    Modern technologies whose development defines the beginning of the twenty-first century information civilization create entirely new possibilities for organizing and delivering educational processes. Thanks to them an opportunity for education opens up, which is a move away from the narrowly conceived encyclopaedism in education to independent work, revealing activities, and sometimes creativity. The paper will consider the benefits that can be associated with the use of IT in teaching on the one hand understood as a set of devices, on the other as education software packages. At the same time features which entails risks for the organization of teaching and learning processes as well as for themselves educated will be indicated.

    Coraz większa liczba studentów ukraińskich na polskich uczelniach skłania do przyjrzenia się ich oczekiwaniom i postawom. W tym celu zostały przeprowadzone badania za pomocą ankiety skonstruowanej przez autorów artykułu. Dotyczyła ona nadziei i obaw studentów ukraińskich rozpoczynających naukę w Polsce w odniesieniu do zdobywanego wykształcenia, relacji z innymi osobami – większości obcokrajowcami, deklarowanych wartości, stopnia opanowania języka polskiego oraz bardziej odległych planów życiowych. W artykule starano się również uwypuklić psychologiczny aspekt nadziei i obaw oraz zwrócić uwagę na wychowawcze i edukacyjne znaczenie nadziei.
    A growing number of Ukrainian students at Polish universities encourages to look at their expectations and attitudes. For this purpose, some studies were performed using a questionnaire constructed by the authors of the article. It concerned the hopes and fears of Ukrainian students entering education in Poland in relation to their gained education, relationships with others in the majority – foreigners, declared values, the degree of mastery of Polish language and the more distant life plans. The article also attempts to emphasize the psychological aspect of hopes and fears, and to draw attention to the educative and educational importance of hope.

    The purpose of the study is to assess attitudes toward robots among a Polish sample (N = 1044) using a series of questions focused on their perceptions within the labor market. Based on previous research, higher concerns toward and lower acceptance of robots were predicted for women, people performing manual and manual work, and people who are not familiar with robotics. The hypotheses were only partially confirmed. Orientation in the field of robotics is conducive to greater acceptance of the presence of robots in trust works professions. Unexpectedly, it turned out that people who declared performing physical work, compared to people performing other types of tasks, have a more affirmative attitude to the participation of robots in customer service occupations and to accept the autonomy of the robot to a higher degree. The results also showed that women are more concerned about the increased presence of robots in the labour market and less accepting of the replacement of humans by robots and the greater autonomy of intelligent machines. In addition, the analysis revealed that people with more knowledge in the field of robotics declare greater acceptance of the autonomous work of robots and in terms of replacing people with robots in the work environment, they also have fewer concerns about the market situation compared to those who do not consider themselves knowledgeable in this area.

    This text refers to the situation of primary school, especially the seventh and eighth grades, after the educational reform of 2017. The author shows the negative impact of the reform on the functioning of students, parents, teachers and publishers in the new educational reality. The author points the conditions resulting from the reform, indicates their consequences for the organization of the educational process, the textbook market, shows the incommensurability of the new formula of the school to the needs and expectations of educational entities. Critically analyzes the concept of the eighth grade exam, based on the Informator o egzaminie ósmoklasisty… by the Regional Examination Commission. In conclusion, the author of the article argues that the negative consequences of the reform and the resulting consequences will primarily the hardest to lift for teachers and students.
