    Wstęp i cele: Szkolenie BHP pracowników to jeden z ważniejszych czynników wpływających na zmniejszenie lub wyeliminowanie wypadków przy pracy lub chorób zawodowych. Niestety szkolenia z zakresu BHP często są traktowane jako przykry obowiązek - i to zarówno przez pracodawców, jak i pracowników. Na rynku szkoleń BHP można odnotować wiele nieprawidłowości i nadużyć. Materiał i metody: Materiałem są wybrane zagadnienia z literatury przedmiotu. Zastosowano metodę analizy teoretycznej. Wyniki: Dobre szkolenie BHP przyniesie efekty w postaci ograniczenia liczby wypadków i chorób zawodowych, a poprzez podniesienie kultury bezpieczeństwa pracy przyczyni się do wzrostu jakości i wydajności pracy, a także odpowiedzialności pracowników. Wnioski: Przyjęte przed laty założenie, że zasady wolnego rynku mogą być jedynym kryterium regulującym funkcjonowanie jednostek szkoleniowych BHP, nie zdało egzaminu. Brak kryteriów dla jednostek szkoleniowych spowodował, że w przeważającej części konkurują one ceną, a nie jakością szkoleń.
    Introduction and aim: Health and safety training of employees is one of the most important factors influencing the reduction or elimination of accidents at work and occupational diseases. Unfortunately, health and safety training is often seen as an annoying obligation. We may notice many irregularities on the market of safety training. Material and methods: The material is selected issues from the literature. The method of theoretical analysis has been shown in the paper. Results: Good health and safety training will result in a limitation of the number of accidents and occupational diseases, and by improving work safety culture will contribute to increased quality and productivity at work, and the responsibility of employees. Conclusion: Adopted several years ago the assumption that free market principles can be the sole criterion governing the operation of health and safety training units, failed miserably. There are no criteria for training units meant that for the most part they compete price, not quality training.

    Opis:
    Purpose: To search for training methods for specialists in industrial safety, environmental and occupational safety and health in conditions of insufficient (or absent) laboratory support and to study the relationship between the student learning approach and acquired competencies. Design/methodology/approach: To study modern advances in industrial safety, environmental and occupational safety and health and training methods for specialists a systematic literature review approach has been used. For publications from 2017, queries were asked through keywords and safety related topics. To relationship study between the student learning approach and acquired competencies a student survey on random sampling has been used. A total of 112 students of the 3rd and 4th year of study at the university were interviewed. Findings: The results of the survey showed that the students’ number who simultaneously successfully answered theoretical questions and completed practical tasks is 33.8% from the group with theoretical training and 75% from the group that was trained in the workplace. The relationship between the groups with a visit to the existing enterprise and acquired competencies was justified by the association coefficient and contingency coefficient that are 0.7 and 0.4 respectively. Research limitations/implications: A student’s survey was conducted at only one university. Questions were asked only according to the curriculum of the course “Labour Protection”. No survey for other training courses conducted. Practical implications: The research results are reasonable and can be applied at universities to improve the educational process of training specialists. Originality/value: It was proposed that students be trained using existing enterprises as a laboratory base and by the methods of statistics mathematical processing was substantiated the proposal feasibility.

