    Opis:
    W artykule opisano badania certyfikacyjne prowadzone przez jednostki upoważnione w celu uzyskania świadectw dopuszczenia do eksploatacji. Przedstawiono ogólny model systemu srk jako obiektu badań, klasyfikację rodzajów badań i ich uproszczone modele oraz zasygnalizowano problemy występujące przy ocenie zgodności z wymaganiami, wynikające z braku skodyfikowanych specyfikacji wymagań, a zwłaszcza wymagań związanych z bezpieczeństwem funkcjonalnym systemów.
    The paper describes certification tests carried out by the notified bodies in order to obtain acceptance for operation. General model of the safety installation system is presented, classification of the types of tests and their simplified models, as well as the problems emerging during the evaluation of compatibility with the requirement - resulting from the lack of codified requirement specifications, and the requirements related to functional safety of systems in particular.

    Communication between vehicles is very important element of accidents reduce. In this contribution is made accidents analysis in SR and is described all the available techniques for communication between various vehicles among themselves and with the infrastructure. The aim of this is to have a complete overview of all the possible communication techniques that the world of electronics and telecommunications has proposed in the last years that can be applied for accomplishing the task of enabling vehicles to communicate and interact with other vehicles as well as with the infrastructure.

    Opis:
    Traffic is a key-factor in modern economics. Despite of this, there is a continual conflict between mobility satisfaction and increased delay. Nowadays, many specialists are trying to find out the reasons why some traffic events occur. ITS are systems which help to make efficient use of road and urban communication network, using information, communication and directing technologies. They make basic conditions for high quality communication and information society that we are approaching also in our country. We have to remember that, according to current statistics 93% of traffic accidents are caused by human error. Assistance systems are the main challenge. They are based on communication (data exchange) not only among vehicles themselves but also vehicles and infrastructure. These so called Intelligent Assistance Systems promise great benefits in the sphere of efficiency of transport systems and road safety. These benefits include mainly increase in the capacity of the road network congestion and pollution reduction, shorter and more predictable driving time, improving traffic safety for all participants of road traffic, lower operational costs of vehicles, better organization and management of road network. In this paper, I first review all the available techniques for communication between various vehicles among themselves and with the infrastructure. The aim of this is to have a complete overview of all the possible communication techniques that the world of electronics and telecommunications has proposed in the last years that can be applied for accomplishing the task of enabling vehicles to communicate and interact with other vehicles as well as with the infrastructure.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań stanu układów hamulcowych samochodów używanych. Ocenę stanu oświetlenia pojazdów prowadzono na podstawie poprawności ustawienia świateł mijania. Badania wykonywano na stacji diagnostycznej, podczas prowadzenia okresowych badań technicznych pojazdów.
    The results of certain parameters of braking cars systems on the roads of the Silesian agglomeration were presented in the paper. Assessment of vehicle braking systems were carried out performed by measuring the braking forces wheels, differences in the forces of braking the wheels on the same axle. The study was conducted on the diagnostic station during periodic technical inspections of vehicles.

    W artykule omówiony został problem bezpieczeństwa stacyjnych urządzeń sterowania ruchem kolejowym (srk) w procesie eksploatacji. Przedstawiony został system ekspercki WANDA reprezentujący bazę wiedzy o całym procesie eksploatacyjnym urządzeń srk oraz określono jego nadsystem. Ponad to w artykule przedstawiono procesy eksploatacyjne na podstawie których można określić poziom niezawodności badanych obiektów. Artykuł ten tworzy podstawę wiedzy do modelowania systemu stacyjnych urządzeń nastawczych.
    The article discussed the problem of security station traffic control devices in the process exploitation. Was presented expert system WANDA representing the knowledge base of the whole process operating railway traffic control devices and defines its above system. More than this article shows the processes operating on the basis of which you can determine the level of reliability of test items. This article forms the basis of knowledge modeling system station equipment settings.

    Opis:
    Effective operation of transport depends on the correct costs fixing. The external cost - externality- is the cost or its part that disinterest its author but interests the other people who are not participating in it or who are its victims. Some externalities cannot be expressed in numbers, like the death, human suffering and damage of environment. Externalities interfere with effective division of resources within sectors. According to the study of EU, the road transport, with its 92%, is the biggest contributor to externalities.

    W artykule przedstawiono nowoczesne systemy sterowania ruchem kolejowym wykonane w technologii komputerowej i hybrydowej (przekaźnikowo-komputerowej). Dokonano analizy technicznej wybranych nastawczych systemów srk przeznaczonych dla kolejnictwa polskiego. Dotychczas ruch pociągów w Polsce sterowany jest w stosunkowo niewielkim procencie za pomocą wspomnianych urządzeń nowej generacji. W publikacji zwrócono szczególną uwagę na aspekt bezpieczeństwa w różnym odniesieniu do systemów srk.
    The paper presents modern railway traffic control systems realized using computer and hybrid (computer-relays) technologies. The analysis for chosen railway traffic control system destined for Polish Railway Lines has been carried out. Until now in Poland, very few modern railway traffic control systems has been used to control. The paper puts particular emphasis on the safety of railway traffic control systems.
