- The paper describes temperature Differences Increment Tendency (DIT) in relation to time, between a housing estate with a lot of greens (sady Żoliborskie) and suburban area (Okęcie). For all analyzed typed of development, periods with negative values of DIT (observation period 7 AM to 9 PM) predominated periods with positive DIT. The largest negative values of temperature DIT (-0.4 to -0.6ºC per hour) were noted on high-storeyed development and plot (quarters) site development with North and South-East exposition, which were in shade in the period previous to maximum daily air temperature. The largest positive values of temperature DIT (to 0.2°C per hour) were found on plot (quarters) site development (South-West exposition) and high-storeyed development on sun-facing points in periods of maximum insolation. Values of temperature DIT near 0.0°C per hour, on evening hours, probably feature developed areas with a lot of greens.
