Współczesna posługa katechetyczna Kościoła, jak całość działań ewangelizacyjnych, podlega nieustannej refleksji, a dzięki temu poszukuje nowych rozwiązań dla jeszcze skuteczniejszej edukacji i wychowania. Refleksja ta dokonuje się także w obrębie badań nad językiem katechezy i formami przekazu treści katechetycznych, których fundamentem staje się niewątpliwie rozumienie człowieka, jego godności i tożsamości. Wśród wypracowanych przez wieki narzędzi językowych i form przekazu Bożego Słowa istnieje przestrzeń świadectwa wiary i nawrócenia, które właściwie wyartykułowane, pobudzają słuchacza do rozwoju religijnego i właściwej owocnej przemiany na drodze wiary. Niniejsze opracowanie analizuje wykorzystanie w katechezie świadectwa jako formy przekazu treści katechetycznych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem faktu nawrócenia.
Contemporary catechetical ministry of the Church as a whole evangelistic subject come under constant reflection, and thus looks for new solutions for more effective education and upbringing. This reflection is also carried out within the study of language catechesis and catechetical forms of media content, which the foundation is undoubtedly the understanding of man, his dignity and identity. Among developed through centuries of linguistic tools and forms of communication of God’s Word, there is space testimony of faith and conversion, which stimulates the listener properly articulated in religious development and proper fruitful transformed by faith. In this paper we look at the use of certificates in catechesis, as a form of media catechetical content, taking particular account of conversion to the faith.

In most European countries religion is taught within the frames of the system of public education, although the status of the teaching is different in different countries. In the face of dynamic cultural changes, to which modern European societies are subject, ever more often discussion is launched on the shape of religion teaching. Also in Poland the conception of religion teaching is constantly looked for, and attempts are made to define its relation to parish catechesis. In this context the models of religion teaching existing in Europe have been subjected to analysis. The aim of the present article is answering the questions: what models of religion teaching are most frequently used in Europe and what are their characteristic features? Taking into consideration the criterion of confession, confessional and non-confessional models are distinguished. With respect to the level of realization of the catechetical function and the function of school the former ones are divided into two categories: catechetical-evangelizing and informational-educational. Non-confessional models, in turn, are systematized in three groups: Christian – the supra-confessional model, religious studies and interreligious model.

This article discusses the document Meeting Jesus, presented by the Italian Episcopal Commission. In seeking to give guide-lines for the proclamation and catechesis of the faith in Italy it becomes one of the most important documents in recent years that deal with the new evangelization that assists the whole Church in the announcing of the Gospel and the journey of faith.The document highlights certain homogeneity in reading the cultural, social, ecclesial and pastoral situation in which the pro-cesses of formation and education are realized. This helps the development of the “catechetical needs” and the specific paths of di-ocesan and national guidelines. It also reveals the possibility of a comparison at the inter-diocesan level between formators and a mutual support in the evaluation of projects and activity. To realize the training of formators and of members of the diocesan teams “in the wise work of coordinating and leading” it is important to work on the same lines proposed by the Guidelines.

This article discusses the current situation of the Church resulting from the epidemic threat of the coronavirus. It indicates how we can teach religious education online, using particular platforms and educational websites, as well as instant messengers and other internet services, to make them tools of catechesis and evangelization. The author emphasizes the spiritual contact of the faithful who, through the media, can participate in Holy Masses and receive the Spiritual Communion. She underlines the role of the proper use of mass media in the work of catechesis and evangelization. The author encourages people responsible for catechesis to be creative in the remote proclamation of the redemptive message, and to use all the available didactic resources and methods.

Opis:
The transmission of the Christian Message requires the commitment of the intellect and life of those who embrace the kerygma, as well as the special vigilance of those who are evangelizers. The reality is too dynamic to ignore the necessity of human diagnosis and the current condition of the generation it represents. This article is addressed to Catholics who are not indifferent to the issue of effectively handing over the deposit of faith. The author, being pastorally involved in the affairs of contemporary Poles, sees the need to convince about the threat posed by the temptation to turn Christianity into a civic religion. Observing, especially the young generation of his countrymen, the author forecasts such a close connection of national matters with the message of Jesus Christ, which is detrimental to the cause of evangelization.

