Artykuł zawiera przegląd wykorzystania energii geotermalnej, a także badań oraz projektów inwestycyjnych w tym zakresie w Polsce w latach 2016–2018. Temat przedstawiono na tle sytuacji w Europie i na świecie. Podano obecny udział geotermii w miksie OZE, wskazano też na priorytetowe dziedziny jej zastosowań w najbliższych latach. Zasygnalizowano uregulowania prawne rozwoju geotermii, w tym sprzyjające zapisy oraz istniejące braki i niektóre bariery. Wskazano na rolę wprowadzonego w 2016 r. rządowego programu finansowego wsparcia energetycznego wykorzystania geotermii, którego efektem jest już przyznanie środków na wiercenia kilku otworów badawczych i inne projekty. Wymieniono strategiczne inicjatywy i dokumenty krajowe, które także powinny przyczynić do pobudzenia rozwoju geotermii.
The article contains an overview of geothermal energy uses as well as research and investment projects in Poland in 2016–2018. The topic is presented against the background of the situation in Europe and the world. The current share of geothermal energy in the renewable energy mix is given, along with the priority areas of its application in the coming years. The regulatory aspects of the development of this area, including favorable provisions and existing deficiencies and some barriers, are also mentioned. The role of the governmental program of financial support for geothermal energetic applications introduced in 2016 is indicated. This has already resulted in the granting the funds for drilling several exploration wells and for other investment projects. Other national initiatives and documents which shall also contribute to enhance the geothermal development are also given. - Źródło:
