book design - Opis:
- A common conviction that the design language is a source of unlimited abilities, must be re-verified in the case of such a specific object like a printed book. Book design is bound by numerous limitations both internally and externally. Internal limitations are created by the multi-layer design process itself, but also by the communication function of the book and its complex structure, evaluated for hundreds of years to rears to the current form. These limitations touch mostly the four rigid aspects of the book: the scripture, the typographic layout, illustrations and cover. The other kind of limitations which influence the graphic design of the edition, comes from external sources.
