Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia koszty eksploatacji rzeczywistego obiektu (domu jednorodzinnego o powierzchni użytkowej 200m2 zlokalizowanego w Tychach) ogrzewanego pompą ciepła o parowaniu bezpośrednim. Porównano też koszty ogrzewania w przypadku gdyby zastosowano inne systemy grzewcze, jak również przeprowadzono analizę techniczno-ekonomiczną instalacji pomp ciepła.
Article presents operating costs of the real object (a single-family house with an usable area of 200m2 located in Tychy) heated by direct evaporating heat pump. Operating costs of other heating systems are compared and techno-economic assessment of the heat pump installation has been performed.

The article aims to show the significant role of energy efficiency to accomplish the status of energy security in Poland. The article shows several ways for energy conservation and mechanisms to promote the rationalization of energy management. The issues are presented in the light of the main legal regulations related to energy branch.

Zespół badawczy podjął prace nad stworzeniem dla Lublina Energetycznego Audytu Miejskiego (zwanego dalej EAM). Powstałe w ten sposób opracowanie jest zbiorem danych na temat zabudowy, licznych analiz struktury miasta i budynków mieszkalnych. Instrument EAM ma na celu wykazanie obecnego lub planowanego, szacunkowego zużycia energii w mieście i propozycje możliwych do zrealizowania działań oszczędności energetycznej. Całość opracowania EAM wraz z załącznikiem została wykorzystana, m.in. jako jedna z analiz przy opracowaniach planistycznych - Studium uwarunkowań i kierunków zagospodarowania przestrzennego dla miasta Lublina, wrzesień 2011. W artykule do omówienia EAM wykorzystano autorski szablon Możliwych Działań Naprawczych / Remontowych i Energooszczędnych (zwany dalej MDN/R+E) na przykładzie 11. kondygnacyjnego budynku prefabrykowanego.
The aim of the research project was to develop a City Energy Audit (CEA) for Lublin, Poland. CEA collects information on the built environment and city infrastructure in a systematic way, and provides structural analyses with special focus on housing stock. The purpose of CEA is to provide reliable input for analysing current and future energy consumption patterns, i.e. the basis for planning effective and viable energy saving measures at urban level. The CEA’s fitness for purpose was confirmed in practice – it was used by the local authorities in the process of preparing the Study of the conditions and directions of spatial planning for the City of Lublin in September 2011. To present the idea of applying CEA, the authors use their original template of Possible Retrofit/Repair and Energy Saving Measures (further referred to as MDN/R+E) and develop it into detailed solutions using the example of an 11-storey prefabricated block of flats.

The paper presents the efficiency comparison of the trigeneration system with respect to the separate generation of heat, cooling and electricity. Trigeneration Primary Energy Saving (TPES) indicator was adopted as an assessment criterion. The results of calculations are presented, based on which the analysis of the effect of a variable rate of heat used for cooling, as well as the turbine inlet temperature, on trigeneration system operations have been performed.
W pracy przedstawiono porównanie wydajności układu trójgeneracyjnego w odniesieniu do układu z oddzielną generacją ciepła, chłodu i energii elektrycznej. Jako kryterium oceny przyjęto wskaźnik względnej oszczędności energii pierwotnej (ang. Trigeneration Primary Energy Saving) TPES. Zaprezentowano wyniki obliczeń symulacyjnych, na podstawie których przeprowadzono analizę wpływu zmiennych wartości udziału ciepła wykorzystywanego do produkcji chłodu oraz temperatury spalin na wlocie do turbiny na efektywność pracy układu trójgeneracyjnego.

