Die den jeweiligen Ordinatsherren, angefangen mit Kanzler Jan Zamoyski, obliegende Wohlfahrtspfl ege wurde im 17.-18. Jahrhundert in Zamość von verschiedenen Institutionen ausgeübt. Eine dieser Einrichtungen war die 1601 von Jan Zamoyski gegründete Bank Pobożny („Fromme Bank”). Hierbei handelte es sich um eine Aushilfs- und Darlehenskasse, die die Bürger von Zamość sowie die Studenten der dortigen Akademie unterstützen sollte. Trotz anfänglicher Schwierigkeiten mit dem Beginn der eigentlichen Tätigkeit dieser Institution erfüllte sie, besonders im 18. Jahrhundert, durchaus ihre Rolle und leiste den Bürgeren von Zamość häufi ge Unterstützung. Von großer Bedeutung für ihr reibungsloses Funktionieren erwiesen sich die mit der Akademie von Zamość und der Stiftskirche verbundenen Kreise sowie die städtischen Behörden. Es waren gerade Vertreter dieser Kreise, die dem Willen des Stifters entsprechend die Rolle von Kuratoren der Frommen Bank übernahmen. Aus ihrem Kreis wählten sie dann die sogenannten Provisoren, die die Bank direkt leiteten und über ihre Tätigkeit Rechenschaft ablegen mussten. Der Grundgedanke bestand in der Gewährung kleinerer und niedrig verzinster Darlehen für den Zeitraum eines Jahre, wobei diese Grundsätze allerdings mit der Zeit gewissen Veränderungen unterlagen. Dank des Engagements zahlreicher Kreise, u.a. der Familie Zamoyski, der Infulaten-Dekane, der Professoren der Akademie und der Stadtverwaltung, überdauerte die Fromme Bank und diente den Bewohnern von Zamość bis zu den Polnischen Teilungen. Daher verdienen sowohl diese Einrichtung, als eine der wenigen dieser Art, die im 17.-18. Jahrhundert in den polnischen Gebieten wirkten, als auch ihr Gründer sowie die späteren Wohltäter unsere Erinnerung und Anerkennung.

The records of the Cracow Archdeanery from 1617 to 1619 contain a wealth of material, which enables the learning of the work, life and habits of the clergy. This applies specifically to the internal inspections, which enables understanding the clergy not just in regard to numbers or structure, but also by means, so for unknown, allows the group to be viewed in the light of ministry and morality. The Skała Deanery compared to other deaneries, lying more to the east, was characterized by the lowest numbers of ministers per statistical parish. In practice, the ministry in the majority of the parishes in the deanery was carried out by only one priest. The information, relating to the ministry and habits of the clergy, received from the inspector and witnesses under oath has allowed the precise determination of the extent of the observed phenomena. The inspection does not indicate any scandalous failings in the religious education of the faithful. A serious obstacle to effective ministry was the fact that nearly 30 % of parish priests did not reside in the parishes under their care. This problem dating from the period of the Middle Ages as well as during the time of the implementation of the Tridentine Reforms had remained, as yet, unsolved. The clergy’s morality left much to be desired, they were universally accused of drunkenness and the keeping of non-permitted contacts with women. In the case of the former, as we have shown, the accusations were quite diverse. According to very careful estimates, the behavior, with respect to alcohol, of 15 % of the clergy was scandalous. Transgressions of a sexual nature were no less widespread, which according to the testimony of witnesses affected 41 % of ministers. A significant majority of the accused (71 %) cohabitated with women, while the acts of the rest were more of a short-term character, often quite shocking. It is worth remembering, that the veracity of the testimony of witnesses is borne out by their agreement with each other and the fact that they were made under oath. The emerging picture leads to the conclusion that ministers of the Skała Deanery, raised in the atmosphere of the implementation of the Tridentine Reforms, were far removed from the ideal of ministers carrying out their functions as administrators and as leaders of parishioners, who consciously and purposefully guided the spiritual lives of their parishes.

Die vorliegende Arbeit betrifft einen in den Manuskriptsammlungen der Universitätsbibliothek der Katholischen Universität Lublin „Johannes Paul II.” unter der Signaturnummer 2629 des allgemeinen Handschriftenkataloges aufbewahrten Handschriftenkodex aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Es handelt sich dabei um ein typisches „silva rerum” aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, das Kopien von Briefen, Reden, Dichtungen und verschiedenartigen historischen Schriftguts enthält, dass mit dem Wirken von Königen, Magnaten und anderen staatlichen Würdenträgern sowie am politischen Leben der Polnischen Adelsrepublik unter der Herrschaft von Zygmunt III., Władysław IV. und Jan Kazimierz aktiven Anteil nehmenden Menschen im Zusammenhang steht. Darüber hinaus fi nden sich hier auch politische Ansprachen, Akten von Friedensverträgen, zeremonielle und Gelegenheitsreden, das dichterische Schaffen zu bestimmten Anlässen wie Panegyrika, Epitaphien, Klagegesänge, Epigramme, Werke mit politischem und höfi schem Charakter, die in polnischer und lateinischer Sprache verfasst wurden. Diese so unterschiedlichen Dokumente sind von fünf Schreibern in einem Zeitraum von einem bis zu mehreren Dutzend Jahren (etwa 1655-1675) kopiert worden. Anfangs wurden sie von einem anonymen arianischen Repräsentanten abgeschrieben, während ein Teil der Dokumente aus dem Archiv der Familie Radziwiłł kopiert wurde – dies betraf das Wirken des litauischen Hetmans Krzysztof Radziwiłł. Eine Hilfe bei der Benutzung dieses Kodex´ bietet das Personen- und Ortsverzeichnis.

Die Visitationdossier der polnisches Pfarrgemeinde aus XVIII Jahrhunderts bilden ausgezeichnete Quelle in die Erkenntnis der Geschichten, einzeln Pfarrkirchen, in desto ihr materiell Zustand. So ist auch in dem Zufall der Visitation der Pfarrgemeinde unter dem Zurufen Heiligen Stanislau des Bischofs in Modliborzyce in 1781 Jahr. Diese Pfarrgemeinde kam zweifellos in XVII Jahrhundert auf. Man urteilte bis jetzt, dass es in 1664 Jahr folgte. Meiner Meinung nach, in der Wirklichkeit, folgte das schon in 1654 Jahr, oder sogar früher. In dem Gegensatz von alte Visitation dieser Pfarrgemeinde, durchführte wahrscheinlich von 1682 Jahr, die aus 1781 Jahr informiert uns sehr genau über die Zustand ihr Bebauung. Wir erkundigen uns aus ihnen über dem Aussehen der Kirche, der Pfarrschule, des Pfarramts ob der Friedhof. In dieser Arbeit publiziere ich gewähltes Fragmente der Visitation der Pfarrgemeinde in Modliborzyce aus 1781 Jahr, der die eben Aspekte ihr Funktionieren durchblitzen. Das Original der Visitation stammt aus dem Erzbistumarchiv in Lublin. Auf Bedürfnis gegenwärtiger Veröffentlichung der Text der Visitation wird einverständlich mit Verlaganweisung von Herren K. Lepszy, M. Radwan und S. Litak bearbeitetet. Die Zugabe zu ihm ist altpolnisch und lateinisch Wörterbuch der Fristen anwenden in dem Text der Visitation.

Apart from the Czech Brethren, the Lutherans were another large religious group in the Uxth-century Leszno. They came to Leszno in 1628 from nearby Silesia, mainly from Góra. They formed an organized community using the German language, with a strong identity. From the beginning of their stay in Leszno, they applied for their own school. Initially, they sent their children to the school of the Czech Brethren. In 1638 they were granted the privilege to found elementary school and school for girls. There were also small private schools. In 1659 a Latin school was established, which was to be an alternative – for religious reasons – to the gymnasium of the Brethren. Lutherans were interested in practical education: theology, law and medicine. The level of education in Lutheran schools in Leszno is confirmed by the number of students studying at German universities, including in Frankfurt (Oder), Leipzig, Jena.
Obok braci czeskich drugą wielką grupą wyznaniową w XVII-wiecznym Lesznie byli luteranie. Przybyli oni do Leszna w 1628 roku z pobliskiego Śląska, głównie z miasta Góra. Tworzyli zorganizowaną wspólnotę posługującą się językiem niemieckim, o silnie ukształtowanej tożsamości. Od początku pobytu w Lesznie starali się o własną szkołę. Początkowo posyłali swoje dzieci do szkoły braci czeskich. W 1638 roku otrzymali przywilej na założenie szkoły elementarnej oraz szkoły dla dziewczynek. Istniały też małe placówki prywatne. W 1659 roku powstała szkoła łacińska, która – z powodów wyznaniowych – miała być alternatywą dla gimnazjum braci czeskich. Luteranie zainteresowani byli wykształceniem praktycznym: teologicznym, prawniczym i medycznym. O poziomie nauczania w szkole luterańskiej świadczy liczba młodzieży studiującej na uniwersytetach niemieckich, m.in. we Frankfurcie nad Odrą, w Lipsku, Jenie.
