Celem artykułu było przedstawienie dotychczasowych wyników badań dotyczących dostarczania środowiskowych dóbr publicznych przez rolnictwo.
In recent years environmental public goods generated by agriculture have begun to grow in importance and are the subject of a growing number of studies. As a result, that the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which has a big impact on agriculture of the European Union (EU), through continuous “greening up” can contribute to the provision of environmental public goods, which is one of its objectives. OECD was the first organization which was interested in this topic and tried to determine indicators for the measurement of environmental public goods. One of the main projects that proposed indicators for most of these goods was the IRENA Project in 2005. In addition, work on this issue were taken in the draft PAIS or CAPRI and by research team like LEI Wageningen and the European Commission. Although it is noted that environmental public goods are an important aspect in the CAP that does not exist yet versatile and validated indicators, to allow for good placement of funds under the Rural Development Programme (RDP). - Źródło:
