    Opis:
    The main aim of the paper was to systematize the opinions and attitudes of school youth towards the idea of sustainable development. The research was conducted between 2016 and 2017 in Lesser Poland Province. The data was gathered in two ways: by handing out printed questionnaire forms among secondary school students and by distributing the forms in an electronic form among school youth. Taking into account the type of school, education profile and year in a school, responses to questions about the knowledge of the concept of sustainable development, the associations it brings to the mind and the need to implement it were analysed. The data was processed using pivot tables prepared in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The survey results pointed out marginalisation of the issues of sustainable development in secondary education: students rarely encountered this term (both in their life and education) and were unable to provide its proper definition. The respondents most often associated the term “sustainable development” with social justice and environmental protection. Due to educational gaps, the majority of the respondents did not know whether sustainable development was needed.

    Currently, the young generation develops in the vicinity of rapid technical and technological progress, which results in indispensable continuous access to the Internet. It is important to use this access skillfully, sensitizing young people to culture, which has a huge impact on the development of the creative industry. The aim of the article is to try to recognize how young people use cultural goods. The article presents the following research hypothesis - Increasing youth education in the use of cultural goods through the Internet will create a future creative class. It is important to draw today’s youth’s attention to the opportunities offered by the Internet in terms of access to culture. Education young people in this area contributes to creating a knowledgeable creative class. We should also remember, however, that the richness of web content facilitates access but at the same time translates into fragmentation of cultural experience.
    Obecnie młode pokolenie rozwija się w otoczeniu szybkiego postępu techniczno-technologicznego, co powoduje nieodzowny ciągły dostęp do Internetu. Istotnym jest umiejętne wykorzystanie tegoż dostępu, uczulenie młodzieży na kulturę, która ma olbrzymi wpływ na rozwój przemysłu kreatywnego. Celem artykułu jest próba rozpoznania, jak młodzież wykorzystuje dobra kultury. W artykule postawiono następującą hipotezę badawczą – Zwiększenie edukacji młodzieży pod względem wykorzystania dóbr kultury poprzez sieć Internet stworzy przyszłą klasą kreatywną. Ważne jest zwrócenie uwagi dzisiejszej młodzieży na możliwości, jakie daje Internet pod względem dostępu do kultury. Edukacja w tym zakresie dzisiejszej młodzieży wytworzy świadomą klasę kreatywną. Należy jednak pamiętać, że bogactwo dostępnych w Internecie treści ułatwia dotarcie do nich, ale równocześnie przekłada się na fragmentaryzację doświadczeń kulturowych.

    W artykule zaprezentowano przykład komputerowego wspomagania dydaktyki w zakresie kształcenia kultury technicznej w ramach przedmiotu zajęć technicznych. Program zasadniczo adresowany jest do odbiorcy z klas IV–VI szkoły podstawowej, jakkolwiek jego przeznaczenie do wykorzystania w edukacji dorosłych uczestników ruchu drogowego jest oczywiste w realiach naszego kraju. Zaproponowany w materiale program komputerowy jest odpowiedzią na zidentyfikowany problem związany z przeciążaniem samochodów ciężarowych. Znaczenie społeczne poruszanego zagadnienia jest istotne z uwagi na powszechność występowania tego zjawiska oraz wysokie koszty społeczne związane z koniecznością restytucji infrastruktury drogowej
    In the paper an example of computer assistance in teaching in the field of technical culture education as a part of the technical classes is presented. The program is addressed to classes IV–VI of the elementary school, however, it is obvious that in the realities of our country it is also necessary for educating adult traffic participants. Program proposed in this material is an answer to the identified problem connected with the overloaded lorries. The social importance of the touched subject is significant, due to the commonness of such phenomenon, as well as the high social costs associated with the necessity of the road infrastructure restitution.

