W artykule przedstawiono bardzo krótki rys historyczny przemysłu elektrotechnicznego w Polsce oraz szerzej przemiany w zakresie przemysłu przetwórczego, głównie elektrotechnicznego w okresie przemian ustrojowych i budowy III RP.
The article contains a description of the electrotechnical industry since the beginning of its history within the Polish lands to 1918. Then shows the period between 1918 - 1945. A detailed description of the structure of the electrotechnical industry covers a period of years 1945 - 1989. The contemporary period since 1989 shows ownership changes. Assessing the development of the electrical industry in Poland over the last twenty years and especially during the last eight years, belonging to the EU, you can say that we are in Poland, the exemplary sector. Many of the former large state-owned companies had found a new way of development with using foreign capital, other companies had been privatized and were still the companies of Polish capital. Good conditions were created for foreign investment in Poland. This resulted in a number of factories built for the production of electrical and electronic sector. The best known are the factory of household appliances, televisions assembly plants, factories of bunches of cables for automotive and electronic equipment service centers. Such development is favored by multiplying zones and industrial parks offering infrastructure and tax breaks. In these zones may of course also invest Polish entrepreneurs, but the companies existing for years outside these areas are subjected to unjust strong competitive pressure. Finally, many old craft production enterprises wonderfully developed , and they are beautiful, modern companies nothing inferior to plants in western Europe. Despite of many difficulties and vicissitudes, the idea of creation a strong electrotechnical industry in Poland was realized. The quality and range of its products is on the international level, as evidenced by the results and directions of increasing export. Today the electrotechnical industry is still the significant and growing part of the national economy. - Źródło:
