    Opis:
    The paper presents the analysis of use of IT technologies by farmers. Data from a research survey carried out in 100 randomly selected farms in 2015 constituted research material. The research area covered farms located in Podlaskie Voivodeship on the area of two counties i.e. Wysokie Mazowieckie (50 questionnaires) and Zambrów County (50 questionnaires). The questionnaire is a research instrument. The research was to determine the level of use of specialist computer programs by farmers and their needs concerning acquisition of information on innovations in agriculture. Due to the obtained results one may find out that a low number of farmers uses specialist computer programs in their farms. In Wysokie Mazowieckie County it is only 8% of respondents and in Zambrów County 14%. The main source of information on innovations in agriculture is the Internet, professional agricultural press and television.
    W pracy przedstawiono analizę użytkowania przez rolników technologii informatycznych. Materiał badawczy stanowiły dane pochodzące z badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w 100 losowo wybranych gospodarstwach rolnych w 2015 roku. Obszarem badań objęto gospodarstwa położone w województwie podlaskim na terenie dwóch powiatów tj. wysokomazowieckiego (50 ankiet) oraz zambrowskiego (50 ankiet). Instrumentem badawczym był kwestionariusz wywiadu. Badania miały na celu określenie poziomu wykorzystania przez rolników specjalistycznych programów komputerowych, a także jakie są ich potrzeby w zakresie pozyskiwania informacji o nowościach w rolnictwie. Uzyskane wyniki badań pozwalają stwierdzić, iż niewielka liczba rolników wykorzystuje specjalistyczne programy komputerowe w swoim gospodarstwie. W powiecie wysokomazowieckim tylko 8% respondentów a w powiecie zambrowskim 14%. Głównym źródłem pozyskiwania informacji o nowościach w rolnictwie jest Internet, fachowa prasa rolnicza oraz telewizja.

    Gwałtowny rozwój komputeryzacji przypada na drugą połowę XX w. Również w ostatnich dziesięcioleciach ubiegłego wieku pojawiły się w ustawodawstwach wielu państw szczegółowe przepisy dotyczące programów komputerowych. Tendencja ta wymusza również coraz częstsze interwencje judykatury w zakresie interpretacji regulacji programów komputerowych. Także w Polsce orzeczenia dotyczące tej materii zaczęły się pojawiać od lat dziewięćdziesiątych ubiegłego wieku. W prezentowanym artykule autor dokonuje krótkiej analizy rozstrzygnięć dotyczących programów komputerowych, zwłaszcza w zakresie ich charakteru i elementów składowych.
    The rapid development of computing has come at the second half of 20th century. Back in the last century, we can see specific rules about computer programs. From this is born the need of a balanced position of jurisprudence about computer programs. Also in Poland in the 90’s we can see the regulations about computer program. This article describes regulations in the area of computer programs.

    Przeprowadzono badania dotyczące wykorzystania komputerów i Internetu przez 334 studentów studiów o profilu rolniczym metodą wywiadu standaryzowanego. Stwierdzono, że studenci wykorzystują komputery w procesie studiowania. Większość posiadaczy komputerów - 75% uznaje ich dużą przydatność w studiowaniu. Najwięcej studentów wykorzystywało Internet do komunikowania się. Ponad 90% studentów poszukiwało w Internecie informacji związanych z przedmiotami realizowanymi na studiach. 82% studentów oceniło Internet, jako bardzo przydatny w trakcie studiowania.
    The scope of the research covered the use of computers and the Internet by 334 students of agricultural sciences. The research was carried out using the standardised survey method. It has been observed that students use computers during their studying process. Majority of computer owners - 75% - admit that computers are highly useful during studies. Most of students used the Internet for communication purposes. More than 90% of students were searching the Internet for information concerning subjects they were studying. 82% of students rated the Internet to be very useful during studies.