    Niejednokrotnie osoby odpowiedzialne za przewóz towarów lekceważą limit nałożony na dopuszczalną masę całkowitą pojazdu, dążąc do maksymalizacji zysków. Należy jednak pamiętać o kosztach napraw pojazdów uszkodzonych na jezdniach zniszczonych przez przeciążone ciężarówki oraz, w szczególności, o ogromnych kosztach ponoszonych przez podatników w celu ochrony środowiska naturalnego. Kluczową kwestią staje się edukacja młodych osób.
    Often people responsible for the transport of products disregard the limit imposed on the permissible laden mass of the vehicle, seeking to maximize profits. However, they should be aware of the costs of repairing vehicles after using roads damaged by overloaded trucks and, in particular, of the huge costs incurred by taxpayers in order to protect the environment. It becomes crucial to educate young people.

    The publication is concerned with selected areas of analysis of young people's education process that aims at acquiring civic competences and of its results in modern social-cultural conditions. The author reflects on the standards defining the contents of the education process in the discussed area and its expected results, mainly in the shape of a subjective attitude formed in the young generation that allows young people to join the process of enlivening the social system in its postulated democratic form. Because of the complexity of the education process and of its determinants, in the analysis those aspects of the issue have been marked out that – in the author's opinion – are the most telling variables conditioning the process in question, taking into consideration both significant features of the modern so-called global culture, and the special character of the Polish context, including the way democratization proceeds in the Polish social space. Final remarks are concerned with the necessity of undertaking diagnostic studies on the way young people code the meanings of central values and principles of democracy and entering the discourse aiming at releasing social synergy of circles interested in the proper course of civic education.
    Publikacja dotyczy wybranych obszarów analizy procesu edukacji młodzieży do kompetencji obywatelskich i jego efektów we współczesnych uwarunkowaniach społeczno-kulturowych. Autorka poddała refleksji standardy określające treść procesu edukacji w omawianym zakresie oraz oczekiwane jego efekty, głównie w postaci ukształtowanej podmiotowości młodego pokolenia, pozwalającej na pożądany, aktywny styl wpisania się młodzieży w ożywianie systemu społecznego w jego postulowanej demokratycznej postaci. Wobec złożoności procesu edukacji i jego uwarunkowań, w analizie wytypowane zostały te aspekty problematyki, które – zdaniem autorki – stanowią najbardziej diagnostyczne zmienne warunkujące omawiany proces, z uwzględnieniem zarówno istotnych cech współczesnej tzw. kultury globalnej, jak i specyfiki polskiej kontekstowości, w tym również sposobu przebiegu demokratyzacji w polskiej przestrzeni społecznej. Uwagi końcowe dotyczą konieczności podejmowania badań diagnostycznych na temat sposobu kodowania przez młodzież znaczeń centralnych wartości i zasad demokracji oraz podejmowania dyskursu na wyzwalanie synergii społecznej środowisk zainteresowanych prawidłowym przebiegiem edukacji obywatelskiej.

    Research background: For many years, the authors have been dealing with the issues of student inventiveness and the related innovation and creativity. The presented work refers to the sources, understood as shaping the pro-engineering attitudes of young people, which in effect translates into the creation of new, often innovative solutions in the field of technology. Purpose: The aim of the research is to identify activities related to knowledge in the field of science and technology during the period of attendance at secondary school. These activities include knowledge and skills acquired at school and other relationships between young people and science and technology resulting from passions and passions. An additional goal is to indicate proposals for development in this area, mainly concerning the teaching process. Methodology: The source of data for the conducted analyses are the results of surveys conducted in 2021. The analysis of the acquired data was carried out using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. The AHP method, by incorporating expert opinions, allows you to achieve an additional goal. This is an original approach to the analysis and interpretation of survey results. It will not replace classical statistical analyses of varying complexity, but it can be a kind of complement. Findings: The implementation of the research indicated a significant interest of young people in the issues of science and technology, and the obtained data allowed to take a comprehensive look at the education of young people in this area and present suggestions for the modification of teaching forms. This may contribute to reducing the shortage of engineering staff and researchers creating new innovative solutions in many countries. This will be an important factor in economic development based on innovative technologies.
