    Opis:
    Second Vatican Council took over from the first Vatican Council the doctrine on infallible teaching of the Bishop of Rome, approved it and presented in more complete context. It is the teaching of Dogmatic Constitution on the Church Lumen gentium on infallibility of bishops when together with the pope they exercise the Church's Magisterium, and on supernatural sense of faith of all people, thanks to which they cannot get lost in faith. International Theological Commission issued “Sensus fidei” in the life of the Church, a document which deals with the issue of supernatural sense of faith of all people of God. This document presents sufficient theology of sensus fidei and therefore it is possible to attempt to place the dogma about the pope’s infallibility into more complete context which sensus fidei is a part of. Three carriers of infallibility in the Church: the pope, the college of bishops and sensus fidei are complementary to one another when it comes to explanation and defence of the divine Revelation. None of them can form anything new in relation to the Revelation. All together serve infallibility given to the Church by the Spirit of Truth.

    Artykuł prezentuje nauczanie Marcina Lutra na temat usprawiedliwienia w kontekście jego soteriologicznych i antropologicznych konsekwencji, które na poziomie werbalnym wyznaczają pojęcia imputatio i deificatio. Zasadniczą prezentację głównych aspektów tego nauczania poprzedza szkic historycznego tła jego sfomułowania, gdzie istotną rolę odgrywał zarówno spór o odpusty, jak i mistyczne inspiracje teologii Lutra. Wittenberski Reformator ujmował usprawiedliwienie zarówno jako przypisanie wierzącemu sprawiedliwości Chrystusa, jak i ścisłe zjednoczenie z Nim. Owa jedność, której obrazem jest małżeństwo, polega na commercium sacrum między człowiekiem a Chrystusem. Uczestnictwo wierzącego w sprawiedliwości Chrystusa objawia się więc jako rodzaj „przejścia” w Chrystusa. W tym sensie egzystencja usprawiedliwionego staje się egzystencją „ekstatyczną”, extra se, czyli w Bogu, skutkując tym samym nowym – przebóstwionym (vergottet) – życiem.
    The article presents Martin Luther's teaching on justification in the context of its soteriological and anthropological consequences, which at least on the verbal level are defined by the terms imputatio and deificatio. The basic presentation of the main aspects of this teaching is preceded by an outline of the historical background of its formation, where both the dispute over indulgences and the mystical inspirations of Luther's theology played a significant role. The Wittenberg Reformer comprehended justification both as attributing to the believer the righteousness of Christ and as a close union with Him. This unity, whose image is marriage, consists in the commercium sacrum between man and Christ. The participation of a believer in the righteousness of Christ manifests itself as a kind of "transition" into Christ. In this sense, the existence of the justified person becomes an "ecstatic" existence, extra se, that is in God, resulting as a new – divinized (vergottet) – life.
    Der Artikel behandelt die Lehre Luthers über die Rechtfertigung im Kontext ihrer soteriologischen und anthropologischen Konsequenzen, welche auf der verbalen Ebene in den Begriffen imputatio und deificatio widergegeben werden. Dem Hauptteil über die wichtigsten Aspekte dieser Lehre wird eine Skizze ihrer historischen Hintergründe vorangestellt, in denen eine wichtige Rolle sowohl im Streit über die Ablässe als auch die mystischen Aspirationen von Luthers Theologie genannt wird. Der Wittenberger Reformator verstand die Rechtfertigung sowohl als die Zuschreibung der Gerechtigkeit Christi an den Glaubenden und auch als eine innige Vereinigung mit Christus. Diese Einheit, die im Bild der Ehe wiedergegeben wird, besteht in commercium sacrum zwischen dem Menschen und Christus. Die Teilnahme des Glaubenden an der Gerechtigkeit Christi offenbart sich also als seine Art „Durchgang” in Christus. In diesem Sinn wird die Existenz des Glaubenden zu einer „ekstatischen Existenz“, extra se, also in Gott, was sich in einem neuen, vergöttlichten (vergottetem) Leben zeigt.

    The article presents Luther’s teaching on justification by faith and its theological implications. In the doctrine of justification, the Reformer of Wittenberg found a way to free itself from doubts about salvation, concluding that not deeds and confession of sins before God, but only faith makes righteousness before God. Luther’s new perspective on the relation of man to God can be called a “leap of faith”. According to the Father of the Reformation, faith itself is enough for being sure of one’s own salvation. In this view, faith is identified with salvation. The basis of Luther’s conception of faith lies in his theological anthropology and its implications have become evident in ecclesiology.
    Artykuł stanowi prezentację nauczania Lutra na temat usprawiedliwiającej wiary i wynikających stąd niektórych teologicznych implikacji. W nauce o usprawiedliwieniu Reformator z Wittenbergi znalazł sposób na uwolnienie się od wątpliwości w kwestii zbawienia, dochodząc do wniosku, że nie uczynki i wyznawanie przed Bogiem swoich niepowodzeń, lecz jedynie wiara czyni sprawiedliwym przed Bogiem. Zaproponowaną przez Lutra nową perspektywę spojrzenia na relację człowieka do Boga można nazwać „skokiem wiary”. Według Ojca Reformacji sama wiara wystarczy, by być pewnym swego zbawienia w sposób ostateczny. W tym ujęciu wiara utożsamia się z pewnością zbawienia. Podłoże Lutrowej koncepcji wiary znajduje się w jego teologicznej antropologii, zaś jej implikacje stały się widoczne w eklezjologii.

    W artykule przeanalizowano kwestię usprawiedliwienia przez wiarę z perspektywy Wspólnej Deklaracji (WD) oraz na bazie dwóch komentarzy Marcina Lutra: Wykładu Listu do Rzymian (1516) oraz Komentarza do Listu do Galatów (1535). Ponieważ komentarze pochodzą z różnych okresów twórczości Lutra, dobrze obrazują rozwój koncepcji usprawiedliwienia przez wiarę. Omówione zostały te aspekty usprawiedliwienia, które jako kluczowe wymienia Wspólna Deklaracja w punkcie 11: usprawiedliwienie jako odpuszczenie grzechów, wyzwolenie z mocy grzechu i śmierci, wyzwolenie od przekleństwa zakonu, jako społeczność z Bogiem i jako zjednoczenie z Chrystusem, Jego śmiercią i zmartwychwstaniem. Każdy z omawianych aspektów kończy się podsumowaniem ukazującym podobieństwa i różnice między Lutrowym ujęciem usprawiedliwienia a interpretacją nauki o usprawiedliwieniu w WD.
    The article analyzes the issue of justification trough faith on the basis of the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification and two commentaries by Martin Luther — Lectures on Romans (1516) and Commentary on the Epistle to the Galatians (1535). The discussed aspects of justification are mentioned in the Joint Declaration in point 11: justification as forgiveness of sins (cf. Rom 3:23-25); as liberation from the dominating power of sin and death (Rom 5:12-21); as liberation from the curse of the law (Gal 3:10-14); as acceptance into communion with God: already now, but then fully in God’s coming kingdom (Rom 5:1f); and as unity with Christ and with his death and resurrection (Rom 6:5). Each of these aspects ends with a summary showing the similarities and differences between Luther’s approach to justification and the interpretation of the doctrine of justification in the Joint Declaration.
