    Opis:
    This work focuses on the parliamentary control in Uzbekistan. Currently, besides the Constitution of Uzbekistan, the issue of parliamentary control is subject to the Act from 11 April 2016 „on parliamentary control” and other legislative acts, in particular relating to the constitutional position of Oliy Majlis. The law provides for various mechanisms of control over the executive power (e.g. vote for budget approval, parliamentary inquiry, parliamentary investigation, presenting information about their business by the executive power). Currently, the most important challenge related to the development of parliamentary control in Uzbekistan is further democratisation of the political regime, increasing political pluralism.

    Przedmiotem artykułu jest referendum Republiki Uzbekistan będące ogólnonarodowym głosowaniem obywateli nad najważniejszymi sprawami życia społecznego i państwowego w celu przyjęcia ustaw Republiki Uzbekistan i innych decyzji. Decyzje przyjęte w referendum mają wyższą moc prawną i mogą być zmienione lub uzupełnione jedynie w drodze referendum. Referendum na równi z wyborami jest sposobem bezpośredniego wyrażenia woli narodu. Referendum odbywa się na całym obszarze Uzbekistanu. Prawną podstawę instytucji referendum tworzy przede wszystkim Konstytucja Republiki Uzbekistan i ustawa „O referendum Republiki Uzbekistan”. Prawo uczestniczenia w referendum stanowi jeden ze sposobów bezpośredniego uczestniczenia obywateli Uzbekistanu w sprawowaniu władzy.
    Subject of the article is a referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan which is a nationwide vote of citizens over the most important issues of society and the state to adopt laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other decisions. Decisions adopted in a referendum, have a higher legal force and may be amended or supplemented only by referendum. Referendum on par with the elections is a way to direct expression of the will of the people. The referendum takes place throughout the Uzbekistan.The legal basis for the institution of the referendum produces primarily the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law “On the Referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. The right to participate in the referendum is one of the ways of direct participation of citizens of Uzbekistan in deciding matters of society and the state.

    Przedmiotem artykułu jest przedstawienie procedury ustawodawczej w Izbie Ustawodawczej Olij Mażlisa Republiki Uzbekistanu. Artykuł oparty został przede wszystkim o liczne akty prawne. W pracy ujęte zostały zagadnienia prawa inicjatywy ustawodawczej: tryb rozpatrzenia projektu ustawy w trzech czytaniach, rozpatrzenie ustawy odrzuconej przez Senat, w tym instytucja komisji pojednawczej, a także zagadnienie weta Prezydenta Uzbekistanu wobec ustawy.
    The subject of the article is to present the legislative process in the Chamber of the Legislative Olij Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Article is based primarily on numerous legislative acts. The work has included the issue of right of legislative initiative. Mode consideration of a bill in three readings. Consider the bill rejected by the Senate, including the institution of a conciliation commission. Finally, the question of the veto of the President of Uzbekistan to the Act.
