- The subject of this paper is the recycling and alternative use of lithium-ion batteries - the most dangerous waste from electric cars. Authors present research data concerning the latest solutions used in this area. When dealing with this problem, the most frequently used method is creating energy storages. The other solution is reprocessing lithium-ion batteries, which allows to recover, among others, lithium, manganese and cobalt. This problem is crucial from ecological and economic point of view due to the increase of EV batteries production.