    Wstęp i cel: W niniejszym artykule przedstawione zostały problemy związane z obowiązkiem przeprowadzania szkoleń z zakresu bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy, sposoby i zasady, jakimi pracodawcy i kierującymi pracownikami powinni się kierować. Zwrócono również uwagę na konieczność dążenia do zmian w celach organizacji. Zadaniem artykułu jest wykazanie, iż oddziaływanie na pracowników poprzez organizację miejsca pracy przyczynia się do zwiększenia świadomości pracodawców, wpływa na poprawę zrozumienia aspektów bhp, a także bezpośrednio kształtuje postawy pracowników. Materiał i metody: Materiałem jest problematyka kształtowania bezpieczeństwa, organizacji miejsca pracy oraz zasad przeprowadzania szkoleń. Metodą jest obserwacja zachowań, eliminacja zakłóceń a także zgłębienie problematyki szkoleń. Przeprowadzona obserwacja zachowań umożliwia określenie, wpływu szkoleń na bezpieczeństwo pracowników. Wyniki: Znajomość komunikacji między poziomami organizacji, podziału celów, stosowanych metod skutecznego motywowania, transferowania szkoleń do miejsca wykonywania pracy przyczynia się do wdrożenia i utrwalenia pozytywnych zmian w rozwoju pracownika oraz jego bezpieczeństwa w środowisku pracy. Wniosek: Kształtowanie bezpiecznych postaw pracowników poprzez szkolenia odbywa się na wielu płaszczyznach. Odbywa się poprzez techniczne przygotowanie gruntu pracy, wytworzenie właściwych warunków otoczenia, wyznaczanie celów organizacji oraz świadomego i celowego działania pracodawców na rzecz poprawy warunków pracy.
    Introduction and aim: This article presents the problems related to the obligation to carry out training on occupational health and safety, methods and principles that direct the employer and employees should follow. Attention was also drawn to the need to promote changes in the objectives of the organization. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that the impact on employees by organizing the workplace helps to increase the awareness of employers, improves the understanding of safety aspects, as well as directly shapes the attitude of the staff. Material and methods: The material is shaping issues of safety, workplace organization and principles of training. The method is observation of behavior, interference suppression and also explore the issue of training. Conducted observation of behavior enables you to determine the impacts of training on workers’ safety. Results: Knowledge of communication between levels of the organization, shared goals, methods of effective motivation, training transfer to the place of work contributes to the implementation and consolidation of positive changes in employee development and its safety in the workplace. Conclusion: The creation of safe attitudes of employees through training takes place on many levels. This is done through technical preparing the ground work, to produce appropriate environmental conditions, setting goals of the organization and the conscious and deliberate action of employers to improve working conditions.

    This study examines the roles and functions of businesses, labor-exporting countries’ representative offices in Taiwan, religious organizations, and manpower agencies in promoting occupational safety and health (OSH). It also offers advice to Taiwanese authorities on making policies and improvements regarding the oversight mechanism mandated by the Labor Safety and Health Act, giving them an idea of what to focus on when enforcing control over blue-collar foreign workers’ OSH conditions. This study also proposes that Taiwanese authorities may serve not only as an overseer/inspector of those hiring blue-collar foreign workers in Taiwan, but also expand their role to lay down policies regarding a variety of OSH teaching materials in the blue-collar foreign workers’ native languages (spoken or written), the qualifications of translators in blue-collar foreign workers’ OSH training programs, and regulations concerning the longer hours such training programs take.

    Controlling occupational injuries and illnesses and related costs is a top priority in most companies. Selecting a qualified professional to participate in the workplace safety and health activities can be a vital step in this process, allowing the development of professional careers in this field. The present paper aims at identifying the requirements and skills that Romanian education and training system should develop for Occupational Safety and Health consultants, in order to formulate a training methodology draft as a basis for the establishment of a unique occupational standard, which will facilitate access to an European OSH professional career. Our goal is to launch a meaningful debate and reflection, to involve all the stakeholders in integrating the occupational health and safety topic in the university curricula and practice.
    Kontrolowanie wypadków przy pracy i chorób oraz związanych z tym kosztów jest priorytetem w większości firm. Wybór wykwalifikowanego specjalisty do udziału w działaniach dotyczących bezpieczeństwa i ochrony zdrowia w miejscu pracy, może być ważnym krokiem w tym procesie, pozwalając na rozwój karier zawodowych na tym polu. Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu określenie wymagań i umiejętności, jakie rumuński system edukacji szkoleń powinien opracować dla konsultantów Bezpieczeństwa i Higieny Pracy, w celu sformułowania projektu metodologii szkoleń jako podstawy do ustanowienia unikalnego standardu pracy, który ułatwi dostęp do Europejskiej kariery zawodowej BHP. Naszym celem jest zainicjowanie znaczącej debaty i refleksji, w celu zaangażowania wszystkich zainteresowanych stron w integrację w temacie bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w programie nauczania i praktyce uniwersyteckiej.

    Bezpieczeństwo pracy, szczególnie w przemyśle ciężkim, cechuje się dużą ilością czynników niebezpiecznych w środowisku pracy i jest przedmiotem wysokiej troski każdego przedsiębiorcy. Wypadki przy pracy w tych branżach niosą za sobą duże szkody na zdrowiu, a często i życiu załogi, co skutkuje również znacznymi stratami ekonomicznymi w przedsiębiorstwach. Praca bezwypadkowa jest marzeniem wszystkich pracodawców, a z uwagi, iż najczęstszą przyczyną wypadków zawodowych jest tzw. czynnik ludzki, kształcenie i szkolenie wydają się kluczowymi formami nabywania świadomości o zagrożeniach. Na pierwszej ogólnoeuropejskiej konferencji: „First VISION ZERO Europe Conference” w Bochum w roku 2016 w sesji panelowej, podsumowującej całą konferencję, stwierdzono, że kluczem i pierwszym czynnikiem minimalizacji ryzyka powstania wypadków jest edukacja na każdym etapie wszystkich procesów, stanowiących egzystencję człowieka. Z tego też względu w niniejszym artykule przedstawiono przykłady działań edukacyjnych Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej w Krakowie, która w swych programach problemy bezpieczeństwa pracy mocno eksponuje i akcentuje. Przykłady te obejmują doświadczenia i perspektywy kształcenia na wielu poziomach studiów i w różnych płaszczyznach tej dziedziny.
    The area of occupational health and safety is characterized by a high number of hazardous factors in the workplace and therefore is a concern for every entrepreneur, and particularly for those working in industrial settings. Because work-related accidents often result in serious health damage of workers, or can even bring causalities, they are also associated with high economics losses. While an accident-free workplace is a dream of every employer, both education and training seem to be key in raising awareness of occupational health and safety, especially since the so-called human factor lies at the root of most accidents. The first pan-European “VISION ZERO” conference in Bochum in 2016 did indeed conclude that education at all stages and of all human life processes is absolutely essential in order to minimize the risk of work-related accidents. Along these lines, this papers demonstrates the richness and diversity of educational processes in the field of occupational health and safety at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. This includes the experiences and perspectives at multiple levels and in different areas of study.

    Wirtualna rzeczywistość to świat stworzony przy użyciu technik komputerowych, który pozwala na tworzenie symulacji zjawisk zachodzących w świecie rzeczywistym i coraz częściej wykorzystywana jest w wielu branżach. Dzięki wykorzystaniu wirtualnego środowiska do prowadzenia szkoleń pracownik może dokładnie zobaczyć, poczuć i „przeżyć” określone scenariusze, sytuacje wypadkowe i poznać, jakie mogą nastąpić konsekwencje w przypadku nieprawidłowego zachowania się w środowisku pracy. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań ankietowych dotyczących możliwości zastosowania wirtualnej rzeczywistości w szkoleniach w dziedzinie bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w budownictwie.
    Virtual reality is a world created using computer techniques to create simulations of real-world phenomena and is increasingly used in many industries. Thanks to the use of the virtual training environment, an employee can see, feel and ‘survive’ certain scenarios, accident situations in detail and learn what the consequences may be if they behave incorrectly in the work environment. This paper presents the results of a survey on the feasibility of using virtual reality in health and safety training in the construction industry.

    The paper stresses the importance of trainings in the scope of Health and Safety, in this H&S management in the functioning H&S systems of contemporary enterprises. The author also presents the principles of training, including H&S training, considering: demonstrativeness, accessibility, awareness of social responsibility, regularity, knowledge durability and binary relations between theory and practice. The underlying objective of the paper is to present training methods in the scope of Health and Safety. These methods have been aggregated in two groups: explanatory methods and activating methods. Referring to the research conducted within the European programme Leonardo da Vinci „H&S management system in enterprise - introductory module” the author has summarised the criteria for selecting teaching methods with regard to: goals and content of training process, diversification of participants in training groups in the scope of H&S, skills of the trainer and organisational conditions. Moreover, training methods in the scope of H&S have been aggregated, being highly adjusted and reflecting actual professional activities - carried out activities and potential threats that occur at the work post, in the enterprises of training participants. These methods have been characterised considering the following aspects: learning goals, educational resources, organisational conditions and examples of pursued contents.
