Opis:
The organization of the pastoral care in the Polish Catholic Mission in Osnabrück is based on the parish pastoral care. The Mission implements ordinary and extraordinary mini-stry. Proclaiming God’s Word, implemented through homily and catechesis, is done in Polish. It is assigned for children, young people and adult Catholics. Ministering of the worship of God is done according to the customs of the Church in Poland. The ministry of all the sacraments which can be administered in the parish is a regular practice, including the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation which can be ministered individually. Devotions as well as blessings are administered just like in Poland. The faithful attach great importance to maintaining the Polish tradition, especially to the blessing of food served at Easter as well as to the tradition of sharing the wafer during Christmas Eve. What is more, the Mission actively supports charities for the benefit of individuals and communities of believers mainly in Poland and in the eastern Europe. Other activities include pastoral pilgrimage and social work with children and young people.

The article addresses the relations between psychotherapy, treated as a form of psychological assistance, and faith, religion, and pastoral care. This issue has been present in transactional analysis almost from its beginnings, and it has been discussed by various authors from various perspectives. In Poland the application of transactional analysis in pastoral care has been extensively analysed by Rev. Antoni Tomkiewicz, PhD from the Catholic University of Lublin. One can hope that the issues mentioned in the article will arouse an interest of a number of both theoreticians and practitioners of transactional analysis as well as theologians and priests
Artykuł podejmuje kwestie relacji jakie zachodzą między psychoterapią, jako formą pomocy psychologicznej, a wiarą, religią i duszpasterstwem. W analizie transakcyjnej, niemal od początku istnienia tej koncepcji, kwestia ta jest obecna  w  różnych kontekstach i podejmowana przez różnych autorów. W Polsce zagadnienie zastosowania analizy transakcyjnej w duszpasterstwie od lat podejmuje  ks. dr Antoni Tomkiewicz z Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego. Można mieć nadzieję, że zasygnalizowana w artykule problematyka zainteresuje w większym niż dotąd stopniu zarówno teoretyków i praktyków analizy transakcyjnej, jak również teologów i duszpasterzy.

Opis:
One of modern challenges facing not only politicians, economists or sociologists is the demographic makeup of Poland, which is a derivative of tendencies that are visible in the whole of Europe. Demographic changes are not leaving the Church unaffected. One has to take into account the decreasing number of children and the youth, who are the a major target of pastoral initiatives in Poland. The adult and elderly groups existing in the Church will grow, which will create a demand for new and adequate pastoral solutions for them. The pastoral care of families, elderly, lonely and sick will face special challenges. The article attempts to present the lines of development of activities conducted in the mentioned sectors of pastoral care which the Polish Church should pay attention to.

Duszpasterstwo Kościoła katolickiego wykazuje cechy podobne do działalności usługowych, zwłaszcza niekomercyjnych. Z tego powodu w działalności pastoralnej jest możliwe zastosowanie, w ograniczonym zakresie, instrumentów i strategii właściwych dla marketingu usług. W pierwszej części artykułu został scharakteryzowany marketing usług i wskazane cechy usług. Druga część przedstawia instrumenty marketingu usług oraz wskazuje na możliwości zastosowania ich w duszpasterstwie. W trzeciej części wskazano na strategie marketingu usług, które mogą być wykorzystane w działalności Kościoła. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na marketing partnerski, pod niektórymi względami przypominający posługę pastoralną.
The pastoral care of the Catholic Church shows characteristics similar to service activities, especially non-commercial ones. For this reason, in pastoral activity it is possible to apply, to a limited extent, the instruments and strategies characteristic of service marketing. In the fi rst part of the article the marketing of services is characterised and the characteristics of services are indicated. In the second part the instruments of service marketing are presented and possibilities of their application in pastoral ministry are shown. In the third part service marketing strategies that can be used in the activity of the Church are presented. Particular attention is paid to partnership marketing, in some respects resembling pastoral ministry.

What is „Socratic soul-care” like? Why is it an important contribution to the field of counselling and soul-care? To find an answer to such questions, the following considerations focus on two personalities who, to a certain extent, personified this tradition in the 18th century: Gregorius Skovoroda, who, depending on one's point of view, is regarded as the "Ukrainian" or "Russian" Socrates, and Johann Georg Hamann, who has been dubbed the "Socrates of the 18th century". Both personalities will be appreciated as main examples of  a philosophical model of "Socratic pastoral care" from the perspective of the psychology of religion by evaluating and contextualizing their corresponding utterances. In order to find out how "Socratic pastoral care" was understood – at least in the 18th century – and can be understood, central aspects and themes will be elicited from original texts with the help of Grounded Theory. Evaluating the results, „Socratic pastoral care“ emerges as a holistic religiously oriented approach that focuses on a person's relationship of trust with him/herself, with others and with God/with life, brings it up in an accepting and appreciative atmosphere and in this way helps to resolve possible disturbances. 
Czym jest „sokratejskie duszpasterstwo”? Dlaczego stanowi ono ważny wkład w dziedzinę poradnictwa i duszpasterstwa? Artykuł, poszukując odpowiedzi na te pytania, skupia się na dwóch osobowościach, które w pewnym stopniu uosabiały tę tradycję w XVIII w: Gregorius Skovoroda, który w zależności od punktu widzenia uważany jest za „ukraińskiego” lub „rosyjskiego” Sokratesa, oraz Johann Georg Hamann, który został okrzyknięty „Sokratesem XVIII w.” Obie osoby wzięto jako główne przykłady filozoficznego modelu „sokratejskiego duszpasterstwa” i z perspektywy psychologii religii dokonano oceny i kontekstualizacji ich wypowiedzi. Aby ustalić sposób rozumienia „sokratejskiego duszpasterstwa” w XVIII w., z oryginalnych tekstów wspomnianych autorów wydobyto centralne aspekty i tematy dotyczące wspomnianego zakresu. Główną konkluzją przeprowadzonych badań jest stwierdzenie, że „sokratejskie duszpasterstwo” wyłania się jako holistyczne i religijnie zorientowane podejście, które koncentruje się na relacji zaufania do siebie samego, innych i Boga/życia, które odbywa się w atmosferze akceptacji i uznania, i w ten sposób pomaga rozwiązać pojawiające się trudności.

Niemniej w aktualnej rzeczywistości społeczno-religijnej, cechującej się coraz większym indywidualizmem i selektywizmem wierzących, stosowanie marketingu relacji może być pomocne w realizacji działalności pastoralnej. Artykuł prezentuje zarówno możliwości jak i zgrożenia zastosowania zsad i metod marketingu relacji w duszpasterstwie Kościoła. 
Pastoral care is an organized saving activity of the Church. To improve its effectiveness it makes use of the achievements of non-theological sciences, one of which is marketing. Making use of the theory of partnership marketing is of particular importance. It is focused on the customer retention, therefore the rules of it can also be applied in the circumstances of secularization and individualization of the social life. These processes result in maintaining the distance to the Church and in leaving the Church. The article presents the essence of relationship marketing, as well as the relationships between the quality, communication, inner marketing and pastoral care.

A family which is founded on love, and the sacrament of marriage of the parents is the best environment for living, raising and rehabilitating a disabled child. His/her presence presents numerous difficulties that the parents have to overcome. Disability often negatively impacts the child’s acceptance of the parents. Due to the child’s disability the relationship between the parents may be disturbed; its impact is also perceptible in the relationship of the affected child with his/her siblings and other family members. Parents not always can look after their disabled child and deal with his/her rehabilitation and upbringing. Such difficulties constitute a challenge for various people and social institutions that help families with disabled children. Among them is also the Church whose pastoral care is meant to directly assist families and guide them in their seeking material, medical and psychological help.

Jedną z mniejszości narodowych w Polsce są Litwini. Mieszkają oni przede wszystkim na Suwalszczyźnie w pobliżu granicy Polski z Litwą. Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje nauczanie Kościoła dotyczące mniejszości narodowych. Stanowi on próbę ukazania historyczno-politycznych, społeczno-demografi cznych i eklezjalnych uwarunkowań duszpasterstwa litewskiej mniejszości narodowej w Polsce, a szczególnie w diecezji ełckiej, gdzie Litwinów mieszka najwięcej. Czasami trudności litewskiej mniejszości narodowej bywają nadmiernie eksponowane i nagłaśniane poprzez jej liderów, nie zawsze są one rozwiązywane drogą dialogu i prowadzą do prawdziwego porozumienia. Autor artykułu dostrzega potrzebę budowania mostów między wiernymi narodowości litewskiej i polskiej oraz wskazuje na dialog pastoralny jako priorytet działalności duszpasterskiej wśród litewskiej mniejszości narodowej.
The Lithuanians are one of the national minorities in Poland. They mainly live in the Suwałki Region near the border between Poland and Lithuania. This article presents the teaching of the Church on national minorities. It is an attempt to show historical, political, socio-demographic and ecclesial conditions of the pastoral care in the Lithuanian national minority in Poland, especially in the diocese of Ełk where the Lithuanian population is mostly represented. The diffi culties of the Lithuanian national minority are sometimes excessively exposed and publicized by its leaders and not always resolved through dialogue leading to genuine agreement. The author points to a need for building bridges between Lithuanian and Polish Christians and considering pastoral dialogue to be a leading pastoral activity in the Lithuanian national minority.