Artykuł wskazuje najlepszy model formacji dorosłych oraz inne kwestie wpływające na skuteczność tej formy posługi Słowa, która pozostaje dziś ogromną szansą poradzenia sobie z wyzwaniami obecnego czasu.
In this article the author makes the characteristics of contemporary adult catechesis in the light of the Church's call for a new evangelization. The Church as the Christian community, who received from Jesus Christ's missionary mandate is required to care for adult Christians to live every day adult faith. Church admitted that the task of prime importance catechesis of adults. Adult Catechesis calls for a meeting of the ecclesial community, which is the womb of the nascent faith. The role of the community's help in finding a man's life the seeds of life and showing fruit of life through the testimony of participants in catechesis. The author believes that if the formation of adult Christians should lead to build a mature community, it must also admit adult crucial role in this process and make it the primary recipient of the action. This means recognizing someone as an adult more than the disciple, but partner through the development of a common faith. The catechumenal road is a proposal of a mature method of developing. In the formation of mature Christian we should also consider preparing for spiritual discernment and to contribute to the development of modern culture. The criterion of maturity in faith is the ability to undertake the evangelization of himself and others .
L’autore descrive caratteristiche contemporanee di catechesi degli adulti alla luce di chiamata della Chiesa per una nuova evangelizzazione. Nei documenti della Chiesa si sottolinea la primaria importanza e la funzione della catechesi degli adulti. Essa richiede la convocazione della comunità ecclesiale, che diventa seno nascente e sostenente della fede. Il coinvolgimento dei cristiani adulti nella maturazione della fede tramite la costruzione di una comunità matura gioca un ruolo chiave nella nuova evangelizzazione. Adulto è il destinatario principale delle azioni salvifiche della Chiesa. Kościół od chwili swoich narodzin w dniu Zielonych Świąt otrzymał w darze od Ducha Świętego zdolność ewangelizowania i katechizowania. Jest On głównym sprawcą całego dzieła katechizacji i Wewnętrznym Nauczycielem zarówno katechetów jak i katechizowanych. Katecheza więc, która jako wzrastanie w wierze w życiu chrześcijańskim dojrzewającym ku pełni, jest w konsekwencji dziełem Ducha Świętego, dziełem, które On nieustannie w Kościele wzbudza i podtrzymuje. Poprzez słowo Boże zamieszkuje w człowieku jak w świątyni i od wewnątrz go oświeca i pomaga żyć zgodnie z Ewangelią. Owo zamieszkanie Ducha Świętego w człowieku sprawia konsekrację całej jego osoby. Jest to konsekracja uświęcająca całego człowieka. To również personalizacja człowieka: nowy człowiek (Ef 4,24), nowe stworzenie (2 Kor 5,17) jest dziełem Ducha Świętego obecnego w człowieku. Duch Święty, jako podmiot katechizacji, jest również źródłem nowej katechezy, która nie jest nową doktryną, lecz przede wszystkim nową metodologią katechizacji. Nowość katechizacji odnosi się do nowej postawy i stylu, nowego wysiłku i programu, nowego zapału, nowych metod i środków oddziaływania tak, aby umożliwić katechizowanym ponowne lub nowe spotkanie z Chrystusem. Chodzi o nowe rozbudzenie serca „przez Ducha Świętego, który został nam dany” (Rz 5,5). Za wstawiennictwem Matki Najświętszej Dziewicy Zielonych Świąt, obecny w Kościele, Duch Prawdy prowadzi wszystkich do całej prawdy (por. J 16,13).
Since its birth on Pentecost, the Church has received the ability to evangelize and catechize as a gift from the Holy Spirit. He is the principal author of the entire work of catechesis and the Inner Teacher of both those who teach catechism and those who are taught. Catechesis, therefore, which is growth in faith and a Christian life that matures to its fullness, is consequently the work of the Holy Spirit, a work that He incessantly awakens and sustains in the Church. Through the word of God, the Holy Spirit dwells in the human person as if in a temple and enlightens him from within and helps him to live according to the Gospel. This dwelling of the Holy Spirit in man consecrates the entire person. It is a consecration sanctifying the whole person. It is also the personalization of man: the new man (Ephesians 4:24), the new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) is the work of the Holy Spirit present in man. The Holy Spirit as the subject of catechesis is also the source of the new catechesis, which is not a new doctrine, but above all a new methodology of catechesis. The newness of catechesis lies in a new attitude and style, a new effort and program, new enthusiasm, new methods and means of influencing those taught catechism to enable them to meet anew or for the first time with Christ. It is a new awakening of the heart “by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:5). Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Pentecost, the Spirit of Truth present in the Church leads everyone to all truth (cf. Jn 16:13).

