powłoki szpachlówkowej do podłoża stalowego z wykorzystaniem metody
przyczepność mechaniczna powłoki do podłożą.
Adhesive coatings, such as, varnish or car putty coatings are widely used in the construction of modern motor vehicles. Therefore it is important to control their quality at the manufacturing stage, which affects the durability of the connection during its exploitation. The paper presents the results of the tests of adhesion of the car putty coating to steel substrate using the ultrasonic method. As a measure of adhesion a reflection coefficient |r| was used calculated on the base of longitudinal wave propagation in the area of the adhesive joint. The tests were performed for car body sheet - car putty coating connection in which the surface preparation of the steel sample was varied. The lowest value of reflection coefficient was obtained for surface grinded manually with 120 abrasive paper, which is recommended by the car putty manufacturer. The highest value of coefficient |r| was calculated for abrasive paper marked P1000. The results of the measurements shown that it is possible to estimate the adhesion of the adhesive coating to the steel substrate based on ultrasonic measurements and the smaller the value of the module |r| the greater the mechanical adhesion of the coating to the substrate. - Źródło:
