znajduje podczas rozwodu rodziców. W artykule zaprezentowano również implikacje pedagogiczne dotyczące tego, jak wspierać dziecko w sytuacji rozstania rodziców.
The article discusses the issue of divorce and its consequences for the functioning of the child. The most frequently mentioned reasons for divorce and selected theories than can be used in the article’s issues are indicated. The issue of divorce as a difficult situation has also been addressed, ‘critical events’, ‘trajectories od suffering’. The child is shown in a situation of a divorce crisis, characterizing the stages of divorce that the experiencing child goes through. The emotions accompanying the child in the face of parents' divorce were also presented. Another issue raised in the article was how the child copes with the parents’ divorce. Factors conductive to the positive adaptation of the child to divorce have been identified. The article also presents the pedagogical implications of how to support the child when parents break up.

W artykule podjęta została próba ukazania roli rodziny w myśli Józefa Tischnera z perspektywy pedagogicznej. Kolejno ukazano potrzebę dialogu w rodzinie. Przedstawiono znaczenie rodziny jako źródła miłości i odpowiedzialności. Zaprezentowano wychowanie w rodzinie w ujęciu Józefa Tischnera.
The paper is an attempt to show from the pedagogical perspective the role of the family in Jozef Tischner’s thought. The article also points at the need for dialogue in the family. The family is a source of love and responsibility as well. Finally, the paper also accounts for how Tischner viewed children’s upbringing.

Szukając źródeł „indoeuropejskiej” wizji ojcostwa można za wskazaniem Georgesa Dumézila zwrócić się w stronę Indii i najstarszego zachowanego tekstu religij nego z tego kręgu kulturowego: Rigwedy. Rigweda jest pierwszą z Wed, najbardziej autorytatywnych ksiąg hinduizmu. Ojcostwo w hymnach Rigwedy posiada wiele konotacji i przywoływane jest w różnych sytuacjach. Pojawiają się odniesienia do ojcostwa wśród Bogów, Mędrców, Przodków i do ojcostwa ziemskiego. Ojcostwo wśród Bogów pojawia się w opisywaniu relacji genealogicznych między Bogami oraz innymi istotami czy zjawiskami nadprzyrodzonymi, a także jako metaforyczne uwznioślenie Bogów. Ojcostwo przywoływane jest także w określeniach relacji między ludźmi a Bogami: konkretnymi Bogami lub ich całą zbiorowością. Jako ojcowie ludzi określani są także Mędrcy. Ojcostwo pojawia się w odniesieniach do Przodków - godnych naśladowania twórców tradycji. Przywoływane jest także ojcostwo ludzkie, ziemskie.
When searching for the “Indo-European” vision of fatherhood, following the advice of Georges Dumézil, one can turn to India and the oldest surviving religious text of this culture: the Rigveda. Rigveda is the fi rst of the Vedas, the most authoritative scriptures of Hinduism. Fatherhood in the hymns of Rigveda has numerous connotations, and is evoked in various situations. There are references to fatherhood among Gods, Seers, Ancestors as well as to the earthly fatherhood. Fatherhood among Gods is evoked in the description of genealogical relationship among Gods and other supernatural beings or phenomena and also as metaphorical idealisation of the Gods. Fatherhood is also evoked in the defi ning of the relationship between humans and Gods: particular Gods or their whole community. The Seers are also described as the fathers of mankind. Fatherhood appears in the references to the Ancestors – the creators of tradition, worthy of imitation. Human, earthly fatherhood is also evoked.

Opis:
Celem artykułu jest refleksja nad przemianami roli ojca w kontekście zachodzących zmian społeczno-kulturowych. Rola ojca wiąże się z określonym zespołem zadań, norm i oczekiwań, które ulegają zmianie. W artykule podjęta została problematyka ojcostwa w tradycyjnym ujęciu, by na jego kanwie zaprezentować współczesne postrzeganie: roli ojca w rozwoju dziecka, wpisanych w rolę funkcji i zadań. Problematyka współczesnego ojcostwa analizowana jest w kategoriach ojcostwa zaangażowanego. Uwaga autorki koncentruje się również na przekazie wartości przez ojca.
The aim of the article is to reflect on the changes in the role of the father in the context of socio-cultural changes. The role of the father is associated with specific tasks, norms and expectations that are changing. The article deals with the issue of fatherhood in a traditional approach, to present in this way a contemporary perception of the father's role in child development and the role of functions and tasks related.  The issue of modern fatherhood is analysed in terms of committed paternity. The author's attention is also focused on the transmission of value by the father.