The educational function of the community is fulfilled through teaching,liturgy and pastoral undertakings. These are the fundamental functions ofthe Church. If the Good News which the Church proclaims is to remain theLight “which enlightens every man coming into the world”, the Church mustremain the guarantor of conscience, its guardian, and the defender of theperson, thus of humanity itself. The ecclesial character of Christian moralitydoes not take away from conscience per se. It simply points to a need for itsecclesial interpretation since, apart from God, there is no other immutablebasis for the absolute character of law and moral obligation.The parish plays an important role in the integral education of humansand the development of their faith. It is the most significant place in whichthe Christian community is formed. The parish, therefore, becomes a pointof reference for persons seeking a living Church, looking for a placeof authentic prayer and dialogue, a friendly community which attracts by means of an authentic Christian lifestyle. It is the community of faiththat makes catechesis alive in its teaching, celebration (liturgy), as wellas practice (diaconate). Thanks to these activities, meeting the Church inthe parish becomes real and immediate – it is here that the daily life of thefaithful encounters the reality of Salvation.

Związek liturgii i katechezy zaznacza się od początków istnienia i działania Kościoła. Te dwie rzeczywistości związane są ze sobą poprzez ich wzajemny udział w dziele ewangelizacji. Analiza istoty katechezy oraz liturgii prowadzi do odkrycia ich podobieństwa, wyrażającego się w odniesieniu obu z nich do Misterium Chrystusa oraz do życia chrześcijańskiego. Łączność katechezy i liturgii można także widzieć w ich wspólnym celu, którym jest zjednoczenie z Chrystusem, skutkujące egzystencjalną przemianą życia wierzącego. Katecheza i liturgia mając za podstawę Misterium Chrystusa i prowadząc do pełni życia chrześcijańskiego są wobec siebie paralelne. Dopiero w ich wzajemnym powiązaniu ewangelizacja może osiągnąć swój cel – wiarę, która będzie określała całokształt życia człowieka. Mimo podkreślanego paralelizmu katecheza spełnia wobec liturgii rolę służebną, co jest uwarunkowane sakramentalną obecnością w niej Chrystusa i Jego dzieła zbawczego.
The connection between liturgy and catechesis has been marked since the beginning of the existence and work of the Church. These two realities are connected with each other by their mutual participation in the work of evangelization. Analysis of the essence of catechesis and liturgy leads to discovering their similarity that is expressed in relating both of them to the Mystery of Christ and to Christian life. The bond of catechesis and liturgy can also be seen in their common aim, which is unification with Christ that results in existential change of the believer’s life. Catechesis and liturgy that have Mystery of Christ as their basis and lead to complete Christian life are parallel to each other. It is only in their mutual bond that evangelization can achieve its aim—faith that will define the whole of a man’s life. Despite the emphasized parallelism catechesis plays an ancillary role to liturgy, which is conditioned by the sacramental presence of Christ and His salutary work in it.

Nowadays the Church has a great challenge connected with taking up evangelization again. It must be an answer to signs of the times, to the needs of present people and to the conditions in which the man lives. In these complex and difficult realities there is a need for Christians capable of sharing their faith, who will keep on preaching with fervour and apostolic enthusiasm. As it is indicated in Instrumentum laboris, catechists can cope with this task. They are the subjects of passing on the faith and they are responsible for its preaching. In the document there are suggestions about how they should carry out their mission. However, they need more detailed elaboration. All these matters are to be discussed during 13th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops. We must hope that they will meet specific solutions, becoming an impulse to greater involvement in passing on the faith by catechists participating in the new evangelization through their service.

W Kościele istnieje ciągła potrzeba głoszenia Ewangelii młodym. Kościół pragnie dobrze rozeznać i zidentyfikować najbardziej skuteczne sposoby głoszenia Dobrej Nowiny kolejnym pokoleniom. Lekcja religii może stać się miejscem głoszenia Dobrej Nowiny. Środowisko szkolne ewangelizatorzy mogą ożywić przez takie treści, takie środki, taką dynamikę, które natchnione są Duchem Bożym. Od starożytności w Kościele są obecne różne modele ewangelizacji. Ewangelizacja ta zawsze czerpała ze słowa Bożego. Współczesny ewangelizator powinien najpierw rozeznać sytuację, w której przychodzi mu zwiastować słowo Boże i posłużyć się najbardziej odpowiednią strategią ewangelizacji. Te strategie są możliwe do wykorzystania w katechezie. Dziś katecheza korzysta z wielu metod ewangelizacji. Często spotyka się w niej metody wypracowane w Szkole Nowej Ewangelizacji. To staje się szansą dotarcia z orędziem Ewangelii do nowych pokoleń i rozbudzenia w nich radości wiary.
There is a constant need to preach the Gospel to young people in the Church. The Church wants to realize and identify the most effective ways to proclaim the Good News to the next generations. The lesson of religious education can become a place to preach the Good News. Evangelizers can revitalize the school environment through such content, such methods and such dynamics that are inspired by the Spirit of God. Various models of evangelization have been present in the Church since ancient times. This evangelization has always derived from the Word of God. The contemporary evangelist should first realize the situation in which he announces the Word of God and later should use the most appropriate strategy of evangelization. These strategies may be used during catechesis / religious education. Nowadays, it uses many methods of evangelization. One may often encounter the methods developed at the School of New Evangelization. This becomes an opportunity to deliver the message of the Gospel to the new generations and to awaken the joy of faith in them.

Opis:
Religious Education was reintroduced to state Polish schools in September 1990. The par- ticipation is not obligatory and it depends on parents and pupils. Sociological studies show that Religious Education has far more supporters than opponents which, undoubtedly, is the pastoral success of the Catholic Church. Despite the fact that in the last few years the attendance at RE was dropping, the vast majority of pupils still participate in it. Young people assess the quality of RE in a positive way. Some of them think that RE is interesting and they participate in it willingly. Others are of the opinion that RE is no di erent from other subjects. For the Catholic Church Religious Education is an important pastoral task. Therefore, it under- takes activities in order to provide quali ed RE teachers. The drawback of this e ort is, undoubtedly, the fact that the catechization at school is done by laypeople with the simultaneous pullback of priests. Both pupils and parents are of the opinion that such actions not only impair the quality of RE teaching and lead to poor participation but also damage the relation between young people and parishes. In times when the level of religiosity and morality is falling, the Church should intensify its e ort to stop the process of secularization of young generation and strengthen or even rebuild the relation between young people with local Church communities by providing e ective RE teaching.

