Among all branches of industry in Poland, the highest average gross salary, and therefore the biggest difference compared to the average wage in Poland and the high growth dynamics of average wages to the end of 2009 was recorded in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products. This was connected with very severe, responsible and dangerous work. Also high average gross wage, and as a result the biggest difference compared to the average salary in Poland and the high growth dynamics of average salaries was recorded in manufacture of tobacco products. The impact of such salaries was the situation in the tobacco markets. The lowest average gross wages, and therefore the smallest differences compared to the average salary in Poland and the low growth dynamics of average salaries occurred in the branch of manufacture of wearing apparel and fur products. Importing cheap clothing from the East influenced the deterioration of the economic situation of Polish companies, which translated into such a low level of salaries. In other industries in Poland salaries, differences and growth dynamics remained at a similar level. However, important changes in the industries in Poland in terms of wages, differences and growth rates observed after 2009. Since 2010 the highest average gross salaries, and therefore the highest differences and the highest growth rate salaries was recorded in manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products and derivatives, and in the mining of coal and lignite, extraction of peat. Position salaries of the industry was a result of the situation on the world fuel markets. Also, high salaries, big difference, and high growth dynamics took place in the branches of the mining industry of coal and lignite; extraction of peat. Position of the industry in the hierarchy salaries was stable and in spite of its reconstruction and economic decrease the importance of some of the salaries were higher. In other branches of industry in Poland salaries differences and growth dynamics remained at approximately the same range. By the end of 2012, the average wages in the industries, there were no major changes. Level, dynamics and relationships wages in industry were dependent on the quality of personnel, productivity, level of technology and organization of production and of the economic situation on the domestic and foreign markets. - Źródło:
