- The profitability of harvesting 1 m3 of wild cherry timber was on the level from 79 to 87% in 1998, 79 to 91% in 1999 and 79 to 76% in 2000. In addition to retail sales, the price obtained from wild cherry timber sales in tenders held in the Świdnik Forest District reached 101% to 109% of the initial price. The sale price in the submission in 2000 was PLN 2050 per 1 m3 of wild cherry timber and in 2001 – from PLN 651 to 1943 per 1 m3.