Gospodarowanie zasobami ludzkimi jest procesem zmierzającym do zapewnienia organizacji kompetentnych pracowników na określonych stanowiskach. W duszpasterstwie oznacza on głównie pomoc w odkryciu powołania duchownego oraz przygotowanie i doskonalenie realizujących posługę pastoralną. Zastosowanie zasad wypracowanych przez nauki o zarządzaniu może przyczynić się do lepszego wykorzystania potencjału duszpasterzy oraz podniesienia efektywności ich działalności. Gospodarowanie zasobami ludzkimi w duszpasterstwie wiąże się z jego planowaniem. Są to procesy wzajemnie się przenikające i warunkujące. Troska o formację stałą prezbiterów i coraz pełniejsze poznawanie ich celów w ramach posługi powinno być skorelowane z planami duszpasterskimi.
Human resource management is a process which aims at providing competent employees in certain positions to organizations. In the pastoral care it mainly means the help in discovering the spiritual vocation and the preparation and improvement of those who implement the pastoral ministry. The application of the principles developed by economics can contribute to making the better use of the potential of priests and to improving the efficiency of their actions. Human resource management in the pastoral care is connected with its planning. These are the processes which intermingle and determine one another. The care for the constant formation of presbyters and the more profound recognition of their objectives in the ministry should be correlated with the pastoral planning.

W chrześcijańskiej duchowości – w zasadzie od początków istnienia chrześcijaństwa – ważne miejsce zajmuje praktyka pielgrzymowania do miejsc świętych. Wyraża ona między innymi fakt bycia na ziemi pielgrzymem, który nie ma tu swojego trwałego i ostatecznego miejsca. Podejmowanie pielgrzymek wiązało się także z praktykami pokutnymi, z decyzjami o nawróceniu, zmianie życia. W latach 80. i 90. XX wieku w Polsce nastąpiło ożywienie praktyki pielgrzymowania. Duszpasterze dość szybko zauważyli, że to jednorazowe wydarzenie powinno znaleźć kontynuację w różnych inicjatywach duszpasterskich realizowanych w czasie między pielgrzymkami. Niniejsze opracowanie – oparte na doświadczeniach pielgrzymowania z lat przełomu XX i XXI wieku – prezentuje sposoby ciągłej formacji pielgrzymów na płaszczyznach: ogólnopolskiej, diecezjalnej i grupy pielgrzymkowej.
From the beginning of Christianity, the practice of pilgrimaging to holy places has been an important factor of Christian spirituality. It expresses, among other things, the fact that all men are pilgrims in this world without a permanent and ultimate place here. The undertaking of pilgrimages was also connected with penitential practices, decisions of conversion and change of life. In the 1980s and 1990s there was a revival of the practice of pilgrimaging. Pastors soon realized that this one-time event should find a continuation in various pastoral initiatives realized in the period between pilgrimages. The present study is based on the experiences of pilgrimaging in the years at the turn of the 21st century and describes ways of a continual formation of pilgrims on the following planes: national, diocesan and the pilgrim group.

Migracja ludów nie jest niczym nowym. Kościół od początku swej działalności troszczy się o ,,ludzi w drodze”. Bardziej niż kiedykolwiek kryzys migracyjny staje się dla Kościoła wyzwaniem. Wojny, prześladowania, szukanie lepszego życia i inne czynniki powodują, że migracja stała się nie tylko szansą na spotkanie kultur, ale również problemem, który wymaga odpowiednich działań. ,,Ludzie w drodze” zawsze zajmowali ważne miejsce w działalności Kościoła. Zgromadzenie Słowa Bożego, które ze swej natury jest międzynarodowe i misyjne, bierze również udział w dziele opieki nad migrantami i uchodźcami, starając się ich integrować w społeczności lokalnej oraz w Kościele w Polsce. Od chwili powstania Centrum Migranta Fu Shenfu pomaga migrantom i uchodźcom. Jego główne pola działalności to: opieka duszpasterska, pomoc prawna, kurs języka polskiego, integracja migrantów i uchodźców w społeczności lokalnej, pomoc charytatywna. Migranci są integralną częścią Kościoła, dlatego działalność duszpasterska wśród nich stanowi ważny aspekt misji Kościoła.
Migration is an old phenomenon. Church has always looked after “people on the move”, but today’s migration crisis challenges her as perhaps never before. Wars, persecutions, search for better living conditions and other factors make migration a chance for different cultures to meet, but also to conflict. Divine Word Missionaries, as members of an international and missionary religious congregation (Society of the Divine Word) assist immigrants and refugees in various ways. Divine Word Missionaries Fu Shenfu Migrant Centre is there to help them integrate into church in Poland and local communities through pastoral care, legal advice, Polish language classes and charitable work. Assistance to migrants is a task and challenge to the Church. Migrants are integral part of the Church. That is why pastoral care of migrants is an important aspect of the missionary activity of the Church.

Pope John Paul II established Pontifical Council For The Pastoral Care Of Migrants And Itinerant People, with the task of studying and providing pastoral care to „people on the move” such as those categories of people who became: migrants, refugees, exiles, displaced personnes, seafarers both aboard ship and in port and fishermen, road transport workers, air transport personnel, fairground workers, circus people, nomads, as well also those people who go on trips by various reasons of piety, study or recreation or those technicians working for large project at the international levels and other similar categories. The Dicastery has the competence bear on the special needs of those people who have left their homeland and deserve special attention in the most important life matters, such as spirituals care, freedom, inculturation also fraternal attitude of Christian people, and help to unite families, broken married life because of the big distance between a married couple. The Council is regularly participating in meetings of International Organisations that have an interest in migrants, exiles or refugees, and collaborating with them. Thus the Council is an ecclesial response to the pastoral needs of migrants and itinerant people.

Many postulates are put against the contemporary theology. The most important among them are learning of a high level and pastoral care. On the one hand, there is postulated that theology must be careful, systematic and organized in terms of scientific knowledge. It comes in this case to a clear determination of its nature and methods that constitute every field of research as a science, and then to a consequent sticking to the chosen methods. A supplementary postulate concerns such a scientific doing theology, which allows to specify its position compared to other sciences. On the other hand, a postulate is formulated that theology is supposed to have higher level of pastoral care. It is a postulate that appears almost commonly in circles associated with the formation of priests. This is understandable, since theological studies have to prepare for the pastoral care service. The circles of secular theology students speak rather about the “practicality” of theology, although it is in fact the same. The postulates mentioned above are discussed in this article on the basis of reflection on the subject of theology, its nature and method, also on some theological lecture contents and on the spiritual quality of this lecture. There is paid particular attention to possibilities of pastoral theology, but formulated under explicit scientific criterion.
 Pod adresem współczesnej teologii stawia się wiele postulatów. Najważniejszymi z nich są naukowość i pastoralność. Z jednej więc strony postuluje się, by teologia była staranna, systematyczna i uporządkowana pod względem naukowości. Chodzi w tym przypadku o jasne określenie jej natury i metody, które konstytuują każdą dziedzinę badawczą jako naukę, a potem konsekwentne kierowanie się wypracowaną metodą. Postulat uzupełniający dotyczy takiego naukowego uprawiania teologii, które pozwoli określić jej miejsce w stosunku do innych nauk. Z drugiej strony formułuje się postulat większej pastoralności teologii. Pojawia się on niemal powszechnie w kręgach związanych z formacją kapłańską. Jest to zrozumiałe, ponieważ studia teologii mają przygotować do pełnienia posługi duszpasterskiej. W kręgach świeckich studentów teologii mówi się raczej o „praktyczności” teologii, chociaż w gruncie rzeczy chodzi o to samo. W niniejszym artykule zostają omówione wspomniane tutaj postulaty na gruncie refleksji nad przedmiotem teologii, jej naturą i metodą, nad niektórymi treściami wykładu teologicznego oraz nad jakością duchową tego wykładu. Szczególna uwaga zostaje zwrócona na możliwości pastoralne teologii, ale formułowane w świetle wyraźnego przyjmowania kryterium jej naukowości.

The author presents arguments of legal nature relating to the ministry of marriages contracted by two baptised persons out of whom only one person belongs to the Catholic Church and is committed to abide by the 1125.1 provision of the canon law. Having specified human and religious factors that define this ministry, the author defines rules to be accepted in particular law in terms of the ministry of mixed marriages.
