    This paper explores the role of myths and archetypes in organizational research. The notion of myth is introduced and theories regarding the origins of mythology are discussed. Myth’s typical features and its role in shaping social reality are considered to better understand the role of mythology in modern organizations. The role of archetype in organizational myth is also emphasized. Analysis of examples of organizational mythologies is combined with methodological insights regarding the ways in which myths and archetypes can be studied in different organizational contexts. The study not only aims to improve comprehension of key assumptions, theories and concepts involved in studying organizational mythologies, but also to enhance the ability to apply this method of organizational analysis.

    Was passiert eigentlich in Goethes Roman Die Wahlverwandtschaften? Was passiert, wenn die Individuen von unbewussten Prozessen wie denjenigen, die sich in der Metapher der chemischen Affinitäten verstecken, überwältigt werden? Der vorliegende Beitrag möchte sich mit diesen Fragen aus tiefenpsychologischer Perspektive befassen und aufzeigen, dass Goethe in seinem Roman sich sehr nah an einem Konzept des Unbewussten und der Psyche positioniert, wie es Carl Gustav Jung etwa hundert Jahre später konzipiert hat. Die Individuen, die als Gefangene einer rigiden Lebenseinstellung unbewusst (blind) wählen, sind nicht imstande wahre Entscheidungen zu treffen und für sie bleibt das Leben letzten Endes ein Rätsel.
    What actually happens in the Elective Affinities? What happens if individuals are overwhelmed by unconscious processes such as those that are hidden in the metaphor of the chemical affinities? This article addresses these questions from the psychological perspective and shows that Goethe positioned himself in his novel very close to the concepts of the unconscious and the psyche, as Carl Gustav Jung conceived about a hundred years later. The individuals who choose unconsciously (blindly) are unable to make actual decisions because they are prisoners of a rigid attitude of life, and in the end, life remains a mystery to them.

    У артыкуле рэканструiруюцца архетыпы «раскаянага грэшнiка» i «трыкстэра» у выбраных творах Максiма Гарэцкага Вяцкага перыяду. Падкрэслiваецца, што ў рамках унутрылiтаратурнай прасторы аналiз вобразаў з канатацыямi архетыпаў у творах М. Гарэцкага дазваляе выявiць псiхалагiчны стан пiсьменнiка, яго затоенае ego, што з’яўляецца каштоўным матэрыяалам для разумення лiтаратурнай спадчыны як беларускага класiка, так i мастацкай лiтаратуры ў целым. Даказваецца, што пiсьменнiк не мадэлiраваў учынкi лiтаратурных персанажаў твора свядома, падстройваючыся пад стэрэатып паводзiн згодна архетыпу. Увага акцэнтуецца i на адсутнасцi архетыпiчных сюжэтаў. Актуалiзацыя архетыпаў у згаданых творах носiць несвядомы характер.
    Artykuł rekonstruuje archetypy „pokutującego grzesznika” i „trickstera” w wybranych dziełach M. Goreckiego z okresu wiackiego. Autor artykułu podkreśla, że w ramach przestrzeni wewnątrzliterackiej analiza obrazów z konotacjami archetypów w twórczości M. Goreckiego ujawnia stan psychiczny pisarza, jego ukryte ego, które jest cennym materiałem do zrozumienia dziedzictwa literackiego zarówno białoruskiego klasyka, jak i fikcji w ogóle. Autor dowodzi, że pisarz nie modelował świadomie działań literackich bohaterów utworu, dostosowując się do stereotypu zachowania zgodnie z archetypem. Uwagę zwraca również brak wątków archetypowych. Aktualność archetypów w tych dziełach jest nieświadoma.
    The article reconstructs the archetypes of the “penitent sinner” and “trickster” in the selected works of M. Goretsky of the Vyatka period. It is emphasized that within the framework of the intra-literary space, the analysis of images with connotations of archetypes in the works of M. Goretsky reveals the psychological state of the writer, his hidden ego, which is a valuable material for understanding the literary heritage of both the Belarusian classic and fiction in general. It is proved that the writer did not model the actions of the literary characters of the work consciously, adjusting to the stereotype of behavior according to the archetype. The attention is also focused on the absence of archetypal plots. The actualization of archetypes is unconscious.
