    The issue of interrelationships between education, employment and the level of income evaluation is a cross-cutting nature, where the economic, social, political and legal levels are intertwined. Its broader context predicts its thematic coverage. The article presents preliminary results of the mutual relationship between acquired skills and the level of education achieved and the ability of the individual to become involved in the labor market. The aim of the article is to determine, using statistical and analytical methods, the correlation between the employment rate and the level of education attained in the EU countries and within the territory of the Slovak Republic. On the basis of the initial analysis the authors aim to answer the question if university graduates achieve higher incomes than secondary-educated people. Eventually they try to propose solutions and measures that are necessary for increasing the level and value of human capital, especially in the Slovak Republic.

    Goal – this article’s main goal is to show the need for the integration of universities on the basis of the processes of network interaction between business and education as one of the conditions for improving the quality of education in the country, and accordingly the index of education and the human development index of the country. Research methodology – the authors used analytical, economic, statistical methods of data analysis, conceptual and empirical research. Score/results – the article reveals the essence and substantiates the need to implement of the practice‑oriented education system by using the dual training system and creating of network interaction between universities in different countries. The advantages of such a model are revealed in comparison with the traditional form of training for the employer, educational institution, future specialist and the state. The instruments and forms of development of trilateral integration are described. Originality/value – the article presents the results of a comparative study of the human development of Belarus and its four neighbouring countries (Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine), has theoretical and practical significance, contains the author’s generalizations and conclusions.

    Współczesny świat stał się globalną wioską. Doszło do momentu, w którym komunikacja może odbywać się w czasie rzeczywistym pomiędzy rozmówcami niezależnie od dystansu, jaki ich dzieli. Obraz „płaskiej ziemi” nabrał nowego, symbolicznego znaczenia. Skutkiem czego, posiadamy dostęp do nieograniczonej ilości komunikatów z całego świata. W konsekwencji, przekazywane informacje tracą swoje indywidualne cechy, poprzez ich nadmierne upowszechnienie. Co za tym idzie tracą również część znaczenia i siłę oddziaływania. W skutek czego odbiorcy nie czują już wartości przekazów i wszystko staje się ogólnie względne. Niestety podobny obraz zunifikowania i zatracania indywidualnego charakteru przekazu obserwujemy od lat również na polu sztuki (w tym architektury). Warto zatem zastanowić się, co opowie o nas architektura kolejnym pokoleniom ? Czy można ją traktować jako nośnik informacji? Przemyślenia zilustrowane zostały kilkoma przykładami architektonicznym – obiektów zarówno zrealizowanych jak i koncepcyjnych (w formie pracy dyplomowej).
    The modern world has become a global village. There has been a point where communication can take place in real time between the callers regardless of the distance that separates them. The image of the "flat earth" has acquired a new, symbolic meaning. As a result, we have access to an unlimited number of messages from around the world. Consequently, the information transmitted loses its individual characteristics through its excessive dissemination. Hence, they also lose some of their significance and impact. As a result, recipients no longer feel the value of messages and everything becomes generally relative... Unfortunately, a similar picture of unifying and losing the individual character of the message has also been observed in the field of art (including architecture) for years. Therefore, it is worth considering what architecture will tell us about next generations ? Can it be treated as an information carrier? The thoughts were illustrated by several examples of architecture – both completed and conceptual objects (in the form of a diploma thesis).

    One of the most urgent economic and managerial issues is the formation of a high level of competitive human capital of the country as well as ensuring high level ranking of global competitiveness. The research is aimed to the substantiation of the significance of human capital as a key factor increasing international economic competitiveness. For this, a comparative analysis of macroeconomic indicators forming the human capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been carried out for the nine-year period 2008-2016, since the moment of the economic crisis until now. On the basis of the conducted analysis, competitive advantages and disadvantages of the human capital and dynamics of its development are revealed in the context of international competitiveness. It is proved that human capital has an economic impact depending on the level of the country’s competitiveness. As a result of the research, it has revealed interdependence between human capital and global competitiveness and revealing key factors for developing human capital in Kazakhstan in terms of increasing the country’s economic competitiveness. The conducted research has been directed to detecting main ways how to develop and human capital in conditions of global competitiveness from the management perspective.
    Jedną z najpilniejszych kwestii gospodarczych i kierowniczych jest kształtowanie wysokiego poziomu konkurencyjnego kapitału ludzkiego w kraju, a także zapewnienie wysokiego poziomu rankingu globalnej konkurencyjności. Prezentowane studium ma na celu uzasadnienie znaczenia kapitału ludzkiego, jako kluczowego czynnika zwiększającego międzynarodową konkurencyjność gospodarczą. W tym celu dokonano analizy porównawczej wskaźników makroekonomicznych tworzących kapitał ludzki Republiki Kazachstanu w dziewięcioletnim okresie 2008-2016, począwszy od kryzysu gospodarczego aż do teraz. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej analizy ujawniono przewagi konkurencyjne i wady kapitału ludzkiego oraz dynamikę jego rozwoju w kontekście międzynarodowej konkurencyjności. Udowodniono, że kapitał ludzki ma wpływ ekonomiczny w zależności od poziomu konkurencyjności kraju. W wyniku badań ujawniono współzależność między kapitałem ludzkim a globalną konkurencyjnością oraz ujawniono kluczowe czynniki rozwoju kapitału ludzkiego w Kazachstanie pod względem zwiększenia konkurencyjności gospodarczej kraju. Przeprowadzone badania zostały ukierunkowane na ukazanie głównych sposobów rozwoju kapitału ludzkiego w warunkach globalnej konkurencyjności z perspektywy zarządzania.

    The world we live in has witnessed some drastic environmental imbalance in recent times. These imbalances have threatened sustainable development- which is the ultimate goal of man-environment relationship. This paper reviews the causes and effects of climate change on man and his environment with a view to using science education to solve the problems posed by climate change. Literature shows that climate change results mainly from human activities such as rapid deforestation for agricultural and industrial purposes, carbon dioxide emission from fossil fuel burning, carbon dioxide emission from burning gasoline for transportation, usage of chemical fertilizers on croplands and methane emission from animals, agriculture and arctic sea beds. The consequences of these activities include global warming, ozone layer depletion, greenhouse effect, rising sea level and acid rain. It is recommended here that the whole educational process be re-packaged to emphasize science education as a panacea for sustainable development. The argument here is that the educational institutions are the best media for the inculcation of proper morals and values. It is also recommended that teacher education programmes should allocate more funds to research in, and teaching of science in schools.
