Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono kilka przykładów różnego rodzaju urządzeń, których sprawność przekracza 100%. W Internecie istnieje wiele tego typu przykładów lecz tylko nieliczne z nich są autentycznie udokumentowane badaniami i uzyskanymi na nie patentami. Mimo, że powstały niedawno, niektóre już znalazły zastosowanie w praktyce dając znaczne oszczędności energii w porównaniu do urządzeń klasycznych.
In the article we show some appliance examples, which efficiency is over 100 %. In the internet we can find a lot of such appliances but only few of them are documentary and have got patents. Despite they were constructed recently some are now using, giving more energy safer than classic.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono podstawowe informacje na temat unieruchamiania komórek drobnoustrojów. Scharakteryzowano właściwości alginianu jako najpowszechniej stosowanego materiału do unieruchamiania komórek oraz omówiono podstawowe techniki kapsułkowania materiałów komórkowych. Przedstawiono także przykłady praktycznego wykorzystania kapsułkowanych komórek.
In the paper, the basic information on cell immobilization by encapsulation was described. Properties of the alginate, the most popular material used for immobilization, were characterized. The main encapsulation techniques were reviewed, as were some examples of the encapsulated cell applications.

Opis:: Noctiluca scintillans is an important member of the mesozooplankton in terms of biomass and production in the Seto Inland Sea, Japan. The densities and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) contents of N. scintillans cells were measured. Vertical profiles of N. scintillans cellular activity in the coastal water were determined and the ATP contents were high at middle layers, with a maximum depth of 10 m. ATP contents were low in the surface and lower layers. These results suggest that active N. scintillans cells in subsurface layers with low density play an important role in the coastal ecosystem, and high-density cells in the surface water are not active.

Opis:: Studies were undertaken to evaluate by parasitological techniques the course of intestinal and muscular invasions in mice infected with Trichinella spiralis and treated with TFX-Thymomodulin (TFX-Th). Studies were conducted on 120 mice of BALB/c and SWISS strains, infected each with a mean invasive dose of 300 T. spiralis larvae. TFX-Th (Thymoorgan GmbH Pharmazie Co. KG, Vienenburg, Germany) was administered subcutaneously at 30 mg/kg body weight. Depending upon duration of TFX-Th administration and stages of intestinal and muscular invasions, three experiments were distinguished in the study. The results indicated that TFX-Th promoted eradication of larvae from muscles, whether administered at the early of the late stage of T. spiralis invasion.