Opis:
School retreats are very different from religion lessons. They are aspecific kind of teaching. The use of this extracurricular school catechesis is part of the pursuit of religion teachers to improve the effectiveness of religious education for children and adolescents. This form, associated with the liturgical year, is an important educational element from the point of view of catechetical didactics. It is connected with the search for optimal solutions increasing the effectiveness of school catechesis, related, among others, to the transmission of the content of faith and shaping Christian attitudes among children and the youth.
Rekolekcje szkolne znacznie różnią się od lekcji religii. Stanowią one swoistą formę nauczania. Zastosowanie tej pozalekcyjnej formy organizacji katechezy szkolnej wpisuje się w dążenie nauczycieli religii do poprawy skuteczności edukacji religijnej dzieci i młodzieży. Forma ta, związana z rokiem liturgicznym, jest ważnym elementem wychowawczym z punktu widzenia dydaktyki katechetycznej. Wiąże się ona bowiem z poszukiwaniem optymalnych rozwiązań podnoszących efektywność katechezy szkolnej, związanych między innymi z przekazem treści wiary i kształtowaniem postaw chrześcijańskich wśród dzieci i młodzieży.

Zagadnienia sakramentu oraz postawy pokuty i pojednania w nauczaniu religii w szkole są zawsze aktualne, szczególnie w związku z ogłoszeniem przez papieża Franciszka Nadzwyczajnego Jubileuszu Miłosierdzia. Autor artykułu, na podstawie schematu zaczerpniętego z adhortacji św. Jana Pawła II Reconciliatio et paenitentia, ukazuje główne zakresy tematyczne odnoszące się do sakramentu pokuty i pojednania, jednocześnie wskazując na ich wykorzystanie w Podstawie programowej katechezy i Programie nauczania religii z roku 2010. Podkreśla, że problem związku nawrócenia z ewangelizacją jest złożony, w dużej mierze z tego powodu, że wymyka się planowaniu, w którym można by przewidzieć wszystkie czynniki. Zarówno nawrócenie, jak i ewangelizacja stanowią bowiem obszar, gdzie rozgrywa się walka dobra ze złem, Tego, który jest Prawdą, z ojcem kłamstwa. Działania podejmujących ewangelizację i wzywających do nawrócenia są niełatwe do przewidzenia, bo nikt z nas nie może powiedzieć, że w pełni jest zewangelizowany i że przynajmniej nie potyka się na drodze nawrócenia. Konieczne jest jednak tworzenie ram, w które Duch będzie wlewał swą moc i przychodził w ludzkiej słabości.
Issues of the sacrament and the attitude of penance and reconciliation in the teaching of religion in school is always up to date, especially in connection with the announcement by Pope Francis Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. The article, based on the diagram taken from the exhortation of St. John Paul II Reconciliatio et Paenitentia, shows the main subject areas relating to the sacrament of penance and reconciliation, while pointing to their use in the Core Curriculum program of catechesis and religious education from 2010. emphasizes that the problem of the relationship of conversion to evangelism is composed largely of For this reason, it defies planning, which could predict all factors. Both the conversion and evangelization are in fact an area in which takes the struggle between good and evil, the One who is the Truth with the father of lies. Taking action calling for evangelization and conversion are difficult to predict, because none of us can say that it is fully evangelized, and that at least does not stumble on the path of conversion. But it is necessary to create a framework in which the Spirit will be poured its power and came to human weakness.

Around the concept and process of evangelization, that is around both the theory and practice of this process, a lot of doubts have appeared in recent years. Nearly all educational, formative activities undertaken in the Church, not only with respect to children and young people, but with respect to adults as well, are defined with the use of this word. However, in the practice of the ancient Church propagating Christ, conversion, preparation for baptism, catechesis presenting the meaning of rites and introducing one into the life of the Church were integrally connected with the evangelization process. This process has been radically reversed in modern times. In parish catechesis basically there is no evangelization process preceding it; also teaching religion at school cannot undertake all evangelization tasks, as the nature of education does not allow this. Since young people constantly need adults who accompany them and educate them in the proper way, the Salesian order whose vocation is Christian education of children and young people, should be open to evangelization of parents and adults, as it is only such evangelization that may contribute to efficient educational work.
