    Opis:
    Around the concept and process of evangelization, that is around both the theory and practice of this process, a lot of doubts have appeared in recent years. Nearly all educational, formative activities undertaken in the Church, not only with respect to children and young people, but with respect to adults as well, are defined with the use of this word. However, in the practice of the ancient Church propagating Christ, conversion, preparation for baptism, catechesis presenting the meaning of rites and introducing one into the life of the Church were integrally connected with the evangelization process. This process has been radically reversed in modern times. In parish catechesis basically there is no evangelization process preceding it; also teaching religion at school cannot undertake all evangelization tasks, as the nature of education does not allow this. Since young people constantly need adults who accompany them and educate them in the proper way, the Salesian order whose vocation is Christian education of children and young people, should be open to evangelization of parents and adults, as it is only such evangelization that may contribute to efficient educational work.

    Opis:
    The main subject covered in this paper is the coexistence of the religious experience of the Church and the experience of national community in the teaching of Joseph Ratzinger–Benedict XVI. The starting point is the understanding of experience in the writings of Joseph Ratzinger–Benedict XVI. In his view, experience manifests itself in three ways: through faith and liturgy, through testimony and through saints. This, in turn, translates to the national experience, which encompasses such areas as culture and academia, religious and universal values, natural law, family and education, and the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity in development and progress. The interdependence between the Church and the national community reflected in the works of Joseph Ratzinger–Benedict XVI highlights the need for these two institutions to work together towards the common good of those who constitute the Church and those who constitute the nation, regardless of their religious beliefs or political convictions. Throughout Cardinal Ratzinger’s teaching, one can observe that the religious experience of the Church provides a starting point for the national experience that manifests itself in the brotherhood of all people.
    Głównym zagadnieniem artykułu jest współistnienie doświadczenia religijnego Kościoła i doświadczenia wspólnoty narodowej w nauczaniu Josepha Ratzingera-Benedykta XVI. Punkt wyjścia stanowi rozumienie doświadczenia w pismach Josepha Ratzingera-Benedykta XVI. Doświadczenie to przejawia się w na trzy sposoby wiara i liturgia; świadectwo oraz świeci. to z kolei przekłada się na doświadczenie narodowe, które obejmuje następujące zagadnienia: kulturę i uniwersytet; wartości religijne i uniwersalne; prawo naturalne; rodzinę i wychowanie; oraz na zasadę pomocniczości i solidarności w rozwoju i postępie. Współzależność Kościoła jak i wspólnoty narodowej w nauczaniu Josepha Ratzingera-Benedykta XVI kładą nacisk na współpracę tych dwóch instytucji w dziedzinie dobra wspólnego tych, którzy tworzą Kościół oraz tych którzy tworzą naród nie zależnie od wyznawanej religii czy przekonań politycznych. W nauczaniu kard. Ratzingera, papieża Benedykta XVI widać, że doświadczenie religijne Kościoła stanowi punkt wyjścia dla doświadczenia narodowego, które widać we wspólnym braterstwie ludzi.

    Both notions „religious education” and ‘education” are unambiguous, and the processes hidden behind them are more described than defined. Certainly, it is connected with unambiguity typical for post –modernism. Tis may result in appearance of higher interests in religion. Te phenomenon requires reflection upon theory and practice of the religious education, which has always belonged to a crucial domain in the theory of upbringing and has been an important research subject. Its distinctiveness and specialization is formed (should be formed) by pedagogy of religion that is acknowledged as both theological and pedagogical discipline. Te notion „religious education” describes the phenomenon of teaching and learning based on religious sources. Its range and interpretation is characterized by religious community. Te main element fitting the religious education into the general process of education is the axiological area. Te task for the religious education means mainly developing the self – interpretation competence of existence, rooted in the religious sources. Te confession dimension within scientific reflection upon theory and metatheory of religious teaching, learning, and upbringing is undertaken by Religious Education and its place in postmodernism.     Zarówno pojęcie „edukacja religijna” jak i „edukacja” są niejednoznaczne, a procesy kryjące się za nimi bardziej opisywane niż definiowane. Z pewnością jest to związane z niejednoznacznością typową dla ponowoczesności. Być może dlatego pojawia się coraz większe zainteresowanie religią. Zjawisko to wymaga refleksji nad teorią i praktyką edukacji religijnej, która zawsze stanowiła ważną dziedzinę w teorii wychowania oraz ważny przedmiot badań. Jej odrębność i specjalizację kształtuje (powinna kształtować) pedagogika religii, uznawana za dyscyplinę zarówno teologiczną jak i pedagogiczną. Termin „edukacja religijna” opisuje zjawisko nauczania i uczenia się opartego na źródłach religijnych. Ich zakres i interpretację określa wspólnota wyznaniowa. Głównym elementem wpisującym edukację religijną w proces kształcenia ogólnego jest płaszczyzna aksjologiczna. Zadaniem edukacji religijnej jest głównie rozwijanie kompetencji samodzielnej interpretacji egzystencji w oparciu o źródła religijne. W wymiarze konfesyjnym naukową refleksję na temat teorii i metateorii religijnego nauczania, wychowania i uczenia się podejmuje katechetyka.
