    W artykule przestawiono pojęcie kultury korporacyjnej, przybliżono jej aspekty oraz charakterystykę. Zdefiniowano pojęcie kultury korporacyjnej we współczesnym przedsiębiorstwie. W odniesieniu do roli czynnika ludzkiego w kreowaniu kultury korporacyjnej opisano metody identyfikacji błędów ludzkich, a także zaproponowano metody pomiaru kultury bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy. Przedstawiono także prawne aspekty funkcjonowania systemów zarządzania bezpieczeństwem i higieną pracy.
    The article presents the concept of corporate culture with her aspects and characteristics. There are also defined the concept of corporate culture in the modern enterprise. As regards the role of the human factor in making the corporate culture describes methods for the identification of human errors and proposed methods of measuring Occupational Health and Safety. The article also presented the legal aspects of management systems Occupational Health and Safety.

    Opis:
    Total Quality Management (TQM) is defined as the management approach of the organization aimed at long-term success through client satisfaction, and which benefits all members of the organization and society (ISO 8402; International Organization for Standardization, 1994a). The objective of the study was to evaluate management methods applied to improve working conditions in Polish enterprises implementing TQM. The investigation was conducted in the form of interviews, which covered relevant connections between the TQM concept and occupational health and safety (OHS) systematic management rules. The results revealed that the criteria adopted in investigated enterprises for OHS management systems, as well as the implemented management methods and tools, can be evaluated positively. However, many require significant improvement in order to ensure better compliance with the existing law provisions. Elements of OHS management systems also require better integration with the overall management system of the enterprise.

    Opis:
    The concept of occupational health and safety is not defined in Polish law. The only place where such a definition can be found is PN-N-1801:2004. Nevertheless, according to the Act on standardisation, the application of Polish Standards is voluntary. Activities in the field of occupational health and safety should be an integral part of business management. Companies from countries which are members of the European Union, in accordance with Directive 89/391/EEC, are obliged to implement standards related to occupational health and safety. The most commonly used and recognised standard for occupational health and safety management systems, in line with the specifics of each company, is the OHSAS 18001 international management system, while in Poland it is the PN-N-18001 standard. The study examined the scope of OHS at work among Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia employees. The employees were subjected to surveys. The results obtained show that employees appreciate the importance of OHS regulations, but they do not always consciously comply with them. One of the tools that enabled author to prepare this article is analytic method called desk research. Desk Research is a research method that boils down to analyzing the records of available data sources, including in particular their compilation, mutual verification and processing. Such analysis is the basis for drawing conclusions about the examined problem. For example - the effect of the Desk Research analysis proceeded as part of the labor market survey is the diagnosis of the state of the labor market in the studied area, the characteristics of all its component groups as well as a description and verification of the actions taken by the institutions operating within it.