    Dokonano analizy wykorzystania programów komputerowych wspomagających prowadzenie gospodarstwa rolnego przez rolników. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w roku 2012 poprzez bezpośrednie ankietowanie właścicieli 54 gospodarstw rolnych położonych na terenie powiatu łomżyńskiego w województwie podlaskim. Instrumentem badawczym był kwestionariusz wywiadu, który składał się z trzech części. Pierwsza dotyczyła informacji o właścicielu gospodarstwa, druga informacji o gospodarstwie, natomiast trzecia część ankiety składała się z pytań dotyczących specjalistycznych programów komputerowych, jakie rolnicy wykorzystują w swoich gospodarstwach. Pomimo że większość respondentów słyszała o specjalistycznych programach komputerowych dla rolnictwa, to tylko 27% z nich wykorzystuje takie programy w swoim gospodarstwie. Najczęściej wykorzystywanymi programami są programy wspomagające produkcję roślinną (55%), produkcję zwierzęcą (16%) oraz programy rachunkowe (27%). Aż 82% ankietowanych rolników wskazało, że przy wyborze programu komputerowego sugerowało się profilem prowadzonej produkcji w swoim gospodarstwie. Największym zainteresowaniem cieszyły się programy: NawSald (41%), AgroSystem (26%), Zootechnik Bydło (16%) oraz Agronom (14%).
    The analysis of the use of computer programmes supporting running an agricultural farm by farmers was carried out. The research was carried out in 2012 in the form of a direct survey of owners of 54 agricultural farms located in Łomżyński province in Podlaskie voivodeship. A survey questionnaire, which consisted of three parts was a research instrument. The first part concerned information on the farm owner, the second on a farm, while the third part of the questionnaire comprised questions on specialists computer programmes, which farmers use in their farms. Although, majority of respondents have heard of specialists computer programmes for agriculture, only 27% of them use such programmes in their farms. Programmes supporting plant production (55%), animal production (16%) and accounting programmes (27%) are the most frequently used computer programmes. As much as 82% of the questioned farmers proved, that they were influenced by the production profile of their farms while selecting a computer programme. The most popular were: NawSald (41%), AgroSystem (26%), Zootechnik Bydło (16%) and Agronom (14%).

    The issue of intellectual property protection on the global information network the Internet has recently become a matter of serious concern on the part of rights holders. Copyright, which arose with the invention of book printing in medieval Europe, was originally planned and understood as an institution of exclusive author’s monopoly on the production of material copies of works. In fact, it is in this context that the concept of copyright existed until the XXI century. On the eve of the new millennium, the emergence of an unprecedented phenomenon for its time - the World Wide Web, has significantly shaken traditional views on the concept of copyright and the limits of its regulation. The effectiveness of the copyright approach to the protection of the legitimate interests of right holders was questioned as early as 1845 by the American judge in the case of Emerson V. Davies. In his opinion, the exclusive rights to the results of creative activity are inadmissible, given that these results themselves are the result of thoughts, ideas, images that were created and repeatedly used by other people. Indeed, creativity is impossible without attracting or borrowing from the “intellectual treasury” of civilization. With the development of modern information technology, such borrowing has become available to anyone with an Internet connection. With the proliferation of computer programs that allow you to record music, create images, animation, creativity is no longer an elite activity available only to the select few.

    Opis:
    One of the fundamental ontological issues of the philosophy of computer science is the question about the object of computer scientists’ research. In the paper some views concerning the objects of computer science are analyzed. They include information, computers, computer programs and algorithms. Recognition of computer science as a science of information leads to many philosophical problems related not only to the definition of information, but also of its nature. Similar issues are associated with the adoption of computers as the subject of computer science’s research. In the paper the relationship between the computer as an abstract object and its implementation − real machines is examined. Also the problem of distinguishing hardware from software is considered. Finding that the main computer scientist’s activity is software creation, leads to the view that computer science is the science of programs. The main views on the nature of programs, including the distinction between program as code and program as an executed process are compared and discussed. The paper also contains an analysis of algorithms and procedures as objects of computer science’s research, including a discussion of the main features of the algorithm.
    Jednym z podstawowych zagadnień ontologicznych filozofii informatyki jest pytanie o przedmiot badań informatyków. W pracy dokonano analizy wybranych poglądów dotyczących obiektów informatyki: informacji, komputerów, programów komputerowych oraz algorytmów. Uznanie informatyki za naukę o informacji prowadzi do wielu problemów filozoficznych związanych nie tylko z definicją wszechobecnej w nauce informacji, ale również z jej naturą. Podobne kwestie związane są z przyjęciem, że przedmiotem badań informatyki są komputery. W pracy przeanalizowano między innymi związek pomiędzy komputerem, rozumianym jako byt abstrakcyjny, a rzeczywistymi maszynami, będącymi jego urzeczywistnieniami, oraz problem rozróżnienia hardware’u od software’u. Z kolei stwierdzenie, że podstawową działalnością informatyków jest tworzenie programów komputerowych prowadzi do poglądu, że informatyka jest nauką o programach. W pracy dokonano zestawienia poglądów na naturę programów, w tym na rozróżnienie programów jako kodów od programów wykonywanych na komputerach. Praca zawiera również analizę pojęcia algorytmu oraz procedury jako obiektów badań informatyki, w tym omówienie cech algorytmu.