This article presents in a synthetic way the energy efficiency in agriculture. A special role has been given to fuel use in agriculture. Basing on a Swiss analysis about one third of the total energy consumption needed in agriculture has to be spent only for fuel. There are some ways that can be used to reduce the amount of fuel used during work operations. These methods typically are used during traveling and working in the field. Article presents the most common solutions used in agriculture: keeping the engine in good condition, reducing engine speed, reducing the wheels slip, optimizing machine and implement settings, efficient work in transport, working depth adjustment, proper engine speed, the correct driving technique, ballast loading adjustment, tyre pressure and engine speed adjustment, eco-driving.
Artykuł w syntetyczny sposób przedstawia problem efektywności energetycznej na przykładzie sektora rolnictwa. Szczególną rolę poświęcono problemowi zużycia paliw w rolnictwie. Przedstawiono kilka sposobów, które mogą zostać zastosowane w celu zredukowania ilości wykorzystywanego paliwa podczas wykonywania operacji rolniczych. Wspomniane czynności najczęściej dotyczą transportu drogowego oraz pracy w polu. Do najczęściej stosowanych można zaliczyć: utrzymanie silnika w dobrym stanie technicznym, zmniejszenie oporów ruchu, ograniczenie poślizgu kół napędowych, właściwie dobrane narzędzie robocze, poprawne ustawienie narzędzia roboczego, zarządzanie pracą w polu, efektywna praca w transporcie, dobranie właściwej głębokości roboczej, właściwa prędkość obrotowa silnika, poprawna techniki jazdy, eko-jazda.

Working liquid compressibility may considerably change the values and proportions of coefficients of volumetric and mechanical energy losses in the displacement pump used in a hydrostatic drive system. This effect can be particularly seen in the operation under high pressure and also in the system, where aeration of the working liquid can occur. In the Part I a diagram is presented, proposed by the author, of power increase in a hydrostatic drive system (hydraulic motor, pump) opposite to the direction of power flow, replacing the Sankey diagram of power decrease in the direction of power flow. Mathematical model is presented of volumetric losses in the pump and its laboratory verification.

The presence of water, food and energy crises, both at the global and regional levels, as well as their deterioration under conditions of climate change, with an insufficient level of technical condition of existing irrigation systems, increase the strategic importance of irrigation as the guarantor of the agricultural sector sustainable development. This makes it necessary to increase, foremost, energy and overall (technical, technological, economic, and environmental) efficiency of the closed irrigation network of irrigation systems. In this regard, the complex that includes organisational-technological, technical, and resource-saving groups of measures was developed. Estimation of energy and overall efficiency of the closed irrigation network of irrigation systems at the implementation of developed complex were executed on the example of the agricultural enterprise located in the Petropavlovsk district of the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. For this purpose, machine experiment based on a use of the set of optimisation, forecasting and simulation models was implemented, including the model of climatic conditions, the model of water regime and water regulation technologies, as well as the model of crop yields on reclaimed lands. According to the obtained results, established that implementation of the complex reduces the consumption of irrigation water by 2.2-30.7% and electricity consumption by 12.9-38.2%. The rate of specific costs decreases from 1.6 to 1.32-1.47, and the coefficient of environmental reliability increases by 5.6-16.7%. At the same time, the profitability index increases from 1.07 to 1.75-2.57, and the discounted payback period decreases from 18 to 8-5 years.

One of the priorities of the EU economy is to create the best possible conditions for the design and implementation of innovative solutions within the scope of energy efficiency. In recent years, there has been quick technological progress in the field of devices having controlled motor drive used for air purification, and from heating plates, which are applied in the eating places, including restaurants and zones for preparing meals in various means of transport. The research conducted by the EU on EcoDesign requirements showed that range hoods at the stage of their use have a considerable potential of saving energy. The introduction of energy efficiency labels to the market has improved the energy efficiency of these devices and accelerated the transformation of the market to implement energy-saving technologies, which according to the experts, may lead to an annual primary energy saving of 27 PJ/year in 2021, which may increase in 2030 to 60 PJ/year. The authors of this publication researched the fluid dynamic efficiency of a selected range hood, showing the necessity of investments in new technologies. Patented original solutions of the range hoods that can be applied, among others, in such means of transport as passenger ships, cargo ships, and submarines having a zone for preparing meals were presented in this article. An environmental aspect in the context of energy consumption was shown during the phase of using the device for air purification, providing many premises and arguments for future constructional solutions for energy management in various branches of transport and more.

Wykazano przydatność metody elementów skończonych do obliczeń cieplnych przegród budowlanych.
The article presents an analysis of the numerical parameters of heat exchange in the wall of the hollow polystyrene. The effect of EPS fasteners internal distribution of heat flux and temperature distribution in the wall. It has been demonstrated the usefulness of the finite element method to calculate the heat in the wall.

At the present time differentiated concepts of energy-efficient buildings have begun to be introduced, with the use of various definitions.
